I called to order a standing funeral arrangement the day after Valentines Day when many of the florists were completely out of flowers. I spoke to Greg who was very helpful and told me that although they didn't have the flowers to do the arrangement I had originally wanted, he said they were able to pick up some beautiful fresh flowers that morning if I wanted to go with a mixed floral spray. He assured me that they would take care of me and have it there for the visitation the night before the funeral (a Sunday). Not only was it there on time, but it was in fact very beautiful and full. If you order, call immediately and verify your order was received. Also, confirm with them their operating hours. I recently ordered flowers for a funeral, received a confirmation and was charged. Day of services, no flowers were delivered. Online it said they're open until noon on Saturday - they closed at 10a. I couldn't reach anyone - to say I was furious is an understatement. Between that Saturday and Tuesday, I called 15-20 times and received no response. I emailed and someone finally replied. What happened? My order was misplaced. They were very apologetic and issued me a refund. That doesn't change the fact that our gift of flowers to our dear friend never made it to her. Happy they fixed their wrong (daysss later) but I will not be a repeat customer. Just verify your order, call them immediately until you get a verbal confirmation don't just assume your order is confirmed once you receive an email confirmation. *UPDATE: I called the shop once again and finally received an answer from Greg. He said the refund would go through in 5 days and asked what I had a problem with. I told him the below. He talked over me, was dismissive, rude, condescending, kept saying I LET you speak now you will let me speak, he had already read my Yelp review, said that I was lying, they have owned the shop since 1965, it is a longstanding policy of all florists to leave flowers with neighbors of their choosing if no one answers the door, etc. This is really how you treat and keep a customer, Humble Flower Shop.* Ordered flowers for my mother for mother's day. Rather than leaving them on her covered porch in the shade the delivery woman left them with a neighbor across the street. I called the delivery driver immediately and said that was not acceptable, leave them at my mother's porch. She said she was already back at the shop and would have to go back. I said ok, go back, get them and deliver them as requested. I tried calling the shop directly and it is just a constant busy signal. I received a message from a Helen at the shop and she said contact her on her cell phone. I called and she is not accepting phone calls and there was no way to leave a message. I called the delivery woman back and she said their policy is they do not leave flowers out unless it is extremely cool outside and if they left them out the flowers would die and wilt. This "policy" was not disclosed prior to purchase and I don't see it on their website. You are delivering flowers in southeast Texas, we never have extremely cool weather. And how do you know what kind of relationship people have with their neighbors? If I wanted the flowers left with a neighbor I would have said so in the special instructions. I am beyond dissatisfied. I demanded a refund and she said she would have to check with Helen when she gets back to the shop because they are extremely busy for mother's day. They ruined my mother's day surprise for my mother. This supposed policy of never leaving flowers at the intended address should be made adamantly clear PRIOR TO purchase. I needed 50 purple roses! I had been in contact with another shop for 2 days && the day of they said they didn't have enough roses in that color. They referred me to this shop && all I can say is wow!!!! AMAZING customer service! The arrangement was beautiful, even though it was on such short notice!! The flowers were beautiful they looked so bright and alive! Mrs. Helen did a beautiful job! It was more than what I expected it to be! My mother cried when she received them! Mrs. Kristen was very helpful and super patient with me! ...I was being very picky this day! LOL she even sent me pictures so I could see before they delivered. And she personally delivered and waited until my mom got home to give them to her! So grateful for these ladies! They made my idea come to life! Having formerly been in the flower business for 15 years, I like to deal directly with flower shops instead of using one of the floral delivery 800 services. The day I called Humble Flower shop I was on a bit of a time crunch as my daughter was only working a half day. I spoke with Helen who took the time to advise me what the nicest flowers that she had available that day. I decided to let Helen create a designers choice arrangement which she made up fresh and had delivered within just 2 hours. The arrangement was not only beautiful but was a good value for the money. My only complaint if there could be one is that the enclosure card was missing my signature. I would definitely recommend and use Humble flower shop in the future read more

The person that took my order was pleasant & seemed knowledgable. I requested a pic of the completed arrangement and it was sent. For the $99.00 spent I was totally underwhelmed. The delivery was prompt, as I expected, as it was the closest to the recipient's address that I could find. This shop is part of Teleflora so I called them directly and asked Greg if he had everything to make the Zen Artistry arrangement. I was told yes, so I placed the order and paid for the deluxe version. The arrangement that was delivered was similar only in that it had the orchids, bamboo and palm leaf. The arrangement didn't reflect the Zen style, the vase didn't add to the arrangement and all the other flowers were substituted with other flowers that didn't reflect the style. I called and spoke to Helen, she told me she would be happy to pick up the arrangement and I could call someone else to make it. What a disappointing experience. read more

I am a hard customer not to please and they did a remarkable job messing up a simple anniversary present. Do not use! I called the day before, ordering flowers to be delivered to my wife's workplace on our anniversary. It was made perfectly clear that my wife was going to be there between 6am-2pm. They showed up to deliver them at 2:30 when my wife was gone. I was chastised as to why the flowers were accepted by her coworkers! Then I was under the impression that they were going to credit back my credit card due to THEIR NEGLECT in getting the job I PAID FOR done accurately. next thing I know "Linda" is picking up the arrangement from my wife's employer! Linda was extremely rude and disrespectful on the phone even after it was apparent the mishap was from their end, NOT MINE! They successfully, ruined a special anniversary moment for my wife and lost a customer in myself. If you want to give your money to someone who has the attitude that "they are doing you a favor" and you are not a valued customer, go right ahead and give them a call. Florists are a dime a dozen and there are definitely enough to value your business. My only regret is that I am unable to give them zero stars!! read more

Originally selected the date for delivery to be the same as the date of purchase. Experienced some technical difficulties on my end, and when completing the delivery info forgot to change the date of delivery from the prompted one to the desired one. After not hearing anything from the recipient, I check my purchases order and caught the mistake. Made a phone call and asked if I could have the delivery date change to the desired one. Call taker was able to explain to be that it was kind of a last minute notice ( was 2 o'clock and I need them to be delivered before 5) it was two days before Valentine's and they were very busy. But assured me they would try their very best to get them deliver before 5, since the following day was completely booked. Well a little of a hour late I get the confirmation from my special someone they received their flowers. Awesome customer service, have used this florist shop previous times without any issues, (until today which was my fault) I will continue to conduct and trust this shop with my future business. read more
