I love this place. It's always my halfway point from where I left to where I'm going. It's safe to use if you need to stop for restroom or if your hungry they have a IHOP, Wendy's, Baskin Robbins for a sweet snack after breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have a sale table right when you walk in with clearance items of foods coming to date or items they probably couldn't sell as fast or much as they expected. The staff here seems to change quite often. Or maybe I just happen to see new people everytime I come. To be fair I usually am here after midnight hours so I can't be 100% about the staff but they are all nice and the restrooms are always clean. I'm glad they updated the kiosk machine for the games to coins because before you had to buy a card and use that. It was a hassle. The games are 1$ per play and they do drop most of the time before it makes it to the drop slot. Which sucks but it still does allow winners. The vary last machine gives you 2 plays for the price of 1. They have shower here and laundry room for truck drivers or anyone who needs to shower and wash. The parking lot is usually very clean and the grass very green I feel safe everytime I stop here. Even on my way home I stop here instead of a place on the other side of the freeway because I just love it so much more. The 24 hours it's open is very convenient and I truly recommend this place to anyone who needs a safe, friendly, place to eat, rest, shower, walk your pets. Or whatever the reason may be. read more

Who would of thought you'd get mouth watering Pork Chops inside a gas station/truck stop? Whelp, it's true... These bad boys were extra juicy, fresh and piping hot. The mashed potatoes were pretty basic and made with potato flakes I believe. The consistency was OFF. The Mac N Cheese left a strange, lingering aftertaste. That being said, I just ate one Pork Chop and saved the rest for the hubby. I paid 17$ for 2 Pork Chops, Mac N Cheese, Mashed Potatoes and a slice of cornbread. The Price is pretty steep compared to a year ago. For the same meal it would cost about 14$. Next time I'm here, I will probably just get the Chops and skip the rest. If you're traveling the grapevine north or south, this is the place to stop. I stop here for everything - gas, food, and restrooms. They even have a hotel nearby. It is also the safest place to stop. It's huge, well lit, and near a CHP station. There's no danger here. Also, there are so many food choices. The center itself is well stocked and has CLEAN restrooms. I've never been disappointed. Staff here is very friendly and accommodating. They are always cleaning and stocking this place. Ive never noticed anything out of place and I appreciate that on my road trips. read more

After a really long drive and general traveling, it was SO nice to be greeted with a cheerful and cute bathroom...inspiring actually that anyone would go the extra mile to create a welcoming place that was relevant to the upcoming holiday: Valentine's. Made me feel so happy that I made sure to pick up any trash that I saw on my way back to the car. I also felt compelled to look around the store to see if I could support the local economy by buying any specialty food they may have. This place has my favorite bathroom along the 5 freeway! The bathroom is spacious, seasonally decorated (adorable), quiet, peaceful, and always impeccably clean. It's in the back of a sizable convenience store with a huge variety of snacks and drinks, fun/quirky trinkets to browse through, and very friendly staff. I've drive the 5 freeway between LA and SF regularly, and have for nearly 9 years, and I honestly look forward to stopping at this bathroom. Who says that?? read more

Like every other reviewer, it's a great place for a pit stop to fuel on gas, grub and bathroom before hitting the Grapevine and headed in LA! There is everything here, very unexpected. There's a McDonalds, Starbucks, Wendy's, Yogurtland, Iron Skillet, Subway, Baskin Robbins, Subway, Chevron, Panda Express, Del Taco, Chipotle, and In and Out! It's better than being in San Leandro, there's way more stores and food here. All the fast food that I love and crave in one place within SHORT walking distance! Lots of gas and parking and fresh air, places to sit, places to pee. It's got everything all in a bundle. I've decided that on our trips to visit my sis or any trip up the 5 freeway longer than 4 hours, this will be our pit stop, especially if we have the puppy with us. This is by far the best gas station convenience store I've ever been to...and I've been to some doozies! The bathroom is super clean, even decorated for the seasons, it smells good and is fully stocked. They have a great selection of everything you could possibly need on your trip, although all I've ever bought was ice cream for my kid, and water. They even have what I imagine are locally made dried fruits and trail mixes. There's a grassy pet area with poop bags and a trash and that is very helpful/useful. The employees are very friendly and there's just an all-around good vibe in the place. Like I said, this is our stop there and back from now on! read more

It looked like I'd stepped into a bathroom in a fancy hotel lobby! It is beautiful! Tile and stainless steel and plenty of stalls. Included a changing table, too. The small, yet spacious store had a lot of variety and was well stocked. Coby, the store associate was pleasant and polite, although he looked a bit disheveled. This is my favorite Petro, ever. First off, the location is great with Starbucks, Chipotle, and several other food options nearby. The inside of the Petro is usually clean and the staff, especially those who tmclean the showers, are very friendly. This place is great for a 10 or even a 34-hour reset because there is just so much within walking distance. The area also seems very safe and we've never had trouble here. The best thing about this Petro has got to be the truck parking. You could come at any hour and find a good spot. There's always pull through spots too. This review is only regarding the Iron Skillet diner. We were stuck because of the mudslide closures and had to go here... In hindsight we should have risked starvation. The buffet was the most disgusting slop I have ever personally experienced. I could truly not stomach more than one bite of anything there. My son ordered off the menu and waited nearly an hour for questionable French Toast and runny, bland scrambled eggs. The service was horrible and rude, it was filthy and clearly they knew we were all stuck and couldn't leave. No one cares when I complained. The cashier smiled like it was funny. Never eat here, never eat here...if it is an emergency leave your car and walk somewhere else. read more
