The office and staff were great- While I never actually pay attention to the receptionists (they aren't the ones I'm there to see) her assistants were marvelous. They scheduled appointments with my referrals, called in my prescriptions to the pharmacist and answered any last minute questions I had. I'm going to schedule with Dr Eppele from now on.

Last year I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and she put me on an ACE inhibitor. It helped lower my blood pressure, but I developed a cough not long after. I looked up the side effects and noticed that cough could be one of them. I brought this up to Dr Mikhail and she said that since it lowered my blood pressure, I should stay on it and prescribed me allergy medicine. The cough continued for months. When I would bring it up again she prescribed me more allergy medicine and told me it couldn't have been the ACE inhibitor since I said that I coughed more at night. The cough got worse earlier this year and I repeatedly told her the allergy medicine wasn't helping but she kept prescribing more of it and dismissed me. After months of little sleep from coughing all night, getting the side-eye from people hearing me hacking in public, having my throat raw with pain and a general decrease in quality of life, I got fed up and made an appointment with a pulmonologist. He diagnosed me with bronchitis, switched me from the ACE inhibitor to Amlodipine, and gave me an inhaler and nose spray. Within a week the cough was gone. It's annoying that Dr Mikhail misdiagnosed me, but what infuriated me the most was her gaslighting me and ignoring my complaints for MONTHS. I really wanted to like her but I'm never going to her office again.

They've lost documents we needed filled out on several occasions, mixed up appointments, loudly gossip with patients in the waiting room, and today even refused to fill out our daughter's medical history so we can register her for school. They claim we were "terminated as patients" for complaining about the missing vaccine..but that was never expressed to us at any point. While it's true, we immediately changed our primary care physician following the vaccination debacle, the kids haven't even seen the new doctor yet..so how is she supposed to know our medical history, or even have access to our records since doctor Mikhail's offIce never got around to sending our records to the new doctor? There are plenty of other reasons I do not recommend Doctor Mikhail, but those are more due to her personality and style of practice, so I won't bother mentioning them here. There are plenty of other highly rated doctors in area, so I suggest doing a little research before making an appointment here.

I would not recommend Dr. Morgan in the slightest. After two memorably negative encounters, I've decided this is a pattern and will be finding a new PCP. When coming in for an office visit, it's really not appropriate bedside manner to be reaching for a hug each time, nor does it inspire confidence to see notes haphazardly scribbled everywhere. I wouldn't normally judge the latter but it adds to her negligence. The first of two: I came in because I had gotten 3 repeat infections of whatever lung viral/bacteria illness I was dealing with in a matter of weeks. I was concerned because I was an otherwise healthy, active, young individual. Albeit, because of chronic asthma, I am prone to bronchitis and other lung complications. She did not even inquire about my symptoms before writing me off with "allergies" and Claritin. I expressed my concerns and she just kept saying she wouldn't worry, even though I had an uncontrollable fever among other sx. No tests, no examinations. I continued to suffer for a few more weeks after that pointless appointment. The last straw was after I'd come in for a minor concussion. Again, before welcoming disclosure about my own symptoms, Dr. Morgan took the floor announcing that she reviewed my chart (not sure what this was referring to as I'd only provided a brief description for "reason for appointment") & was certain I "did not have a concussion." Having suffered a few in the past, I'm familiar with them & know I had one, but she didn't even inquire or examine ANYTHING before concluding otherwise, seemingly out of thin air. At this point I had to self-advocate for what I was experiencing. Surprisingly, she suddenly said I needed a head CT, despite having almost dismissed me as having no concussion. She refused to write the letter I'd originally come in for after I declined CT. She prevented me from getting services and recommended imaging for a mild concussion she initially said I did not have. No self-rating pain scales, no cognitive/physical evaluation. No agency. Instead, she tried to subject me to unnecessary radiation and costs and delayed access to the treatment I actually needed. She does not listen and takes a very dated & authoritative approach.

Unfortunately my primary care (Kaiser) would not fill out paper documents that I needed for school admissions and so I had to seek out physical exam services outside of insurance. Once Alex understood my situation, she asked me pertinent questions just to make sure that I did not come in and end up having to spend even more money. Fortunately, all I needed was the physical exam, as I had already done the necessary labs. I was able to get an appointment within the week!! I usually have to wait a month with Kaiser - but again I do that because they have been my primary HCPs for years and have all my records. Dr. Marianne Mikhail whom I was seeing, was so sweet and understanding. She was not rushed and calm doing my physical exam. She asked me what my school admissions were about and read my form twice to make sure that she answered the questions correctly. Honestly, with the healthcare in America as it is, I was pleasantly surprised.
