I don't know how to tell this but I will do my best! So, we booked this New York City Horse Carriage ride on TripAdvisor as we were making plans to visit NYC from London. At first, we were not quite sure that was the right thing to do, booking a ride in a place so far from us at a Christmas time seemed little unrealistic. Yet, worked out pretty well, I have to say well beyond our expectations. They were very coordinative, keeping us informed at the right times. When we finally, made it to NYC and it was time to take our ride, someone from NYC Adventures texted our driver's info and our meeting location. So, we met Gamze, a lovely curly hair young lady. We were pleasantly surprised to have a young female driver for this kind of a tour, but it made perfect sense for a city like NYC! Our ride through the park was extraordinary. It took around 50 minutes with couple stops to take beautiful photos. Gamze also "educated" us about the park and the city, but don't worry about the word "educated", she was also as entertaining as informative. I told every friend in New York to take a carriage ride, if they have not done it yet!! I believe such activities are what make a city THE city. read more

We came to New York for the first time to see the lights and do some sightseeing. we booked our excursions through the app. it was amazing. they kept in touch with us. gave us exact instructions on where to meet and where to go. we went to the 9/11 museum and although it such a sad and hallowed place we were very impressed with the museum as well as how easily we entered. no standing in long lines. the second thing we did was AMAZING The Horse and carriage ride to see the lights was beautiful. it's something I've always wanted to do Onar was our driver and he was awesome pointing out various sights along the way. even though it was raining it did not disappoint in any way. they kept us informed about when the driver and where he would pick us up . I have had the pleasure of many similar experiences, but by far our ride with Louis and his horse Dante, was indeed the best! Louis was extremely professional and knowledgeable, providing just the right balance of commentary of the various points of interest and allowing us to enjoy the peace, charm and ambiance of Central Park. He made several stops along th 60-minute ride, allowing us to actually exit the carriage to explore further the area and take pics, which was a definite differentiator to other tours I have done before. Dante was extremely friendly (and smart)...he seemed to actually pursue and enjoy being petted by us and various people we would engage when we made the stops. I booked the Romantic Horse-Drawn Carriage ride by NYC Adventures to propose my girlfriend in an unusual way and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! They were very helpful in coordinating the ride, including the photographer -Denis. It worked out pretty well, I proposed on Bow Bridged and Denis -who was taking our pictures secretly until then showed up once I proposed and took excellent photos of us. We celebrated the moment with a sparkling wine, which is included in the ride, and a bucket of beautiful rose -also provided to us by our nice, informative, and friendly driver Luis. This was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The company that we booked with was definitely the best. I say this because this is something that I do 2 to 3 times a year with my niece and nephew. So far this company NYC Adventure was the best. They reached out earlier and provided the all the necessary information regarding the meeting location, address and the driver's name and phone number. Which was exactly important because when you get to the meeting location it's so hard to find out who is your driver and so on. I think this is one of the best ways to see Central Park while you enjoy your time. We traveled from TX for a few days and was looking to have some fun while wandering around in the city. Then, I came across horse carriage rides and was excited to try it with my girlfriend. So, I just booked and online ticket from NYC Adventures. The rest flow seamlessly. Our journey through Central Park on a carriage was simply extraordinary. Fun Carriage Ride Experience in Central Park Fun experience and great for small kids. Our guide was very nice, but I wished for something a little more formal and "special." We were sort of standing around waiting for the other group to finish up and unsure when the guide was ready for us at the start, and we felt less "special" than we hoped, especially considering we had a very excited first grader with us. Really relaxing tour round Central Park. Clean carriage and warm blanket was useful in February. Colm and Ende were very knowledgeable about local celebrities apartments and film shooting locations and were willing to stop for photos as needed. Only downside was that it would have been significantly cheaper to walk up and ride, than to book in advance and there was plenty of availability off season (although probably a very different story in summer) read more

Rauf was an amazing person, horse carriage operator, and guide. He was full of knowledge on Central Park and the surrounding area. He has a very warm and welcoming attitude.
