Eye doctor appointment. The Care Quality is always great and they make sure my eyes are always good.read more

I am officially done with AdvantageCare Physicians. After my primary doctor switched locations, it…read morehas been difficult to find another doctor that demonstrates care & professionalism. This review will be about the 447 Atlantic location, as it was the worse location that I've visited. For starters, the ladies at the front desk are extremely rude, unkind and almost do not even want to speak with you. One of the ladies at the front desk was asking me to sign documents through the kiosk, however did a poor job at telling me what I was signing. When I asked clarifying questions, she responded with an attitude and then started to speak low, so it was even harder to understand. Finally, after I decided to treat her with the same attitude that she was giving me- she decided to speak a little louder, but was still incredibly rude. Then, the nurse practitioner Ojeyemi is JUST as rude and unprofessional as the lady in the front. As soon, as she walked in- she introduced herself and almost did not want to treat me. I went in for an issue that occurs randomly. however was occurring while I was in there. I asked the NP to check it out, as it was occurring and she said "I will check it out in a minute"- the minute never came because she did not check it out. Instead, I left with several recommendations for painkillers and muscle relaxers, despite me repeatedly explaining to her the reasons why I did not/could not take those medications. I was overwhelmed by this experience, while also being in discomfort and I started crying- the NP responded "aww you're crying" and proceeded to type on her computer and FREQUENTLY CHECKED HER MESSAGES ON HER PHONE. The NP even played a message that she received WHILE I was describing my experience. Finally, I walked out of there with a prescription for a painkiller, test referral and a referral for another location. My insurance was billed, but truthfully- I am not even sure that the NP even understood why I was there or honestly, even cared. This place has ZERO QUALITY OF CARE and ZERO INTERESTS IN TREATING HUMANS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING MEDICAL ISSUES. The best experience was the tech at Quest. Wow! She was incredible! I wish I knew her name because she truly deserves a raise. She was so professional and even took the time to explain things to me. I wish that I could have recorded my experience from the walk in to the walk out because I believe that all of the employees at the Primary Care unit at this location should be retrained, focusing on professionalism and empathy.
