I thought I was doing a good thing by switching up my usual places to take my son. Being autistic,he doesn't necessarily like that sometimes. That being said,he has been to the Iron Skillet a few times on Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays. The buffet is closed now,but the food should still be good from the menu. I've eaten at many,from coast to coast being a long haul truck driver for 29 years. Accident free by the way. I don't know who they hired to cook,but maybe he's not the guy. Hamburger steak had as much flavor as a piece of burnt cardboard. $17.99 for what? I'll pass. Had to send it all back. Cut our losses. Went down the road. I'm not sure I'd come back for another meal or not. The traditional holiday meal wasn't that good last Christmas either. If you can't find a good cook,close it down. Bring in a Mexican restaurant or something. Seriously. How do you serve food like that?!?! read more

I have yet to checkout the inside of this place, but the gas is always consistently cheap and its even Shell gas at that. I ALWAYS try to end up gassing up here on my drives between Virginia and Florida. I occasionally take naps in the well lit parking lot when driving gets to be too much.LoL read more

I stopped here on one of my road trips to use the restroom. When you're traveling, you can only hope and pray the stalls are clean and not looking like they're a part of a crime scene (Lol)! Thankfully, the stalls were clean! I can appreciate that the bathroom was spacious. We were able to use the restroom, get gas, and get something to eat all in one stop. What more could you ask for?! Great for professional drivers! Really good food, movie theatre, driver lounge, store, barber shop, showers and laundry. The fuel lanes were amazingly clean, the lot was very large and clean as well. Plenty of parking and reserved spaces too (which I love!). If you have breakfast here I recommend the buffet, so good and lots of fresh fruit. read more
