Im writing this review to thank all the team at PETS for their honesty and empathy during one of the hardest moments I have experienced. I went online and filled out the forms necessary for an emergency visit. When I arrived they were already expecting her, despite it being 4th of July, things moved quickly. Our dog was of old age, not eating, and lethargic. I was expecting that it was likely she was in the middle of passing away, which the team confirmed. The team put me in a room where I could talk with my family and make a decision with them (since I was dog sitting and everyone else was out of town). While the decision needed to be made quickly about next steps, they were empathetic and patient with us. We opted to put our girl to sleep; she was in a lot of suffering. The doctor was so respectful and it was a peaceful process. Thank you for caring for our Chispita. We are grateful for a sad yet peaceful experience. read more

Back in March ... the way our 1-1/2 year old kitty, Thomas, was crying and favoring his left front leg, we thought he had broken a bone. We brought him to PETS Referral Center after our regular veterinary clinic referred him over. Long story short ... after a couple of x-rays, they showed his leg to be fine but his heart was abnormal and likely had congenital CHF which poses more complications. The limping was likely from a blood clot that had broken loose. They gave him an injection for pain and he eventually settled down. We talked about his quality of life and taking him to UC Davis for further tests. They gave us some medication to reduce the chance of his heart developing more blood clots and minimizing further issues. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff was great with us, even when we forgot to bring the CC we wanted to pay with.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Hubby left me in the lobby as "collateral" while Thomas was in the back being taken care of.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were about 3-4 hours there before we all went home. My dog had surgery for a mass removal (grapefruit sized) on her elbow back in May. The doctor that did the surgery did very well and now my dog is back to her old self. Parking isnt a hassle, they have their own parking lot although it can get full quickly since they are an emergency vet as well. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Dr. Mitzi Zarfoss office was one of the most frustrating and disappointing veterinary experiences I've ever had. I went to see Dr. Mitzi Zarfoss with my pet's eye care, but after following the prescribed medication, my pet's pupil became noticeably worse. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Instead of showing concern or carefully reassessing the treatment, I felt my concerns were met with defensiveness rather than a genuine effort to help.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What stood out most was the lack of compassion and professionalism. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I felt dismissed, talked over, and made to feel as though my concerns were unreasonable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As a pet owner, you expect your veterinarian to listen, explain, and work with you--not make you feel uncomfortable for asking questions or expressing concern about your pet's condition.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I left the appointment feeling that my pet deserved better care and that I deserved to be treated with more respect. The experience left me with little confidence in the quality of care or the way patients and their owners are treated in this office. I am writing this review following the loss of my dog, Cooley, after an emergency visit to this facility. This is not written lightly, but I believe it is important to share my experience. When I brought Cooley in, he had been hyperventilating and crying continuously for nearly two days and throughout the night. To me, it was clear he was in significant distress and pain. After checking in, we waited approximately 30 minutes before a technician brought him to the back to take vitals. While he was in the back, I could clearly hear him crying. After about 15 minutes, he was returned to me, and I was told that the estimated wait time to see a doctor was 2-3 hours. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I immediately expressed concern that Cooley might not make it that long given his condition. I was told that patients are seen based on severity, which was confusing and concerning given what I was witnessing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I then went to the front desk and said I was considering leaving to seek care elsewhere due to the urgency of his condition. [[HIGHLIGHT]]At that point, the doctor came out within about 5 minutes. We spoke briefly, and I again communicated that Cooley was not doing well and needed urgent attention.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The doctor stated that Cooley "seemed stable" and advised me to stay and wait, explaining there were multiple cases ahead of us and that they would do their best to get to him. Unfortunately, Cooley passed away approximately five hours later in his sleep, still experiencing labored breathing. I understand that emergency facilities must triage patients and manage multiple critical cases at once. However, based on what I observed and communicated, I do not feel that the level of urgency reflected Cooley's condition or the distress he was in. They really took care of my girl in oncology but she didn't make it. They provided clear expectations on the quality of life for my two elders girls and helped me make the right decisions to put them to rest. Three were at PETs. We chose to bring him here because of our past experience with our girls. For his care here, the vets were evasive and push incredible expensive diagnostic that didn't actually solve the issue. Every single time they just gave him pain meds after blood work and radiology showed nothing wrong. We didn't want to say anything, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dr. Peterson seemed to be on a stimulant or some kind of meds while she spoke to us. She kept repeating the same questions over and over after we answered them and was talking a mile a minute and continously interrupting us. It was jarring[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. She wouldn't refer us to a specialist or internal medicine unless we wanted to pay even more. This is very predatory. Thankfully, we brought him to another facility for the same situation when we couldn't make it to PETs. After gathering records from that office and PETS, this facility called me and sent me a list of internal medicine practices I could take my cat to. They did this without forcing us to come in or saying they couldn't do it unless we did more procedures. They got back to me the same day with his records. This is a stark difference from how we were treated at PETs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]PETs didn't send his records for several days. They spelled my name wrong several times after asking me multiple times how to spell it and continued to say they could help us further unless we wanted to pay more[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. They have become a money-grabbing predatory practice. And I can only say this with confidence because of the stark difference on how we were treated at PETs vs the other facility. I brought my senior lop bunny, Violet, to her for a CT scan and a complex diagnostic workup, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm incredibly grateful for her knowledge, thoroughness and communication[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. She has taken the time to truly understand Violet's complicated medical case, always prioritizing her health and safety. I deeply appreciate the care, effort, and expertise she has devoted to helping my bun. Additionally, Dr. Zarfoss is a wonderful ophthalmologist who also assessed my senior bunny. I also brought my other lop bunny to her for an ophthalmic referral. She performed an ulcer debridement procedure on my bunny's eyes. Dr. Mitzi Zarfoss is E.V.I.I.L in my opinion. Then why did she prescribe them? Dr. Mitzi Zarfoss is a B.A.D eye doctor and she doe snot care about your perts in my experience. We took our dog here for complications after a tooth extraction. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were there for about 3 hours in total, and in that time I was incredibly impressed with every single staff member.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They patiently endured all kinds of rudeness, borderline harassment, and ungrateful treatment from owners who were clearly stressed about their animals.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was very obvious that everyone who works here has the safety and health of the animals in mind, even when the adults are less than grateful. Everyone whose pet was stable was seen in order, which took some time because while we were there they got 2 different animals who required emergency treatment and were immediately rushed back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While we were waiting the staff chatted with us and generally made us feel really welcome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vet was very clear and understanding about what was going on with our dog and we left with the right treatment and medicines.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She is now feeling much better. read more

