Then for my son's 1st bday party I wanted cupcakes with something from the Incredibles. They came up with printed edible sheets on top of the icing. And then recently for my son's 4th bday party we asked for a lightning McQueen Cake. While cartoony we didn't have crazy high expectations and my son loved the toy on top of the cake. The ordering process was simple and Marchessa is timely in giving her response. The cakes come in 8", 10" rounds with options for buttercream or fondant with a few charges for customized things like the bear in the photo. The pick up process was easy and smooth as well and our order was ready by the time we had agreed on. The cake was aesthetically beautiful! Gave Marchessa and photo as an inspiration for the cake design and her cake came out wow! The cake also survived being picked up on the morning of the 15th, a 3 hour drive with subpar air conditioning because my mini van could not blast enough cold air to possibly maintain the ideal cool temp for a cake and about another 24 hrs before we could cut and serve it because the kids were already so tired by the time we got to the resort and the kids had been swimming. When it was time to cut and taste the cake, everyone raved at how delicious the cake is! The cake itself was moist and tasty. The buttercream was the perfect sweetness and pairs perfectly with coffee! The 10" round served 16 people and that was just half the cake because the slice is big enough for 2 people to share! Then the cake pops! They were crafted and shaped meticulously and were delicious. The bear cake pops we ordered tasted like brownies!
