My girls came back so beautiful, I know Ms Gloria must've had a hard day today because she didn't just do what any other groomer would have done, she took time and sweet care of my girls and they look more beautiful than ever. She had an attitude with me when I asked her to trim his ears a lil shorter than last visit and be mindful he must keep a Cone on to protect a hotspot area on his leg that he had been treated for with antibiotics. I told her that the Vet approved him to be groomed but to be mindful of his leg. When came to pick him up she had fully shaved both his ears, huge bald spots on both arms, and his leg where he had been treated was now an open wound and inflamed, fire engine red. When I asked her what happened she got in my face, yelled at me, and called me derogatory names. I took out my phone and recorded her doing all this and then she called the police . I told her I would take him immediately to the Vet and possibly file a complaint.. So she called the police on me and lied to try to get ahead of my complaint. Of course I did nothing wrong but ask a question so the police came and left and told me that I should file a civil suit against her which I will do. Please don't your pet to this location.

I had inherited this dog after the death of a family member and was unfamiliar with the needs of her curly coat (seems to be a poodle/maltese mix). On the day of our scheduled appointment we had inclement weather and Stephanie called me to reschedule. We did so and then had that appointment. The staff was so friendly and good to my dog. She was experiencing some separation anxiety and they handled it wonderfully. She was done when they told me she would be and I picked her up and paid. She looked so wonderful and I think she felt better as she seemed to have a pep in her step. She had not been groomed recently due to the death and transition for Chicago to here. I was initially worried she would need to be shaved completely and start over. Stephanie and her staff did a fantastic job and shaving wasn't required. I scheduled my next groom day for her based on the recommendations of the staff and how her hair will likely grow. This is my first dog with intense grooming needs and all the staff made this a great experience. The price I paid was better than I imagined and well worth every penny. I will continue to take my girl there and hopefully next time remember to take a picture after.

His ears were completely mowed down; shaved almost bare and his head was cut down lower than 1 inch. We shared a preferred picture to the groomers for how we wanted him to be cut. Even his tail was shaved from one end to the other. It will take a year for his coat to grow back. Dont take your dog here, The owner tried to make excuses for this patheric grooming job, but no answer can be given for this pathetic grooming place. Don't take your dog here. Very costly and no credit or reduction of charges was offered.

It's important to know that they are frequently booked out 4-6 weeks. So when you make an appointment, allow some time to see them because they are very popular. And well worth the wait! I have two dogs (a Cavachon and an English Cocker Spaniel) which require frequent grooming. I am very particular about their grooming and they always look great! I also appreciate the fact that my pups love to go there which gives me great peace of mind. All About Pets is owned by Joyce who is dedicated to providing the best care for your dog. Joyce is highly experienced, detail oriented, very kind and truly cares about you and your dog. She keeps thorough and accurate records about each detail of your dog's grooming. Each grooming session is custom made just for your dog. The groomers are excellent, too - very thorough and experienced. They also provide detailed report cards summarizing each visit. They provide ear cleaning, expression of anal glands, nail grinding and de-matting during each visit. I like the fact that my dogs have the same groomer for each visit which maintains consistency. You can also drop off supplies there to support local dog shelters. I am very grateful to Joyce and her groomers for the wonderful care that they provide. This place used to be wonderful but it seems the new management has really changed - unfortunately…read morein the wrong direction. It's sad to see this happen because the folks who work there really are excellent! We boarded two dogs and when we picked them up it seems the rate has effectively doubled. That was unexpected. We boarded the same two dogs for the same period of time in April and it was $380. This time it was $794. To add insult to injury, the person at the desk billed us twice. Clerical errors happen, but it's how we respond to them that matter and in my case getting help in the form of a refund has been a colossal headache. They advised us not to worry as it would be refunded. It's now three days later and no refund. Our account has been overdrawn and we've been told to "just wait" for a refund. After being billed an extra $800 leading to an account overdraw, "just wait" is an unacceptable resolution. I run a small business. If we overcharged a customer to the tune of $800 and overdrawing their account, one of my guys would be in a truck heading to that person's house with a check and an apology. Been coming here for years - sadly will be taking business elsewhere going forward. To me it's quite telling that all the recent reviews are one star. Sad to see and it pains me to contribute to that.
