But he treated my girl and between the two of us she got well. I had an emergency with her and rushed her to him and he took care of her. I am sorry to see the negative reviews. I take her to him every three months for grooming and a checkup. He is very encouraging about her well being and takes good care of her. And the price for this is worth it to me for his expertise. I don't think his prices are too high. As a new bird parent I need his input so that I know I am doing right by her. If I call with a question the receptionist will go ask him and relay his answer to me. I have no complaints about the service I have received and knowing that he is there for me and my girl gives me a sense of peace.

Previous vets my lil guy would go to-he would be forever shaking and just a blundering mess and unwilling to calm down. Here, he wasn't afraid and would settle down pretty fast. They've taken great care of him through a variety of older dog issues... From teeth cleaning, teeth pulling to eye issues. I never felt that they would over do things.... Like some vets will go to the extreme of the spectrum, charging you an arm and a leg, to find out what's going on with your dog. Over here, they start with practical steps in order to help what ever issue your animal is going through. My experience at this office has always been wonderful. They do book up pretty fast (from the times that I've called), but they always try to accommodate patients...I always appreciated that. Oh... And... In the event you're looking to get your pets teeth cleaned, ask about their dental month where there is a bit of a discount. I know it sounds relatively silly to have your pets teeth cleaned.... Take it from me and 5 pulled teeth later from my lil guy :( ... Save as many teeth as possible! (... Although... he does thoroughly enjoy the introduction of canned food to his diet!)

My five-year-old dog gets Cytopoint injections two or three times a year and has had probably 20 or more injections over his lifetime without incident. At this office, a tech took him into another room for his injection and returned saying he had tried to bite her three times. I was then told he would need to be sedated for all future visits, including routine exams. I was shocked. This dog is not a biter and had never reacted this way to an injection. When I asked if I could be present for future injections, I was told absolutely not due to "liability issues." Since I wasn't in the room, I can't say what happened, but something clearly went wrong. I switched veterinarians, and he has since received injections without any attempts to bite. My new vet also allows me to be present during injections. What finally prompted this review was a neighbor telling me about a remarkably similar experience with her dog at this practice. According to her, when she called the office to follow up, she was told they had employed a tech who was "rough with dogs," but that person no longer worked there. I'm deeply upset thinking about what may have happened in that room. Based on my dog's history before and after this incident, I have serious concerns about how his injection was handled and about the lack of appropriate oversight. I hold the practice responsible for the care provided by its staff. I deeply regret taking him here.

One of my sheep got her foot stuck, so naturally her instinct was to flop onto the ground and break her leg. Cotati Large Animal put a cast in her which she managed to slip her leg out of. So they took the cast and split it length wise which we then used as a splint. She couldn't get out of it and she made a full recovery. We had a ram with really bad horns that would curl and grow straight into his eyes. Trimming them is a pain in the ass, and it had to be done constantly. Then we had the vet come out for hopefully a permanent solution. Well he just trimmed those horns a lot shorter and they never grew back. Then just recently we one of our ewes gave birth by didn't pass the placenta. The vet came out to our farm on a Sunday, gave antibiotics, did an ultrasound, and checked her out. She's doing well now and we just need to watch her closely. This place is a life saver and these vets are heroes.