So I made an appointment to be seen around 1pm, arrived at 12:45. At around 1:40 they took my pet in the back and checked his vitals and returned him to me to continue waiting... around 3:45 I order lunch from door dash because I seen that I wasn't going anywhere. I got called in around 5:30... yeaaaa. They didn't see anything wrong with my pet but for $1400 they could sedate and xray him etc but they wanted me to sign a paper stating if I want him brought back if he dies... ok so I am tired and stress by then... that was the $180 consult, I asked for medication to make him comfortable til I could do next step, well he passed away quickly after. Never did he take the liquid food or antibiotics they gave him... I wish they would have told me during hour #1 that I wouldn't see an exotic vet that I was waiting all those hours for. I have just wasted 6 hours of my life sitting in a dirty lobby to be told that my name was never sent to the back and that it is like I was just checking in! I am so upset right now. It's 2 am and I have just left PETS referral center where I brought my pup because he has an infection and isn't feeling well. I checked in, the lobby was packed. I was told it would be 4-6 hours. I patiently waited. After 5 hours I went to request a status update and was asked if I left and came back. I said no! I've been sitting in the same spot for 5 hours. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The guy said a manager would come out to speak with me. No one ever came.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I caught sight of him in the hall and once again asked when I was going to be called and he said that it was like I was just checking in. I asked am I at the end of the line? He said, technically yes, but I've made the manager aware. About 40 minutes later I went back to ask for another update and was then given some new excuse about being short staffed and critical patients blah blah blah. Oh, but don't worry we'll take your pup back so we can take his vitals and charge you an arm and a leg but you will likely sent several more hours waiting for a doc to see your pup. This is BS! Brought my doggy Toto here tonight as he has blood in his urine. The front desk staff were very kind and the emergency staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and supportive as well. The doctor who saw Toto explained everything so I understood how the diagnosis process and treatment was to take place! They did an ultrasound as well take a urine sample and culture to be sent out to get a more accurate result. Based on the immediate findings they sent me home with some antibiotics and pain meds and told me that they would call next day with an update of the test results which they did! Overall, it was expensive, but it's Emergency after all who are open 24 hours. Definitely would bring my babies back here for emergency care during off hours.! I am heartbroken and extremely disappointed with the care my dog received at PETS Referral Center. A month ago my dog had a lobectomy surgery at this facility. After the procedure, she developed severe and ongoing respiratory distress, and we had to return to their emergency department twice within two weeks. Despite repeatedly explaining that something was clearly wrong, the staff was unable to identify or rule out the cause of her breathing issues. Watching her struggle to breathe day after day was devastating. Within just two weeks after her surgery, my dog passed away. I trusted this hospital with my dog's life, and I feel that her postoperative complications were not thoroughly investigated, not taken seriously enough, and not handled with the urgency they required. Losing her so suddenly after multiple ER visits has left me feeling let down and heartbroken. read more

