JoAnn and Steve took very good care of my 2 naked cats, Raisin and Sméagol while I was away on the mainland for two weeks. They came over to my home, fed the cats and gave them attention, while also checking my mail and sweeping the floor. I am so grateful for their services. I had to call them last minute because my friend's roof on her house flew off and she couldn't watch my cats. Joann and Steve came to the rescue and assured me that the cats would be fine. I got daily updates and photos and when I came home, the cats were fine and my house was in order. I would highly recommend their services and will be using them next time I go traveling. JoAnn and Steve are the best. We had never hired a dog service before but circumstances required us to find outside family help. So we found them on Yelp, all the reviews made me at least inquire, of course we were nervous about letting strangers into our home and access to our doggies but talking with them over the phone and meeting them in person was comforting. They are affordable but best of all, they genuinely care for dogs. Best part was JoAnn even sent us daily updates and pics making sure we were aware of what was happening with the doggies. We travelled with reassurance. Steve stayed for 8 nights to watch our sensitive fur baby dog, feed her, walk her, etc. Steve even made a dog food that she ate, she is usually a picky eater. I wasn't able to use their services this time but I wanted to write a review about the amazing service I received from Joann. I sent an inquiry via yelp and was responded to that same day. I wasn't free til after 9pm but Joann still took my call. I had asked about her twice a day dog walking service but after letting her know it was our first time leaving him alone and that he already gets anxiety when we leave the house on a normal day, she spent over twenty minutes discussing with me the different options and recommendations she had to keep Gohan as comfortable as possible, even offering suggestions on other places that might be able to accommodate him. I could tell she sincerely had his best interest in mind and can't thank her enough for her time and true compassion, I know her clients must be happy campers! read more

JoAnn and Steve are wonderful people and that is so evident in their care of our 3 cats. These are indoor cats, so they don't have to be walked, but they do still need love and care. JoAnn and Steve come in twice a day to feed them and spend time in play and and socializing. They always send us pictures in case we miss our kitties. Another very thoughtful thing they do is call at the end of the trip to make sure we got home okay and can take over (you never know when you will have a horrendous delay). My heart broke when my 13.5 year old Lab, Pono, passed away in April. My friend, JoAnn, comforted me through the healing process, provided the reassurance I needed to move on and helped me find and rescue a new pup. Kamakoa is a 7.5 year old German Shepherd that gets insecure around strangers. Over the last two months, JoAnn and Steve have offered me positive training advice, patience and confidence to lead this strong, yet sweet, boy. All of my previous pups stayed home alone during the work day. With this guy, JoAnn and Steve visit, walk, train, and provide love and companionship. They would send videos and texts. They are very thorough with having an exact understanding of both yours and your pet's needs. We use Steve and JoAnn to babysit our pups every time I leave the island. My husband works long hours so the dogs need a midday break. They have always done an amazing job! The dogs love them and they never fail to show up. We've even had a few emergency situations where we needed somebody to watch our dogs at the last minute and they were always willing to help! Jo Ann and Steve are the kindest, most caring pet walkers and sitters we have EVER encountered. They walked and pet sat our two dogs, and when we had to leave to take one to the mainland for treatment they even took a family member to the airport for us. There are no words to describe how thankful we are to have Joann and Steve in our lives. They both exude the kindness, caring, love, compassion, and integrity that I hope my children (human) will have as they go through their life journey. Our previous dog walker (we found out later) didn't actually walk our dog but just took her outside and petted her. Joann and Steve will do a temperature check on our Beaglier (named Hina) and will either give her a brisk walk or go at a slower pace (usually when it's too hot outside). They take their job seriously and are mindful and in-tune with the wants and needs of Hina. Hina also loves and adores Joann and Steve. She gets so excited sometimes she pees a little! LOL. After moving to Central Oahu recently, I was unable to find a reliable, trustworthy person to take my dogs on a mid-day walk while I was at work. Okay, maybe it's just me, but when we dog parents spend 10-11 hours a day away from home, and the dogs are left alone, the day is long and could lead to possible destruction and mischief. A well-exercised dog is a happy dog. Well, I lucked out and met JoAnn a year ago. She was THAT experienced and dependable person that I could trust to walk my 2 overly enthusiastic labs. She was not at all concerned when she first met them, despite my caution, that they were super excitable for the first few minutes. Mid-day walks went without a hitch. Recently, her husband, Steve, joined forces with her and they are a great team. The dogs can't wait for the sound of their car, and are spinning with excitement at their arrival and fun walk around the neighborhood. Ok, I must admit that after their walks with Joanne and Steve, their walking skills have improved immensely. I am no longer dragged through the neighborhood. When I am at work, I have no doubt that the boys are in good hands. Joanne and Steve are super reliable, arriving right on time and leave me my much anticipated notes on the boys' behavior that day. While I cannot comment on the service for this company, since I have not used them, I do feel my one experience with them may be helpful to others. I found this service listed on a professional pet care site and contacted them about my dog. My dog is my baby and I wanted to be sure I left her in good hands while I was at work on the days she doesn't go to play care. At first the lady was very nice. Asked me about my dog, what I do for a living and even told me she used to be in the same field (legal). However, as soon as I mentioned that I spend much of my days serving cease and desist orders in contract law, she hung up on me. Makes me suspect someone is hiding something. We moved out to west Oahu early last year and both my husband and I worked such long hours that we needed a reliable dog walker to take care of our fur-baby during the day. My work schedule is hectic and unpredictable, but they ALWAYS went above and beyond to make sure our pup had her walks (even on days when they were not scheduled to walk her). I could tell that they genuinely loved and cared for our dog, and I knew I had nothing to worry about when she was in their hands.
