Pete's is back! They were gone for a long time during Covid, I am so glad to see them back! They did move a bit from their original location (like 400 ft away), they are on the corner of Arch and N 33rd St, on Arch St. The people are super nice, good value for the money. Like all the food trucks, the prices did go up a 0.50-$1 post Covid.

I highly recommend this early bird service if you're looking for 6:00am breakfast. We were catching an early Megabus so we were so glad to walk 3-minutes for our breakfast. I ordered an iced coffee with cream, a bottled water and a hot sausage, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. My niece ordered a hot chocolate and a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. All of that costs $12!! AND the coffee was 5-star, the hot chocolate is delicious, and our sandwiches were cooked fresh, served hot, and wrapped to go. Best food truck near campus and the Jefferson St/30th Street Station.

Bacon, egg, cheese, and hash browns on a bagel with saltpeppaketchup. OH YESSS.

Pete's is a gem in University City and it's so surprising to me that not too many people know about it outside of Drexel students. This food truck is by far one of my favorites and it never gets old. I think their slogan should be, "coming to the rescue of hungover college kids on the daily." But actually. The bacon, egg, cheese, and hash brown on an everything bagel (with saltpeppaketchup, of course) is an absolute game changer. The lady who runs the truck is always so friendly and kind and if you're a regular, she will remember you and your usual order. Around lunch time, this place gets pretty busy and a line starts forming around 11 AM. They work very quickly and efficiently though, and I don't think I've waited for more than 15 minutes. On the real though, I'd probably wait even longer and not even be mad about it because it's just THAT good. Part of me wants more Penn students and other university students in the area to find out about this place since it's a pretty life changing experience...but at the same time, it'll make the lines at lunch even longer. I'm okay with it though, because they certainly deserve the business! So next time you're feeling a little down and in the mood for some yummy comfort food, venture onto Drexel's campus and stop by Pete's. You won't be disappointed!

The bomb.com. They know my order as soon as I walk up and are so friendly! You can't go wrong with any of the food options. While the place is cash only, they are now using an app which you can pay online and order ahead.

The service was fast and it's like a cafe style where you order yourself then they bring the food to the table.I loved that the drinks and chips and dips were affordable. The ordering system is fairly straightforward with screens at the entry showing the full menu, and further down 2 kiosks to place and pay for your order. If you order alcohol (margarita or beer), you need to present ID to the employees after placing the order. They run a very reasonable daily happy hour from 4-6pm! Today I tried the special (fish taco) and was blown away by how well the taco was cooked. The fish was tender, not overcooked, and very flavorful. The accompanying sauce, slaw, and other toppings were light and balanced the fish perfectly. I'm not a huge fan of fish tacos, but this one might convert me! I also ordered an old staple, the tuna dip, which was just like I remembered. My only disappointment was the margarita didn't come with the salt rim I ordered. As a fast casual concept, it's great for takeout for locals or tourists from the art museum area!

We ordered a Pulled Chicken composition and Philly Cheesesteak Sammy on the way out of the beer den after purchasing a 4-pack of home grown suds. While the Belgian Tripel went of $23, the amazingly tasty sliders were boxed expertly for $8 for a deuce, prepared the way you want it. Ample sauces, peppers, onions, relishes and melty cheese to beat the band. When we arrived home five minutes later, we broke open the grub and brew at the kitchen table and went off devouring the solids and guzzling the liquids. Really, the Stuff'd Bunz were terrific; plenty of flavors and textures to entertain the tastebuds, and leave you wanting more. Strong BBQ base under sours and sweets and crunchies, held together by something that reminded of a potato bun. Even the mock Cheesesteak was a big chew hoot and a half. Gooey cheese over finely chopped beef, with onion mixed in. Not the Prince of Steaks, but a damn good facsimile. Washed all that down with the expensive amber ale, and we were sated, if not poorer for the experience. When Covid is defeated, I look forward to hanging out at the bar and enjoying the wonderful repast to the fullest. Until then, takeaway is the only safe way to go.

I know what this is, this is a friggin Philly Block Party ! This is Night Market that invaded Callowhill St. in Northern Liberties like U2 did in "The Streets Have no Name". When Philly does a Night Market nothing come close to anything you've ever experienced. NYC, D.C. Bean town, you guys are second rate compared to this block party of all blocks parties. Man I do love these types of festivities that Philly puts on every year. This being the second Night Market event this year, this was a whole new venue for this area. Northern Liberties got a taste of what 2 and a half blocks of 70 food trucks, beer tents of Yards and so forth keeping the masses well hydrated and fed. A stage set up playing some of the local flavors that can be heard by Vine St. Expressway. Boom now this is a friggin party! Now if you haven't found anything to satisfy your curiosity from Mamma's Meatballs (Spicy FTW) to homemade Waffles completely covered in Nutella or chicken, even pork belly, down to that famous Mac and Cheese truck. If you haven't found anything at one of these, then I don't know what to tell you. Banging Taco and Empanada trucks , to Korean BBQ that will make your eyes open to a crab cake so big you'd think you're on the Deadliest Catch. Night Market is the perfect set up for neighborhoods to shine with the surrounding business , eateries and watering holes to get recognized as you walk the streets. This is a foodies exercise basically, the gym is there to prepare you for these types of events/festivities every year. Perfect way to train is to walk with the hoards of the hungry on-goers that over flow the streets. (P.S.) Use the sidewalks to maneuver around, that is the best advice I can give you for the amateurs , the untrained.

All my favorite trucks were there: mom moms polish truck, which I drool over their Perogies and Galumpkis. The Mac Mart truck which I'm in love with their creamy cheesy amazing Mac with the best toppings, and totally worth the super long line. The tot cart, although I feel the cheese was a tad skimped this time, and the cheese curd truck. I tried some new things this time: the Arepas truck was really good, we tried the guac & chicken, the beef, and the pork. I loved the Bluecoat Gin tent.. I didn't remember seeing them at the last night market, so that was great. And the Cider guys with that delicious 10% dry cider is amazing! My only complaint is there were much less beer tents than south street, so the beer lines were so long it deterred me from drinking at all. We ended up going into Prohibition tap room for beers cause the lines outside were just way too long. Get more beer tents!! But overall, amazing event as usual!