I came here with our little mix Lucy who had an eye issue on a Saturday. As soon as they saw her, they rushed her to the back and did a diagnostic, found an object lodged in her cornea, removed it, consulted with their ophthalmologist parter practice and came up with a treatment plan. All in the space of 30 min. Truly extraordinary service. Still waiting for them to complete a contrast test to determine if the cornea had been completely punctured. They will also book me an appointment with the ophthalmologist specialist early next week to get a specialist involved. This at a time when the emergency vet closer to me quoted 2 to 4 hour wait. They are excellent no doubt but in this case we really needed her to be seen immediately. read more

I cannot overstate how much I appreciated the genuine warmth and compassion they showed, not just to our animals, but to my husband and me as well. Their kindness and understanding made all the difference. Emergency veterinary care is often a high-stakes balance of emotional stress and financial reality. It can be incredibly traumatic to discern what will truly help an animal versus what might only prolong their suffering. In these overwhelming moments, Dr. Gleeson is a pillar of support. As a compassionate expert, she provided the transparency we needed to make informed, loving decisions that prioritized the well-being of our beloved companions. Having lived in the East Bay since 1999 and cared for many exotic pets over the decades, I can say with confidence that PETS Referral Center is top-tier. Dr. Gleeson and the entire team provided some of the best emergency care I've ever experienced. Their staff was incredibly compassionate during a very difficult time, and the level of follow-up care we received afterward was truly exceptional. I have been loyal to my regular veterinarian for years, but when she went on an extended vacation, she specifically recommended Dr. Gleeson for any emergencies. After my experience, I can see why. Unfortunately his condition was so bad that any interventions would only give him a couple more weeks/months at most. I truly appreciated the honesty involved in this, though I still feel deeply guilty I couldn't do more for him, I could not watch him deteriorate further. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The DVM and tech Zena were so kind given the situation. DVM reassured me that I was making the best decision and was kind enough to work within a budget for humane euthanasia and cremation - this will be my first time being able to bring one of my babies home after saying goodbye.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Zena was a beacon of light, she was so incredibly kind - she saw me sobbing quietly in the lobby and rushed to get me in a room. She spent time reassuring me, let me have as much time as I could take with my guy and gave me a Churu to give him.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was a hot mess, absolutely devastated (still am). [[HIGHLIGHT]]She didn't have to spend time and reassure me, but went out of her way to do so. I think she may have even stayed a tiny bit overtime to come back and check on me once everything was done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She denied being a "nice person," but the kindness and compassion was so genuine. Most "nice" people would never go so far to reassure a total stranger. Despite knowing it was a misunderstanding DVM came out and talked to me and was so sweet about the whole thing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm still really embarrassed at how wrong I was about this, but again, they were very gracious about the whole thing. In contrast to the negative or disappointed pet owners who have posted , I had a pretty good experience early this morning. A bit of a wait because of change of shift but I'm medical and knew what that meant. My big senior German Shepherd dog wasn't freaking out in the waiting room as he usually does any where veterinarian so that was amazing enough. He has wigged out at UC Davis, at another local urgent care and very dramatically at his regular vet's parking lot and office in Moraga. This dog does not like vet settings. He had the painful heartworm treatment before so perhaps he has PTSD. BUT Good competent and friendly experience from the first phone call to meeting all the early morning staff, Leo the tech, and Dr Jennings. Now I know that kennel cough isn't a cough but a dramatic gagging and hacking with maybe a little vomiting maybe a little of this and that. Since my dog has a heart condition and I think a rougher life before being rescued under a freeway, I am a bit of a helicopter mom. But now we are reassured and resting and grateful for the good care, oh and did I mention the reasonable fee??? Thank you, everyone at Pets Referral. read more

