I was looking for a breakfast that I knew would taste good but would be quick so low and behold...I came back here. I don't have much to say except I really enjoyed my food. I even added spinach to my sandwich and there was no issue with it! Plenty of restaurants compromise on food quality because of demand but I'm very grateful that they don't! I didn't love my lemonade but that is a personal preference I think others would enjoy it. I also got a pastry and it was just okay. Overall quick quality place to grab a bite!

My new favorite post workout spot. Bagelicious $11 (chive onion cream cheese, arugula, avocado, tomato, red onion, cucumber, sprouts) was a healthy bagel that was filling but did not leave me feeling heavy Chori-crunch $13 (spiced chorizo, scrambled eggs, cheddar, hashbrown, avocado, jalapeno, picked red onion, cilantro, chipotle aioli on brioche bun was delicious! The spice level was good for me. The guy at the table next to mine ordered the same thing. He took a bite and commented to his friend how spicy it was and got up looking for water Rose Blossom Oolong $5.50 (oolong tea with rose and steam milk) was something unique. I crave this from time to time. Wish there was a larger size!

First impressions: very cute and cozy. Plenty of seating and well lit. Service was quick and polite. You can order off the kiosk and the food arrived quickly and efficiently and our order was correct The noms: I ordered a chicken salad with the sauce/dressing on the side... and it was very filling and fresh. Perfect serving size and the food was delicious. In Conclusion: would def come here again... the crowd was chill and the food was good. Great spot for causal dining, work lunch, meeting up with friends

Fresh, colorful, and satisfying with great service and attention to detail. The Garden Veggie Wrap was packed with crisp veggies and a generous portion of hummus & avocado. The Hibiscus Lemonade is refreshing and delicious. Great portion sizes, cost effective, and everything tasted great. Definitely a loyal customer of take out and delivery.

    Veggie Cheesesteak

Freakishly good veggie cheesesteak! I only wrote this review to applaud the cheesesteak. It was loaded with ingredients, not messy and full of flavor. It's actually hard to impress me when it comes to a plant-based cheesesteak but Cafe Square One got the job done. I've had other takeout items from here in the past but nothing ever "wowed" me. The inside was clean and there always seems to be people dining in/working at the tables, which is nice because that tells me this place gets a good amount of foot traffic. I ordered on the self service kiosk and my order was ready in about ten minutes. They also provided a reusable bag. Don't sleep on this place!

This is one of my favorite cafes to get work done and people watch. Everything I've tried from here so far (the butterfly pea lemonade, beetroot latte, and the green goddess breakfast sandwich) have all tasted amazing. Service is fast and welcoming and they keep the seating areas clean and well maintained.

PHENOMENAL!!!!!! One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in my life The Choripan was bursting with flavor. It was spicy, salty, and rich. The jammy egg and avocado brought things together with a creaminess. I wish the pickled onions had a bigger punch, but that was minor. I couldn't put this sandwich down as I was eating it. Pictures do not do this justice

Came by for an early bite on Tuesday morning at 7am. It was so convenient to order on a tablet. There were so many variations of breakfast sandwiches and burritos. The bagel bacon sandwich was loaded and the jalapeño and spread gave it a good little kick. I had a brown sugar latte which was really good. The coffee was strong and not at all biter.

We were visiting Philly not too long ago and we really enjoyed Cafe Square One for a quick grab and go breakfast! The cafe is your typical cafe with a few places to sit inside! I liked that you can order on their kiosks and customize your order to your liking! You don't see that everywhere and for someone who has a lot of food restrictions that was a plus for me! My husband ordered the choripan breakfast sandwich and I ordered the eggceptional breakfast sandwich and both were DELISH! If you like spicy then go with the Choripan! You won't be disappointed. I absolutely loved the house made spicy maple pork sausage in the eggceptional sandwich and the chipotle ketchup was such an amazing addition! Next time we are in town, we are planning to go back and try their lunch sandwiches which look just as delicious!

My favorite cafe left me disappointed!! I am a regular here (the beef bulgogi wrap is to die for!!) but unfortunately they were out of it today so I decided to explore the rest of the menu. I ordered a Greek wrap and it really lacked flavor. The sauce was lacking and I felt like it needed a little something. Will certainly be going back, but might just stick to my usual order

My eggspanola on brioche was good- quite a heavy sandwich with a small kick of spice from the aioli. They are busy and so don't expect handholding or much interaction. It's ordering on a screen. Cute decor and clean interior. Just FYI all pickup/grubhub/uber eats orders are placed on a small shelf in the back corner. I had a pickup order and was waiting awhile for it- I finally managed to get someone's attention to ask about it. I got snapped at that it was back there. Understand people are busy but maybe put a larger sign or put the shelf with pickup orders closer to the front.

