I am so impressed…read more We were both worried about using a dog trainer and letting them take the dog for over a week after the experience we had in 2012 with Marg the dog trainer. Tip Too K9 had the dog for little over a week. He is part hound so he is stubborn to say the least. He came home better but did not want to really listen. The trainer came back out to their house the next week and worked with him again and worked with my daughter and her husband. Again he did better but not quit well and constant. The trainer came back out and took the dog back to keep and train more for over a week again. All this was included in the original cost. Yes the original cost was not cheap but is is well worth it because they keep working with them. Not tacking on more charges. They help you get true results. They brought the dog back home today and the trainer worked at the house with the dog and my daughter for over an hour. Want quality training, people who love what they are doing, love your baby. After getting to the car, I noticed blood on the seat and that he was licking his paw and unusually quiet. I took him back inside immediately, and they applied powder and said they "probably cut the quick." Accidents can happen, but what was upsetting was that this was not disclosed at pickup. There was a significant amount of blood, and I had to discover it myself after leaving. Transparency is important when it comes to our pets. Additionally, we were not happy with the haircut, as it appeared uneven and not what we expected. We hope they improve communication with pet owners in the future.

I had thought that the new dog was my problem but when my sister in law took custody of him he had no issues with her dogs. Then I assumed my existing female must be the problem. Jen explained to me that my energy was causing the fights and negative behavior between the two of them. She also helped me to understand that not every dog is the right fit for every home. She also helped me to understand that I was not going to be capable of keeping my energy in the place it needed to be to make it work safely with both dogs. I can tell Jen is extremely knowledgeable and she made me feel very comfortable with my decision on the dogs. She also was more than happy to talk with me even though I wasn't booking any classes or services at the moment. I'm pretty sure that's not the proper way to train with a herm Springer prong collar. I am new to dog training so I went one or two more times.
