I called ahead of time before making over an hour drive each way to this store to confirm they had an item in stock. The employee said it was in stock and would hold for me, drove over an hour to find out it's been out of stock for weeks!! Employees suck. No compensation offered or anything. And their spiders are suffering from bad molts. Horrible. read more

I've shopped this store for over 6 months. Today I ran into Brandy. For clarity, I ran into Brandy AFTER I passed Steve (the manager), at least 2 cashiers (1 who I asked to get help in fish). Ahhh, fish... that's where I encountered Brandy. Without all the details and explanations I was instructed by Brandy to "put on a mask and if I didn't have one there were some up front." When I explained to her, from more than acceptable social distance, why I couldn't wear one, she advised me to "not come back into the store or send someone else to shop for me, next time." Well, in the midst of a crowd of people, I saw 2 children and elected to be polite to Brandy. I wouldn't talk to her like she addressed me even if we had been the only 2 people in the store. Upon leaving I spoke to Steve, the same man I had come by coming in. He told me that without a mask I would need to maintain social distance. Which I did and he was understanding and cool about it. When I called corporate the guy told me (laughing) to go in and ask if Brandy is there before going in. Ha! We had a chuckle. Now I wait for Carol, a regional manager to call me. The call center felt that would be a good idea. In the meantime, PetsMart and a family owned pet store are across and down the road. That's where I'll be shopping for my aquatic needs. **Update** I talked to Carol. What a pleasant conversation. She was very attentive, understanding, and made me feel like my concerns were heard. I came by with my rat terrier to get a nail trim. The groomer rolled her eyes when we came in. I asked if she had time to do a trim today..."(Sigh) Yeah, I guess so...have you been here?" No, but we'd been to the Chenal location. "Okay, well, that's not here. Do you have her paperwork? Her rabies paperwork?" I responded no, but she has a current rabies vaccination tag (and they have her paperwork at the Chenal location). "Well, I need her paperwork or to talk to her vet." I just said, that's fine, we'll go over to Chenal. She rolled her eyes and huffed. I'm curious as to why they hire these lazy, rude, DNBs for grooming at this location? We took our dog in for training, and completed the basic class. He was a recent rescue, and needed to move on to intermediate, so we signed up. Unfortunately, covid arrived at the same time, so we were unable to attend the intermediate class. We had already paid for it, and were never offered a refund. We will not shop or do training there again. read more

Received a wonderful A+ groom from Rachael at the Benton,AR location for my wired hair terrier, but am VERY disturbed/angry that Petco has decided to raise the price of buffing the dog's nails from $5 to $10, PLUS the cost of $10 for the actual nail cut, hence $20 to cut nails!!! (charging $5 should not be done!) No excuse for increasing the price as there is NO additional cost for what they have done for $5! Nothing is needed to be sent from China and have a tariff cost attached...just blatent price gouging. I plan on not returning out of principle. I will also get my dog food from another on-line supplier. Lost my business all for $5 after a couple of decades of using their services and products read more

I've been taking my little Munchkin to Melani and the ladies for several years now. They do a great job and love on my Yorkie as soon as we come in. Making an appointment is very easy, by phone or online. They have much more extended hours than the smaller private individuals and 99% of the time, they get him in the next day or the day I ask for. read more

Dead fish in tanks. There was nobody in the fish department somebody from the dog department tried to help us. She was apologizing. They said to bring our receipt and we could get our money back on the dead fish and bring the fish back. All the other fish we bought were living in my tank but the Neon Tetris weren't. We bought 2 sets in 2 days and they all the Neon Tetris were dying at the store or died hours later the tank at home. When I brought the fish back the a cashier said she needed a water sample before I could get money refunded. (Was never TOLD I needed a water sample) The 2nd set I did get my money back. But was giving a hard time about it. I only got my money back because I had to push the issue. (PETCO YOU JUST LOST MY BUSSINESS!) Your staff needs to be better trained in order to provide better customer service. They stand around talking instead helping customers. And for the cashier wearing the dog collier she was (VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL) What happened to the 100% satisfaction?? read more

I took my dog to be groomed and they told me they nicked his leg in a small spot. They said it wasn't an issue and my dog seemed fine. When I was able to get home and look my dog had a 2 inch gash on the back of his leg. It ended up getting infected and I had to keep it wrapped up and medicated for a couple of weeks. They never cut his hair how I ask and were usually late to open the grooming part which makes me late for work. I don't have many more options in Bryant but I now will take my dog to Little Rock. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! read more

If I could give them less than 1 star I would! I have a 2 year old dog that has been groomed since he was a puppy. We recently moved here and are not familiar with the area but he needed to be trimmed so I made an appointment. We dropped him off this morning and get a nasty phone call over 4 hours later telling me to come get my dog that he tried to bite her. My dog has never tried to bite anyone. We get to the store and my poor dog is trembling in a kennel. She had trimmed 3 legs and his back. She told me the general manager told her to get the dog out of the store immediately and wouldn't let her finish him. When we get him home one of his legs is bleeding and she didn't even mention that to us. I understand that it was a new place for him but we take him out in public all the time and he loves people so I don't know what happened in that place but it is obvious they terrorized our dog. I will never step foot in a Petco again. I have already called another groomer and explained the situation to her and she tells me this is not the first time she has heard of this from Petco Bryant. I am so sorry I put my dog through this! read more
