I have found that he is not one to put making a profit ahead of sincerely just helping someone in need. I was in need of plumbing service but did not get to have Pete repair the problem. This was solely Pete's fault. Today, while convincing myself that I am handy, I quickly found out that this was never the case while trying to make my own plumbing repair. I just had my old washing machine removed to make way for my new one. This is when I found out that my cold water faucet did not shut off. I called my trusty and reliable plumber of almost 25 years who is now retired. I told him about my problem and he recommended a local plumber. I called the plumber and made an appointment for Friday afternoon. The plumber never showed up and didn't call. I researched online and came across Pete's Plumbing Repair. He had very good reviews and I when I called Pete answered. He asked if it was an emergency and I told him no. I told Pete about my faucet not shutting off and that the cold water faucet was close to the hot water shut off. I texted Pete a picture and he made an appointment for Monday morning at 10am. Pete came on time and went right to work. He had the faucet changed and did such a nice job, I asked Pete to change the hot water faucet too. Pete was friendly, on time. He worked clean and neat. He also gave me some nifty tips about my new washing machine hoses, my dryer vent, and something to help keep my pipes clear without hurting them. Where do I begin. I must of called Pete for at least 5 different occasions on plumbing services and I thank god I did. I recently purchased a home and have some remodeling done and needed some pluming work. I called Pete and within the Hour he was there. He helped me with my issues and when I asked for advice on other thing he was more than willingly to answer any questions I may have. He is honest and his work shows for it. He is very professional and knows what he's doing. He will even educate you on things and give you proactive measures to keep your system clean and in working order. He even explained how he fix things so in the future I would know what to do and how to do it if the issue reoccurred. I had a sewage backup in my basement. Called Pete in the morning and he was able to come that same day. Not only did he diagnose my issue and snake my line but he walked me through the ins and outs of maintaining my steam heat as well as the general health and maintenance of my whole house plumbing (I am new to my home)! It turned out that I unfortunately needed some additional work beyond the scope of what Pete offered, and he recommended me two different professionals that have so far proved to be top notch. After leaving messages with multiple recommended plumbers and getting no response I came to Yelp in search of a plumbing saviour and after reading the reviews I decided to call Pete and do you know what - Pete actually answered the phone! He promptly arrived the next day and got straight to work. He replaced my leaking kitchen faucet, replaced the corroded shut-off values, replaced my outside faucet (which wouldn't shut-off) and loosened the inside shut-off valve which had rusted open!! peter has been my plumber for over 4 years and he is honest, reliable and i can always reach out to him when I need advice! i wouldn't use any other plumber ever!! He installed 2 new sump pumps in my basement as well as new burners for my boiler. He also snaked out my bathroom and kitchen when I had a really bad clogged drain. When he gives you a time he'll come he is always on time and when he fixes anything it's fixed and done!!!!! He is also very reasonable with his price. You can put trust in this guy. I have to say. Pete is the best at what he does. My wife and I bought our house a little over a year ago not knowing there were major plumbing issue's with the house. We've tried many other's that were very expensive, not very knowledgeable, and didn't even care about their customer's and questions they had.