Dog was hemorrhaging diarrhea on a Friday night, Saturday morning so in we went. Crowded and they got to her after five hours. Admitted for two nights. I liked the vets, they were professionals. They got fluids into her and on Monday morning said she could come home. Meanwhile, I start leaving messages for doctors or someone to call me. No call backs. Very frustrating cause we have just paid like $4300. Dog gets a little better and in less than 48 hours is badly hemorrhaging again but this time could take to a regular vet since not a weekend. Glad we did not have to return. They still never called me back. Fuck that. Would talk to receptionist and they would say "Oh, we will make a note of that." Me: "You didn't see before that I wanted someone to call me?" Receptionist: "no." Another irritant is front desk staff cutting up with each, in a room full of sick and dying pets. I get you don't have to mope with us but still. Best case scenario is maybe they can help your pet a bit but communication is atrocious. read more

Completely failed to notice my cat's symptoms were neurological despite me telling them they seemed neurological. They sent me home with pain medication and told me he had a slipped disk in his back probably. Turned out to be neurolymphoma. He was dead a week later and I'm very traumatized by it because I feel like I failed him because I trusted pets referral center and gave him medication he didn't need that obscured his declining symptoms. They should have referred him for a scan. I tried to at least talk to the veterinarian who misdiagnosed him so badly, failing to check vitals like pupil reflex (he had gone blind) and yet telling me vitals were normal when they weren't, so I could know she understood she had made this grave mistake that cost me my cat's life. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But she didn't even call me back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do not think I'll ever take an animal there again even though years ago they handled other emergencies competently. The other vet that saw him after the drugs they prescribed ran out and i realized how impaired he still was (i had attributed it to medication effects since she knew she was giving me drugs that would mask neurological symptoms) did recognize the gravity of the situation and refer me to a veterinary neurologist but by then his brain had herniated and he death was imminent and disability was irreversible. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a deeply upsetting experience here during an emergency visit for our dog.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We brought our dog in at 9:00pm Friday for vomiting, urinary straining, blood clots in her urine, panting, and shaking. After tests/exam, the ER vet said an ultrasound was needed based on the X-ray and symptoms but informed us the radiologist would not be available until 10:00am the next morning. The ER vet explicitly told us: * She would preschedule us for 11:00am * We would drop our dog off and she would be taken for the scan right away * No one was scheduled before us so no need to come earlier * We would be called when the ultrasound was complete She reviewed the ultrasound pricing and potential related costs. There was no mention of a recheck or an associated fee. It was a drop-off appointment for a scan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We returned at 11:00am as instructed. At check-in: * We were told ultrasounds are not scheduled. * We were told we had to go back through the ER intake process and see the veterinarian on duty before any scan could be ordered. * We were then told there would be a $140 "recheck" fee added to our bill[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This directly contradicted what we were told. When I asked to waive the recheck fee, the front desk said it was at the vet's discretion and to ask her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We then waited over 3 hours in the waiting room with a dog who was there 9 hours prior, who was shaking, and clearly in pain -- despite being told we had a scheduled drop-off appointment and would be seen right away as the ultrasound was essential and urgent. The vet performed only a limited assessment (heart and lungs), went to check her gums before stopping to say "I can check those later," did not continue, and stated she had reviewed the notes and agreed the dog required an ultrasound. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As directed, I asked the veterinarian to waive the recheck fee given the radiologist's overnight unavailability. She said she "understood" but had "no authority over fees" and referred me to management.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Both front desk staff prior, and the management on a later call confirmed that the recheck fee is discretionary and can only be waived by the veterinarian. Management then told me that the veterinarian had declined to waive it when they asked her about it. That contradiction was deeply troubling. It appears we were lied to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We signed the estimate, noted our non-consent to the recheck fee, and were told the scan would proceed while management reviewed the charge, and to go home given the time needed to complete it. 30 minutes later with our dog in their care, management called to say they would NOT perform the ultrasound unless we consented to the recheck fee. They said we could escalate the issue, but that it would not be resolved that day, so our dog would not get the scan, the scan their doctor told us was urgent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They said we were "free to go elsewhere" and come pick her up without being scanned. By late afternoon, seeking care elsewhere would have meant restarting intake and delaying diagnostics, so we felt forced to agree to the charge to avoid further delay in her emergency care.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Conditioning urgent care on agreement to an undisclosed, disputed recheck fee without a full exam is unacceptable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The communication breakdown between doctors, staff, and management was severe. We received conflicting explanations about scheduling, fees, and whether care would proceed, and felt misled while our dog's condition risked worsening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our concerns about the unexpected changes, prolonged wait, and conflicting information were dismissed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Had we been told of an additional fee & to repeat intake, & wait hours with a sick, fasting, and anxious dog, we would have considered staying overnight or found care elsewhere. Instead, we were told the ultrasound was urgent, scheduled for 11am, and would be handled quickly, so we relied on that and did not pursue other options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When they called with the results, we were told "it could be a UTI or bladder cancer." When I repeated that for clarity, the vet responded, "Perfect!!" We were discussing cancer. It was deeply callous. We can only hope it was a lapse in attention.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It seems Pets Referral Center is now part of a larger corporate network owned by a private equity firm. Clients should be aware that they are not dealing with an independently owned practice. The financial policies seem fee-driven and outweigh continuity of care, transparency, and compassion--standards critical in emergency care. Conflicting information and fee handling raised serious concerns re: trust & oversight. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Due to inconsistent information, undisclosed fees, lack of empathy during an emergency, being told care would proceed and then informed otherwise after we had left, and loss of confidence in the medical judgment, we will not return.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clients deserve compassion & trustworthy care, none of which were displayed at Pets Referral Center.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more