This is a very healthy place to grab a quick meal. The menu is pretty simple in description and options are plentiful. All of the chicken is grilled, the bread is very fresh baked and all of the ingredients are super fresh. The only glitch I found as a first timer was ordering from the touch screens. It seemed like there was too much with not enough directions from the menu. I was glad that it was not too busy so the counter help was able to assist me. Well worth the tip for helping me place my order. The Firey Philly Cheesesteak was absolutely the best thing I have tasted in any Philly in Philly. It is HOT! The Chicken Caesar Wrap was loaded with fresh chicken and lettuce with a sweet Caesar dressing. The Buffalo Chicken salad was huge and very fresh but not as unique as the other food we ordered. I loved that everything was super fresh and the service was very quick. I would definitely return and I want to try the Cuban panini next time.

Not tough but a nice, soft seeded sub roll. Seeing it arrive was a little overwhelming but I kinda thought the thing was light and was easy to finish off 1/2. The Fig and Pig - the fig jam was outstanding. Great sweetness with the saltiness from the prosciutto and then to top it off, the crunch of the cutlets. Excellent. As I was leaving, I saw a cutlet, with mutz, broccoli rabe, and roasted red peppers. I WILL be back for that. That looked amazing. Service was very friendly, prompt. We sat down and within a few minutes, our sandwiches came out. Looks like they were working on takeout / delivery orders and I thought, oh crap, am i behind all of that. But I guess they were either done or they prioritize the tables. Place was small but at 2:30 or so, it had a couple of tables open. They had tables outside but a little warm and in the sun for that. Well done, Liberty Kitchen!

Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Cost to worth it rating: 3 Opentableable: no reservations Return worthiness: yes! Eve awards best cheesesteak of my life--still thinking about it Highlights: - The bread: a soft long roll with sesame seeds was a delight I didn't see coming. - Meat: was lightly seasoned but kept its pure flavor. Most cheesesteaks have such bland meat so this did it right - Cheese: melty coopers cheese was perfectly mixed in. - Onions: just the right soloing if grilled onions mixed in to complement the meat but not overwhelm it. - Size: monstrous! You can easily share (but you may not want to). - Fairly efficient: even with long lines, put your phone number in the kiosk, can pay with credit card, and wait til you are texted to pick it up. - For the whole family: my cranky teen son said it's the best thing he ate on our 23 day summer East Coast trip (including lots of great dining spots around Philly and NYC). Lowlights: - Waits can be long and brutal in heat. We got lucky with a shorter line. - No seating: just an ordering counter inside so many are eating out on the sidewalk.

They serve you fresh waster (Drinks to order include Hanks, Boylan's, Harney and Sons, Teas etc.) and will serve you at the table or you can walk up and order at the counter. Their menu has a great mix of deli, steak, "chicken" steak, meatball, sausage and cutlet sandwiches with interesting flavor combos. You can also get breakfast (till 11AM) or a salad. They also have sides that include - tots, fried pickle chips, onion rings, fries, fried mozzarella and Zayda's pickle spears, chips and cherry pepper shooters. They have a couple of vegan options and GF rolls for extra $$. The staff was more than happy to give recommendations and their favs. My first lunch was The Eye - $15 Ribeye steak, Cooper Sharp American, fried onions came on a seeded Liscio's roll. If you enjoy the somewhat newer Cooper sharp style that's out there you'll like theirs. The Cooper sharp was gooey, mixed in well with the meat and on the heavier side. The ribeye was thin cut, delicious and the portion was pretty hefty. Second visit I went with - The Nad - $15 Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, Mike's Hot Honey that came on an unseeded Liscio's roll. The portion size was good, chicken was fresh with good breading, the hot honey was a tad on the heavy side, but the flavors all came together pretty good on this one. Sweet, salty, light bitterness from the arugula and some heat from the hot honey. I added Thin Cut Idaho fries to make it a combo for $3 extra and I have to say they were delicious. They smelled like McD's and tasted similar. They are cash only, but have an ATM on site. You can use a card if you order online. The one bathroom they have was pretty clean and organized. I will certainly stop back for a visit if I'm in the area to try out more of their menu. Thanks guys!

This is far from the traditional banh mi, not so much due to the meat choice but the fact that the vegetables take a back seat. This is also a soft hoagie style bread instead of the crusty French bread that usually houses a banh mi. Still an enjoyable sandwich nonetheless.
