Employees stealing dogs or giving them away!

A lady brought in a dog that she found. They took the dog even thought that's not something they do. The owner went there when she found out where her dog was (a day later) and they won't tell her where her dog is. They are making the police get a search warrant. Awful people.

I've been taking my pets to Banfield @Petsmart for over a decade, while I see the Facebook posts related to a "stolen" dog I feel this must be an isolated incident related to a single employee. I have never had an issue and only had the utmost care for my fur kids whether it was my own or my aunts cat who needed end of life care. Recently, my dog was attacked by another and Dr. Smith and Jonathan were amazing and when I go in just to shop they still ask how my little guy is doing. All the staff I have encountered have been courteous, kind and empathetic and took excellent care of my dog. I always say there is more to a story and I think in the case of the Frenchie that was brought in this is the case. I love Banfield, the doctors and staff are amazing. I read the Frenchie was reunited with their family so all ended well and I'm certain that whatever happened they will take care of the situation. I will continue to trust in their care and I know they always have the best interest of the patients in their care at top of mind.

I have been taking my dog to be groomed for over 5 years and have been pleased. But took her on Tuesday before Thanksgiving 2021 and was NOT pleased. I understand accidents happen so not angry that somehow they clipped her too close on her forhead but very angry that no one told me. Since it was dark outside and I was in a hurry didn't notice until we got home. I called and spoke to Austin the assistant manager and he took my info and had a manager call me the next day. I can't remember his name but he said that his groomer told him that my dog was fine when I picked her up. I told him I had a picture I could bring up and show him but he said no need if I wanted to have their vet look at her I could bring her up. I told him already put medicine on and she is fine. All I wanted was a simple I am sorry and instead basically told it didn't happen. So decided since they didn't want to see the picture I would post instead. Accidents happen and when they do a apology goes a long way. I will be looking for a new place to go in the future.

Check the price on the shelf vs what you are charged at the register, the last 4 times I was charged more than what was listed on the shelf.

If you are reading this review and looking into dog training, I highly recommend you call Thrive…read moreDog Training because you will be nothing but impressed and happy with the decision to have them train your dog(s)! Thrive Dog Training changed our lives and the life of our Pit Bull, Bossy, in a way I never thought was possible. She was a sweet and loving dog with my husband and I but she had many issues - barking at everyone and at every little noise; pulling when she was on a leash; jumping on guests and annoying them until they gave her attention or until they left our house; begging for food while we were eating and taking food right off our plates or hands when we weren't paying attention; peeing when she got nervous or excited regardless of where that pee went; totally freaking out whenever she saw another dog and wanting to attack the dog(s). We were not only annoyed and embarrassed with her behavior but we were also scared to death of her attacking someone or attacking someone's pet and us being sued and/or having to put her to sleep. We ended up purchasing a lifetime membership and it was worth every dollar and then some. Nathan and all of his staff at Thrive took the best care of Bossy and turned her into the perfect dog! Every bad trait and behavior of hers was gone. She was still the sweetest and most loving dog, but we were no longer afraid of taking her out in public or of her being around other people and other dogs; no longer embarrassed by her when guests came over; we no longer had to be annoyed or angry with her because now when she got excited, she kept her excitement contained and stayed obedient which eliminated her accidents all over the house. Best decision we ever made! Unfortunately Bossy passed away recently but when we do decide to get another puppy or adult dog, they will be trained by Nathan and his staff also!

We get to take Marley everywhere and everyone is so impressed by his behavior! I recommend Thrive to everyone! Thanks Thrive!

More than six months before my Tibetan Mastiff puppy was born, I began the search for a trainer for…read moreher. While I took a husky puppy to obedience training in the '90's and used that knowledge to put nice house manners on my dogs in the years that followed, I had no experience with this ancient guardian breed and knew I wanted to do more with her, including conformation dog shows. I spoke with at least 10 dog trainers in the Tulsa Metro and they unfailingly recommended the same training facility for the multiple training opportunities I was searching for--K9 Manners and More. When our girl was finally in our home and we had also found a Shih Tzu puppy the same age, we enrolled them both in puppy obedience class and also swim lessons. What an amazing experience this was! Our senior golden retriever also took swim lessons and we felt so much better that all three dogs could not only get out of the pool safely if they fell in, but also that our entire household understood how to train our new puppies. When we began the conformation classes with our trainer Kim, we learned far more than how to manage in the show ring; we also learned how to recognize the body language our dogs were expressing. Soon we began training for more than basic obedience and the show ring. Our Tibetan Mastiff bitch enjoyed the training lessons so much that she went on to earn her Puppy STAR Obedience, Canine Good Citizen certification, and Novice Trick Dog! Our Shih Tzu took another class and accompanied us to our private lessons to work on learning more as well. Soon my TM breeder and her granddaughter joined us occasionally for the lessons, and my new friend who had my TM's sister came too! Before we knew it, another breeder asked to join with her TM for some classes. This breed is notorious for being stubborn and difficult to train, and no one else around had any experience with Tibetan Mastiff training, so when people were surprised by how well trained my dog Zaya is, they were excited to take part in lessons with Kim! She helped my breeder's dog Magic get ready for and pass his CGC before he went to Westminster 2026, and helped both Magic and Zaya prepare for and pass their temperament tests. Yet another breeder from across the country heard of Zaya's success with Kim and brought me a puppy with poor socialization and high anxiety. Kim took on this pup as well and has achieved amazing progress with her. She will now accept treats from strangers and allow judges to go over her in the show ring. Zaya has now also completed her Farm Dog Certification and is a therapy dog working with CHAMPS. She is also actively working with me as my service dog. Another friend with Czechoslovakian Vlciaks has been training with K9 Manners and more in multiple disciplines for the last couple of years. She recently began training with us so that I can help show her dogs. The breed doesn't do well with outsiders, but with Kim's direction I was able to show two of her dogs at the 2026 Tulsa Canine Extravaganza. Halo and I even took Best of Breed one day! We could not have achieved all of these accomplishments without Kim and K9 Manners and More. We highly recommend them for all of your dog training aspirations, from group puppy and obedience classes, to agility, scent work, and dock diving, and everything in between. The trainers are outstanding and the pricing is reasonable. My dogs look forward to their time training with K9 Manners and More. So does my family!
