I've been bringing my dog to Pets in Paradise for years. I really got use to Jacqueline and Taylor grooming my dog. Her last groomer was Dana. Once my dog came home super short and cut uneven. I called to speak with the owner she never got back to me. Last time I took her in Nov she came home with one bow in her hair looking crazy. I asked why the one bow they said that's all the had. Again called the owner age never returned my call. Finally in Jan when I knew I had an appointment for my dog I called to see what day it was. They put me on hold and the owner came on and said I emailed you did you read it? I said I didn't read anything. She told me that because I had multiple complaints about the grooming that they weren't going to see my dog anymore. I was livid. If they did what I asked them to do the first time there wouldn't have been any complaints. Bad business. The owner should have called me and not emailed me. read more

Please do not go here! I noticed my puppy's genitals were red and inflamed due to razor burns and they didn't even inform us! We took him to the vet the day after, and the vet had to give him meds. The place has grown since my last review, but I have only taken my dog to Debbie, because she does such a great job. I had a scheduling conflict today and they let me drop off my dog a half hour early so I could keep the appointment. As usual, my dog pulled me ac cross the parking to get in. My fav groomer! My dog is a senior. He's bougie and likes to be comfortable. He loves going to PIP! They have great specials and are reasonably priced. They truly take care of their customers and go above and beyond every time. My dog had some skin issues and they made sure they took extra time to keep him fresh and happy. The only downside is how popular they are which means remember to schedule in advance. Highly recommend the spa packages. My baby comes back smelling like blueberries! read more

We've taken our Wheaten here several times with perfect results. We now have a 4 month old Cavachon, Sully. He was groomed for the first time on Sunday. This is a first class grooming business. Both dogs were well cared for and looked amazing. They follow the pet parent requests to the letter. The salon is peaceful and well kept and the groomers are all talented. I took my dog to get a haircut here the other week. We were a new client and we were greeted by Carrie (I hope I am spelling her name right) at the front, who would be cutting my dog. To be perfectly honest, I had a very tall order for her because my dog is pretty sensitive. The facility was super clean and I felt comfortable leaving my dog here. Carrie reassured me that she would take her time with my dog and go slow so that she felt most comfortable. I was so happy with the way her haircut came out!!! They do okay groom for dogs. I stopped going here since they yelled at my dog a year ago and wanted to come back because I have no time to groom my dog myself. I decided to go somewhere else after reading all the reviews. since it seems like they are still providing poor service to dogs. They are the reason that I started to learn how to groom my dog!! BUYER BEWARE! THIS IS NOT THE SAME MANI PETI YOU KNOW AND LOVE!!! This company changed ownership in November 2019. I had been bringing my 4 dogs (3 Newfis & Pom mix) there twice s year since the original owner opened the doors and was absolutely thrilled with the service, how my dogs were treated and the outcome of the groom. When ownership changed hands in November I (being stupidly loyal) decided to give it a shot since they kept a few of the original groomers and its close to my house. WORST MISTAKE EVER! Took my 2 year old Newf to be bathed, groomed, ears cleaned today. When he came back he looked fine (no bandana like we're used to, but okay). Then I got close to him and realized his ears were filthy and he smelled like dog. For any of you who have used Mani Peti in the past you know how good your pup smells after they get done grooming there. This lead me to believe he had been clipped but not bathed so I called to speak with the new owner. I was told that she wasn't in but they wanted to know what I was calling for. I told them that my dog had just come back from being groomed and didn't appear to have been bathed. The girl on the phone told me she knew for a fact that he had been bathed because she bathed him but she would have the owner of the store call me back. 4 hours later I got a call from the owner. I explained to her what the issue was and she assured me that the dog had been groomed and she watched video tape of him being bathed. I asked to come down to see the video and she said no. I am telling you guys he was not bathed. He didn't smell like any kind of soap at all. He just smells like dog. When I brought up the issue of his ears, she advised that teeth brushing, nail clipping & ear cleaning are a free service as well as Cologne that they apparently spray on the dogs (which I didn't know about) and that if they didn't want to use it or to do the service that they didn't have to. So basically , sometimes they do a complete groom and sometimes they don't, all depending on if they want to or not. She then told me that because her groomer was offended by my complaint that I would no longer to be allowed to bring my dogs there. Now. I think you have to understand that when I called originally I was not offensive. I was not accusatory, nothing like that. I just brought up the fact that my dog didn't smell clean and that I thought he hadn't been bathed. Apparently, because I made a complaint & only because I made a complaint, I am no longer allowed to bring my dogs there. All this because the Groomer was offended. This is definitely not the same Mani Peti that I've been going to for the last 4 and a 1/2 years. There are TONS of Groomers in Marlton. From now on I will be taking my dogs to one that completes the Service that Im paying for and is secure enough in their business to handle complaints in a Professional manner. Well..this is an update to my first post, dropped my dog off yesterday. Owner not in..told the staff my issue from the prior visit etc. Went to pick my dog up when they called..still no apology..still no call from the owner after saying I found the customer Service and follow up terrible ..didn't get my regular groomer as requested ...go figure. Well this woman cut my dog under her front right leg. All scrapped up, inflamed. She was a nervous wreck. Never before, the regular groomer..he rocks. Well this is the last I will ever set foot in this place..how can you not care? Why am I giving this place more stars then they should ? So yelp doesn't bury the review as the tend to do...I give them 1 STAR really. This is how they treat customers? I wonder personally if they care about my pet...just sits uncomfortably at the back of my mind. The Universe works as it should..I hear today about a great place In Bordentown...we will see. I brought my golden doodle there having recently moved from the Midwest. It was critical to me the groomer had experience with and understood how a doodles cut is very different from a poodles. I even gave her specific direction on how to cut from my prior groomer. Well I cried when I picked him up. He was cut just like a poodle. Please be very specific about how you want your dog cut when you bring your doodle here so you do not leave with a poodle. read more

