I've been to a number of physical therapists over the last few years to rehab from 2 different shoulder surgeries for a torn rotator cuff tendon. I will attest that Brit and Chris have an amazing facility here in Prescott- the best I've found either in AZ or CA. Their attention to detail and focus on patient well-being is second to none. Their approach is both friendly and professional with the entire team working together for each patient to make sure they continue to progress and improve. That approach extends to the office staff that greets you when you arrive, particularly Annika. The facility itself is bright, clean and spacious ensuring there is plenty of room and equipment for multiple patients to rehab at the same time. To be honest, I was NOT looking forward to physical therapy, but after the first session, I looked forward to the second. Very warm, friendly, knowledgeable staff, who truly care about your healing progress, I knew I was in good hands, and I felt encouraged to keep up with my at home exercises, which I did and the results have been very positive. Peterson Physical Therapy on Iron Springs Road has been outstanding! I have owned Athletic Clubs in the past that offered physical therapy and I have found that all the modern machines they have to be ideal when you get older and can really benefit from a well-structured routine moving from one machine to the next to hit all the exercises needed to rehab any part of the body. I have been a professional trainer all my adult life. I have found out the hard way as I got older that every unnecessary injury I caused myself, while younger, while believing that I was invincible, has come back to haunt me big time! I have really started to make progress in their clinic like never before and I am so grateful to their therapists who have helped me so much and with their customer service when I had to cancel a session because the pain was too debilitating to attend. They have never penalized me or charged me a non-show penalty or fee, like most other medical clinics, but rather just moved that session to the end so that I could get all that I could out of their professional help. What an outstanding team of professionals. They have guided me through a serious multi-injury accident. They have been instrumental in my healing and a return to 'almost' normal physical activity. I still have a way to go, but they rehabilitated me out of a wheel chair and walking again! They worked with my broken shoulder and now I have 100% arm mobility. I have had the greatest experience here at Peterson PT. Everyone who has helped me is just terrific, and each visit improves upon the last.

After an accident, major surgery ( with 6 rods in right foot) and non weight bearing for 4 months, Brit Haws and the other PT's orchestrated a plan and guidance for my foot to get back to some normalcy. The facility has all the equipment I needed plus aquatic therapy pools ( which really helped me ). Along with the Physical Therapists and the technicians at the facility all were knowledgeable and caring. The plan seems to have worked out because now I can put my weight and walk on that foot. They were really great and if in the future i need to use a Physical Therapy facility again, they will be the ones that I call. Five stars and all the thumbs up you can give. read more

Chris Legler has helped me through a knee inury, a toe ligmant issue and now intense lower back pain. He is always so patient with me. He knows I love CrossFit and doesn't give me grief for pushing my body a bit farther than it wants to go. He has also helped my family. One daughter has extremely flexible shoulders (seems like a good thing but not so much) and my other daughter struggled with hip flexor problems. I've been to several physical therapy clinics in Prescott area, and Peterson Physical Therapy has impressed me the most. The physical therapists here are extremely knowledgeable and really make you feel like they care about you. The physical therapy, combined with stretching, heat and electrical stimulation, massage and traction is more than I ever expected for help with my hip and lower back pain. Everything from the time I spent with the receptionist on check-in and insurance, to the time spent going through the different exercises and in therapy has been smooth. There is hardly ever a time when you are waiting for directions on what to do next. While you do get help with the tech assistants, the room is set up so the therapists always have eyes on you and are quick to intervene if needed. The help I have received from Peterson Physical Therapy has been remarkable.
