We immediately felt welcomed the second we walked in, and the environment felt like a safe, comfortable place. Our therapist, Miss Kaileigh, was non-judgmental, extremely friendly, and discussed what she thought the best plan of action would be. Miss Kaileigh quickly became my daughter's new best friend, and instead of my daughter dreading her therapy visits, she was SO excited each time to attend. Not only did Miss Kaileigh work closely with my daughter teaching her about food and nutrition, but she also worked closely with me and gave me ideas that I could do at home. We were a team. Within a few months of attending therapy, I could see positive changes in my daughter's eating habits, her level of energy, and most importantly, she was gaining weight and was excited to eat! After a few months, Miss Kaileigh recommended my daughter to see their Occupational Therapist, Miss Marisa, to help with sensory skills, fine motor skills, and visual motor skills. Each week, my daughter would work on these different types of skills and activities, and in no time, she was able to go on a swing, complete obstacle courses, and tolerate different textures. Much like Miss Kaileigh, Miss Marisa quickly became my daughter's other new best friend. When it came time for my daughter to graduate, it was a happy and sad moment. Happy, because she finally did it! And sad because that meant we would no longer see these amazing therapists who became like family to us! If you are (still) reading this and are considering AZOPT Kids Place for your child, you should stop looking and call them immediately. All the therapists and staff are so caring and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. I can confidently say that coming here and seeing these wonderful therapists saved my daughter's life, and I know they can change yours for the better too!

At the time I was living in Glendale and my doctor referred me to two different physical therapy groups in the area. I went as directed and was very discouraged and disappointed with the outcome. The pain relief if any was minimal. Then we moved to Prescott and I was directed to API physical therapy and Matt as my therapist. The difference was like night and day. Complete lack of respect for patient's time, Twice, showed…read moreup on time for appointment. We had to close up our own business to get to appointments. We are a family owned investment and asset management firm. We have our own obligations and our time is valuable Just like anyone else. Both instances at least 10 persons in waiting area and on one instance there were also 5 to 7 waiting outside in overflow. Asked front desk staff, "are appointments running on time?" answer, "there is one physician here today." rather than admitting that appointments are not on time and providing a potential solution such as rescheduling or giving an approximate adjusted timeline to be seen so we can make an informed choice. Since there was no accurate or credible information provided and we had already closed our business that day, we reluctantly continued to wait it out. First contact with Richardson was at 1hour and 7minutes after scheduled appointment time. On intro there was no apology or acknowledgement that he was late. He quickly proceeded through the consult. We believe he was aware of our displeasure with the wait time since he shifted his tone with us.He appeared frustrated and angry in our opinion. When a suggestion was presented to call us next time in advance knowing that appointments are running over an hour late he appeared even more angry again not acknowledging or addressing the late appointment. We are disgusted with the complete lack of respect and arrogance. How simple would it have been to have just simply said, "I understand you have waited over an hour past your appointment time and we apologize for the delay". Although the surgery services are most likely good here anyone should highly consider other services available that may have more respect for their patients' time and know how to run a more efficient flow of business. We chose to not return to this practice for their services and have already gone through the necessary surgery with rehab through another credible and professional practice. Friendly staff, respectful, on-time, and an efficient flow of doing business.

I have now "graduated" to the attached gym and weight room. It was through the guidance of Debbie, physical therapist, that I was introduced to low impact machines/weights that will help me strengthen my knees. I found the gym associates to be very friendly and right there to help you on any machine. My husband and I are fortunate to be able to use the facility free of charge because of our insurance benefit called Silver Sneakers. We are really going to enjoy using this facility-clean, friendly, and filled with machines that fit the bill!
