So delicious and slathered with butter We actually stop on the way to the airport and get at least 2 dozen of Honeybee's rolls for the flight home. We used to get only 1 dozen but I've never made it back to Cali without at least one passenger bartering for a few.. it's become a thing! fresh, buttery rolls on a plane is the adult equivalent to getting to stop at McDonald's for a Happy Meal on the way back to school from a doctors appointment; you're literally king for the day! My favorite barter-to-date is a few visits ago when our group was all separated on the plane. The ladies I was sitting next to ordered me a buffalo chicken wrap and a mimosa in exchange for a dozen of my precious dinner rolls ‍ Long story long, Honeybee's has not only made my visits to Tennessee even more special, they've pulled off making the long flight home fun too! I am for sure a lifelong fan!!! I'm so happy Honeybee's was able to not only survive during the pandemic, but become exceedingly popular! I went in about 845 and they said it would be about a half an hour before the cupcakes where ready. So I came back an hour and half later. I got a cherry cheesecake cupcake and a red velvet cupcake. The cherry cheesecake was disgusting. It tasted like synthetic cherry. Like I was actually eating a cherry car scent mixed with candy hearts. The frosting on both were the same cream cheese frosting but they definitely needed to add more cream cheese because it was way way too sweet. Went in trash. Red Velvet cupcake itself was tasty. But these are regular size cupcakes and not worth the price. Was $5.22 for 2. I have worked at 2 legit bakeries and both of them we have to get there a minimum of four hours before opening to make sure we have all the product baked and set out. If not... That's how you lose customers.

There was additional bag and blue ribbon wrapped for the carrot Bundt cake which I felt was a waste. Normally I would just eat half of the Bundt and save the other half for the next day. These were too delicious to not eat in one sitting. My spouse had the classic carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. I had the new fashioned marble Bundt that had small chocolate beads inside. I would definitely order from this location again. It's such a simple but tasty treat!