We felt like our dog was well cared for and the treatment relieved his symptoms, and the wait wasn't terrible - about an hour or 90 minutes on a Sunday mid morning. AVOID! We experienced malpractice in summer 2025. We took our cat here for what turned out to be calicivirus. They ignored that issue and talked us into very expensive and unnecessary imaging. While our fur baby was recovering from what turned out to be calicivirus, he was having trouble jumping up onto the couch, etc. We initially wrote it off as loss of stamina and recovering from the illness, as he had lost 3 pounds. More than a month passed by, and my cat's jumping seemed to be getting worse, while the rest of him was recovered. We took him to our regular vet, who diagnosed cat spinal or back leg issues, and referred us to an orthopedic specialist. Later, our regular vet thought to check the labs from our visit at PETS Referral Center, and she discovered that the x-rays PETS Referral Center took *found disc mineralization* AND THEY NEVER INFORMED US of this finding. It doesn't matter that we went to PETS Referal Center for a different issue; they should have made us aware of this major finding. Instead, we spent an entire *month* with a cat exhibiting behavior that indicated a problem (e.g. hiding under the bed, urinating outside the box). While we struggled to determine the problem, our cat was in pain. Had PETS Referral Center informed us of that finding, we could have dealt with it immediately and avoided a month of unnecessary suffering. It doesn't matter that we brought our cat in for a different, seemingly unrelated illness. A finding of this magnitude should be reported to the pet owner to ensure they are aware of it. To not report such a finding is malpractice. read more

