Ruth is THE BEST. Rachael, the owner walked me through the process, gathered info and matched us up with Ruth. Ruth also came highly recommended by our neighbors. Our fur baby is very shy, so we hired Ruth to walk her before our trip to become familiar with Ruth. I needed someone to take care of my big dogs while I was on vacation. One is 6 years, 90lbs and the other is 8 months, 60lbs. Both are high energy and I really needed someone to take them on good walks for the 4 days I was gone. I booked with Dogwalkers Etc. and they had me meet up with Kim before I left. She took such good care of my dogs while I was gone. They got walked every day for at least an hour, and she would feed them and give them water. I could see on my Furbo how happy they were every day when she showed up. My family and I joked that the best part of my trip was how good my dogs got taken care of. The form was lengthy, but it showed us how seriously they take petsitting. We were then lucky enough to be connected to Shannon. She happened to live near us in the Ewa/Kapolei area and was available for overnight stays as well as regular walks. We met with Shannon before our trip, got updates and photos while we were gone, and were welcomed back home by 2 very happy and well cared for pups. Leaving our dogs with someone new was very stressful for us, mostly because one of our dogs is an escape artist and our other dog takes several medications. Nicole has been our dog walker for the past year and a half. She walks our two 50-lb mutts Monday through Friday. One is a little nervous around new people. The other has medical issues including a spine condition that we have to be careful with (IVDD). He can also get extreme fear in unique situations due to a traumatic history. Nicole has been GREAT with our boys - despite their issues. She is very attentive to their needs. Though she normally leaves notes, though she sends texts if she notices strange behaviors or medical warning signs. She is also extremely reliable. She has never missed a day or failed to leave a message in all our time with us. She even accommodates last minute changes in our schedule - by doing extra walks when needed. In addition to her attentiveness and reliability, she also genuinely cares about the dogs. She works on their training before giving them snacks every day. She has also gifted them toys at the holidays and when my dog with IVDD was severely hurting and trying to heal. I think the price of walks with Dogwalker Etc is worth every penny. I pay $23 dollars for a 30 minute walk. They don't up-charge for the second dog. My dogs are better behaved while at home because they get this mid-day exercise.
