We exited at Baden and found this somewhat unique Shell gas station with a Circle K associated with it. I am accustomed to seeing Circle K at Esso gas stations. There are only four pumps so it can take a little while to fuel up during busy time frames. There is a Subway sandwich shop and a Tim Hortons within close proximity of the gas station, making this an ideal stop for gas and food.

So I pressed the call button...again and again and again. So after a couple of minutes I went into the store and asked for the pump to be reset. The girl behind the counter told me to go to another pump. When I expressed my concern about the $50.00 out of my account, she dismissed me and accused me of being rude to her. I got her to sign my receipt and write "had a problem with pump 5". If you think I won't be getting a bank statement right away to make sure I didn't get ripped of, you are mistaken.So much for pleasant customer service..very disappointed.

They just changed over to chip readers in their pumps, and since…read moreI've been noticing they will often give you Super gas (The most expensive) when you explicitly chose the cheapest gas. When you complain they will either tell you that you are wrong, or try to tell you that you must have pressed the wrong button by accident. Neither of those things are possible - the pump I used clearly said the cheapest was selected but the price was charging was for the most expensive, and I've been pressing the same button for years with no issue, until the new chip readers were installed. Either way, they won't even take your complaints seriously - they may be scamming lots of people but either simply don't care or it's intentional.

My debit card from an American financial institution refused to work at the pump, but it was a few steps inside to verify that it would indeed work after I pumped the fuel. Upon going to the automotive counter to pay, an older fellow I'm guessing is the manager told me the store is closed. I didn't say anything and he said it's car drop off only, there are no tills open. I was a little miffed, but didn't say anything, and turned to put the charger back on the shelf when this fellow yells at me "DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYING TO YOU!". So I yelled "CAN I PUT IT BACK". At this point he looked embarrassed and walked away. I went home and ordered over night shipping on a charger from Amazon, and I'll shop elsewhere for a while.

These workers are a scam are try to get innocent people to pay twice for gas. This is my normal gas station and I needed gas a week later so I stopped and paid at the pump this time. I had a call from the police saying I stole gas a week ago and the worker creeped me and got my license plate!! I have to now show them my banking for proof!!!!! I have to show them my personal info???!!!!! This place is a joke!!!!!! I have the transaction paid in my end so where is their proof? Poor customer service!!! They won't show you receipts! The workers can't even speak English and they harassed us infront of customers demanding we pay or the police are going to be called. I work in London and I will make sure this story gets shared.