As a bunny and a previous cavy owner, I wish I've known this emergency clinic earlier. Someone recommended VEG clinic, NEVER go there. My piggy was butchered by idiots at there after paying $830 for emergency visit. The wait was long (2 hours to see a vet and 2 more hours to be released), but at least my 4 year bun is still with me. She was bloated (as I guessed), there is no good treatment (but I found baby gas relief works well for my bun). Anyway, she got fluid (s.c injections) and pain relief- the morphine was too strong and she was half-unconscious. I'm just grateful that she's still with me, hoping I won't have to go to see any vet at all ever again... read more

I had to bring my bunny in for an ultrasound. She has been sick for awhile and we have been trying to find some answers. Although we didn't get the results we wanted, we were met with such compassion by the staff. Dr. Gleeson is amazing and was so informative and caring. Robby, I can't thank him enough. He made it so my bunny could eat, relax, and feel safe - and I was able to breathe. His small act of kindness meant everything to me. If you need an emergency vet visit, this is the place to go. Our cat Bubbles had a deep puncture wound we didn't notice at first. Our regular vets were all booked up, so I took him to Pets Referral. Got there at 930 on a Friday morning, and we were seen by Dr. Leah Isaacson by 1100. She was wonderful. Kind, gentle, caring, and very professional. Bubbles was sewed up and ready to go home by 230. The cherry on the sundae was when they told me we were getting a refund of $150 from initial estimate. In a world of upcharging Vets, a great surprise. Fee was very reasonable for an emergency vet. We had a great experience with PETS after a disappointing visit to another local emergency hospital. We first brought our 11-month-old dog in for a respiratory virus when antibiotics weren't helping. PETS tested him right away to more serious viruses (thankfully negative) and there wasn't much they could do initially. About ten days later we rushed back when he became lethargic and started having trouble breathing. The staff was amazing from the start. His vitals were taken right away, communication was clear and reassuring, and X-rays were done quickly, which confirmed pneumonia. Although there was a wait to see the vet, everything felt organized and proactive. The doctor recommended admitting him to the hospital and explained everything thoroughly. We received regular updates, were encouraged to visit while he was at the hospital, and the team was always kind and patient when we called (often!) to check in. Thankfully, he was able to come home about 24 hours later with a clear plan for recovery. We're so grateful to the PETS team for taking such great care of our dog and treating us with so much kindness during a really scary time. Highly recommend. Although we hope we're not back anytime soon, this is the only place we'll take our pets when there is an emergency now. read more

I took my dog in. The check-in process is easy. I waited for a nurse to assess my dog. Then waited for the Dr. They are busy. Wait periods are long. The more urgent needs are prioritized--you have to wait. I felt my dog was ok enough to see his vet today, so I left prior to seeing the Dr. I had no idea what to expect. Since my dog did not receive intensive treatment, other reviews might tell you more. I had an x-ray done at my dogs vet today. I had no issues with Pets Referral. read more

After visiting this place, we were given a bag with medication and when we got home and opened the bag half a prescription was missing. When we called back they said we would have to pay again for the medication they didn't pack. At that point I checked online and it turns out they were charging us 3 times what the medication costs at a regular retail outlet. I would advise to anyone that goes here to take out the meds and count them in front of the staff before you leave. Or better yet, tell them to give you the prescription and just fill it out somewhere else. You don't have to buy it from them at 3 times the cost. read more

Unfortunately this place is a major cash grab. The front personnel lie to you with low estimates to get you through the door with your animal who you are desperate to help, and when you're there they quote you double. The problem with places that charge these outrageous prices is that the care and service just don't match. It's so difficult to get a hold of someone at this clinic who cares enough to answer your questions or return a call. Outtake instructions were unclear, and they just don't call back when they say they're going to with the instructions you so desperately need. I went through with it and over paid for everything. The care seemed comprehensive so I was okay with it. But they sold me medication that developed what looked like mold around the rim while the bottle was still more than half full. I called to see if they could replace it, but they refused citing not knowing where the mold came from?? The head nurse was incredibly rude. I would've spent thousands of dollars there had they simply replaced a bottle of medication and done a small decency for a sick cat, but no they are clearly trained with greed as their first motive. And because of that you lost thousands of dollars from someone who will no longer patronize your business. The head ER nurse needs some customer service training, quite literally driving people away. read more
