When, I called to complain I was shamed for leaving a negative review, instead of first calling them. I thought the retailer should be the one calling me. Especially since I was clear that the bouquet had to include the orchids. Yet I was the one who is remiss in giving a review? Feeling shamed, I revised my review, to a 5 star, which was not honest. After, my dear, sweet cousin, who is 72, and very ill also lied to me, telling me the bouquet is beautiful. I made the mistake of ordering an arrangement online, specifically the "Exotic Premium" flowers, and what I received was a far cry from what was advertised. Upon arrival to pick up my order, I was immediately struck by how different the actual flowers were compared to the picture displayed online. I have attached both images for reference--the online representation and the sad reality of what I received. When I mentioned to the florist that the arrangement did not look like what was pictured online, she informed me that they were out of the flowers shown. To add insult to injury, after I walked out with my flowers and sat in my car, the florist came outside to ask if I would like to add some white FLOWERS & carnation flowers to the arrangement. These additions do not match at all with what was supposed to be a tropical-themed arrangement, and it only highlighted the inconsistency of what I received. This arrangement was meant for my grandmother, and I can't convey just how important it was to have a beautiful bouquet. The florist's failure to inform me about any substitutions or changes ahead of time is not only frustrating but also inconsiderate. When spending $140 on flowers, I expect to receive something that at least resembles what was promised. Instead, I walked away feeling angry and let down. Door signage posted a 2:00 closing, but internet shows a 4:00 closing time. Nor, does their line have a voice mail. Very unhappy will never purchase another item without looking at it. Hostess will need to return item. Can't believe based on the 3 photos the store finds it acceptable to display and sell. Thought the store had higher standards.
