I dropped off my six month old…read morepoodle to be neutered and the vet, Ashley Stephen's nicked his urethra during surgery , after his return home I noticed he was have trouble urinating and took him back to the office at that time he was in critical condition and the front desk was more worried about money than my baby. I paid them $800 as requested before the vet would see him. The vet who was there was filling in for the above vet she was on vacation. Very helpful and did all she could to save him. After 4 days his bladder ruptured and I had no choice but to euthanize him as he was in so much pain. An autopsy was performed the vet Ashley Stephen's had nicked his urethra causing his death. I truly believed that as stated by the owner they would do the right thing but now it's turned over to their adjuster to review and that person wants me to submit all records and bills and explain why I want my money back. You would think they( the clinic) would provide all records , the adjuster wants to verify I have a valid claim. They killed my baby. And this is the second puppy I've had die under their care. Well never again and if the burden of proof is on me fine I will do what is necessary to resolve this issue. Ashley Stephen's called me a week and a half after returning from vacation to offer me her condolences....seriously and stated she had been meaning to call but had been busy. Again with the BS of asking what they could do for me . When I told her same thing I told Dr. Brian silence. They were busy circling the wagons to try and cover up her negligence for her to call. You can really tell they're not only great at and love their job, but that they also love the dogs they work with. Before they opened I really struggled with finding a groomer that really knew how to properly give doodles a "teddy bear cut," but Rock Dog nails it every time. They're also very communicative and always let you know if they need to make adjustments to their groom. (For example - one time one of our dogs' tail was super matted, so they let me know before they had to shave part of it down. They ended up giving him a pom pom tail and it was SOOOO cute!) I wouldn't trust our boys with anyone else!!

The medical assistants will come to your car, complete any paperwork, review your prescription and dosage info, take your payment and say goodbye. This non-personal approach creates a social contact barrier, lessens Q&A interaction and promotes indifference. This vet's protocol is similar to a Sonic Drive through. Don't waist your time trying to develop a relationship with the doctor or administrative staff. They just want your money.