This place always does the best job with my Bichon/Yorkie mix. They use a nice oatmeal shampoo as well so he's not as itchy. Only thing I'd say is he hates it but I'm not sure if that's the breed or they're a little rougher (because they have to be to get the job done right). I brought my dog here for the first time and it was a fantastic experience. The girl who answered the phone to schedule the appointment was well spoken and polite. My dog is normally nervous and anxious when we used to take him to pet smart, but at pets in paradise he walked in confident and happy. The atmosphere there is just different. I'm not sure who cut my dog but he turned out great! I think it is the best cut he has ever had. He is a Bichon but we don't get the normal Bichon cut. I like him shaved low but not too low, all over, with his ears just trimmed. They told us he would be ready in about two hours and when we got there he wasn't quite finished but it wasn't a big deal. My dog came out smelling good, feeling good, and looking GOOD! All at a fabulous price!! read more

They are nice and do great cuts! however i did NOT like the fact that 2 times i went into this place one of the groomers were screaming at a dog! when my husband and i walked in to get our pup we heard the lady in the back yelling STOP FUC*ING MOVING! she was so loud that the lady at the front desk said to her SOME1 is here! to get her attention and to stop. We went back another time and when we walked in one of the girls in the back was screaming STOPPPP SIT DOWN!!! yelling so loud at the dog. I really like this place and the guy that does our dog..but if it was not for him i would have never gone back in that place and would NEVER have her doing my dogs. I tried many places for my bichon and lab and Pets in Paradise has by far been the best. The dogs look great--my bichon looks like a BICHON and not a poodle like at other grooming salons. Most importantly the dogs are happy to be there and don't fight us to bring them in, like at another local place. read more

For the second straight time I made an appointment well in advance (minimum 2 weeks) for my dog to be groomed. The first time when they didn't have my dogs scheduled appt. in computer I was told there was a new girl and didn't know what she was doing and I can reschedule. When I asked if I'd be compensated for my time I was told no and not even an apology. Over two weeks ago I tried again and made an appointment with the owner Debbie due to there being a high turnaround with groomers (always seems to be someone new). I arrived 5 minutes early to be greeted with "you missed your appointment it was at 2". I was 100% positive of the correct time and even who made this appointment due to my prior experience. I even entertained her rude manner towards me and asked that even if I did have an appointment earlier why didn't anyone call me. Nastier than ever she told me that she was too busy training (which doesn't shock me, again high turnaround). She than came from around desk and said "fine just tell me what you want me to do and I'll cut his hair". Does this woman actually think I'd leave my dog with her? She was nasty, disrespectful and most importantly the worst person to deal with customer service. read more

Staff not very professional or any friendlier than the folks at Petsmart and the grooming (cutting) skills are poor. My dog came out looking like a Bichon or something. Price is the same as other places. I wouldn't go back. My dog smelled like all sorts of perfumes and chemicals when I picked her up. I rinsed her off when I got her home. read more

I had my 2 medium length hair girls done this past week. They didn't get haircuts but had baths, ears, and nails plus nail grinding. Very happy with the results. They both came out so soft and clean. Suzzane, a groomer at the location, cut our dog's paw badly. She did not report the incident to anyone. The first thing we knew of our dog's injury was the bloodstains that appeared on our jeans as he sat on our laps in the car. We went back to location to ask them what had happened. The useless groomer Suzzane said that our dog had been very fidgety, and so she cut him. We asked her why she had not told us about the injury, to which she responded with great anger. She threw our dog on the ground, and kicked us out of the store, slamming the door behind us. Needless to say we will not be visiting Pets in Paradise again, and we implore everyone to do the same. read more
