I've been debating posting, but finally decided to. I went in the store and I heard a dog yelling. As I was waiting in line I saw the dog being groomed.it was a small poodle. Cream colored. He was still yelling. The man grooming him had headphones on. He was tan colored. I couldn't see is face. He was holding this poor dogs leg out 45 degrees out and buzzing him. The poor dog was in pain. I told the girl at the register. She didn't say anything. I said again that the dog was crying I said I felt bad. I said he shouldn't be holding his leg like that. Sh didn't say a word. I wish I stayed. I wish I did something. I feel horrible. This wS on a weekend. I can't believe they let him wear headphones. ​ read more

Worst experience ever. I made an appointment through the phone for grooming and then I get there and they made me wait 30 mins because I didn't have my vaccine paperwork on my hand. When they had it in the system bc it was the second time I went there. Then when they finally took my puppy they told me that cindy was going to be my groomer, and she was awful. She was eating Fritos and didn't even bother to wash her hands to grab my puppy. SHE IS HORRIBLE. My puppy looked exactly the same as when I left her, she didn't even cut her nails, I couldn't even see her eyes. Like I said HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Definitely not coming back here again. Pls don't let CINDY groom your puppy with the Frito hands. read more

I was highly unsatisfied with my recent grooming visit with my 1 year old goldendoodle pup. The groomer, Cindy, told me he was extremely matted from head to tail however my pup wasn't matted whatsoever. He has curly hair. She shaved him down to the skin, & shaved his tail down to his actual bone. She proceeded to tell me she didn't want to spend the time brushing him out so she then shaved his coat all off. It's very choppy & very upsetting. Goldendoodle's need the extra time because of their coats. read more

This was our first time visiting a PetSmart- honestly I didn't even know there was one up my way. I was pleasantly surprised! The store opened about two months ago and is so big and clean! It's stocked well and they've done a great job merchandising their products. I can't really judge their dog and cat prices, but the prices on their reptile supplies are great! They've got two aisles of reptile items and good brands. Lots of variety! I was truly pleasantly pleased. They had a lot of PetSmart member savings- not like a couple cents, like a couple dollars off! They've got a beautiful fish area but they don't have too many snakes. I personally wouldn't suggest buying a snake from them. Two of their Pythons were pretty aggressive- one of them was striking like crazy! The person I spoke to also didn't know their supplier. If you're looking to buy a reptile, I'd stick with Chelsea at Daves or Jeremy at Petco on Boston road. Otherwise, beautiful store! read more

Customers service was great from The employee Nediem, I came into the store to return a harness I had just purchased that day because it didn't fit my dog. I asked one of the ladies on the floor and she said we don't have any besides what on the shelf. I then went up to Nediem he then went into the back and found the exact size and color I needed. Put one star because I can't review them like none. Make an appointment in phone for grooming I ask if I need to bring some paper for my dog like vaccines or something they say no. We are waiting 20 minutes to check in and they tell me need vaccine papers like wtf I'm like 30 minutes for my home. They tell us to go out to the place when we are looking for the vaccine record on our phone. Really disappointed with this never come again to this place. PetSmart have better service for much. read more

Our little guy gets treated like royalty every visit. He even likes to go daegu hi to the grooming staff when we drop by the store to pick up other stuff. Cannot say enough good words about Mr. Alex, his groomer: so professional, considerate, skilled, kind, and steady! read more

Brought my puppy here so that he can get some basic training. He was so excited every week that he went in. They really do a great job and show you everything you need to know to be successful with training. I'm please with the results and will be bringing him back for the next level of training. Petsmart #2481 We buy two to three cases of dog food every month. We call the Chicopee store and they tell us, yes they have plenty in stock. We arrive and they have none or a few containers. Once I asked if they had any in the back and the manager said no. I asked someone else, they went into the back and brought me two cases! We end up traveling to PetCo and buying it for $1.19 instead of $1.25 at Petsmart. We even tried preordering and that didn't work. We order Nature's Recipe, Chicken and Salmon Recipe. Brought my puppy in for his first bath and nail trim. I paid $40 When I picked him up and brought him to my car I realized his back paw was covered in blood. When I brought him back inside they said they cut his nails too short and they'll put quick stop on them. My dog was is so much pain he was yelping echoing the whole store. I asked for a refund and they refused to give me the whole refund, I only got half of what I paid. I will never come here again for a grooming. Teresa did my dog for those wondering. I am a bit disappointed with my visit. I went only to find that they do not carry Items to care for my chinchilla. When I inquired about it i was told they do not carry items for animals they do not sell. Funny I didn't see any kittens or dogs but there was plenty of cat food and dog food there. DO NOT TRUST LEAVING YOUR ANIMALS IN THE HANDS OF THESE INCOMPETENT HEARTLESS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. I came here with my Yellow Lab and Pitbull mix. I paid for nail grinding, teeth brush, and ear cleaning. First of all my pitbull had ACL surgery 9 weeks ago and I let them know. I told them that we just went for a walk so his leg was fatiguged and would not be able to stand on it while they cut his other legs nails and he would either need to be held or sat down. I always leave the room when my dogs get their nails cut because they are calmer. So I was standing outside looking through the glass. I watched them manipulate my dogs FRESHLY REPAIRED leg in all different ways to the point that he was SCREAMING in pain and actually tried to bite them to make them stop. My dog has been getting his nails done every 3 weeks for 8 years.... he does not bite or cry. They then proceeded to force him to stand on his leg that they just manipulated while they cut his other back foot. He collapsed on the table and they were in the process of forcing him back up when I ran in. Of course once I was in the room they were very gentle. I was on the verge of tears and felt like I was going to throw up knowing that I put my boy in these peoples hands. He was so shaken up after this he cried for an hour. Now a day later he is holding him leg up because it is so sore. Next instead of brushing either dogs teeth they just sprayed some shit down their throat causing one of my dogs to vomit on the way home in the car. Possible from this spray or the immense stress of this interaction. Next the ear cleaning was a joke. My lab gets very dirty ears and I had to clean them again when I got home. Overall this was the worst experience I have ever had at any pet store. Normally when you walk into the grooming area the people working give your dog some attention and ask who it this! BECAUSE THEY ARE DOG PEOPLE. These people that were working never said a word to my dogs. Didn't pet them or even try to calm them down as they were shaking or crying on their tables. I will NEVER return to this pet smart and I hope the people that were working are fired. read more

Petsmart grooming here is terrible..they leave your dog locked up in cage for hours and staff is unprofessional and rude. Veronica was my dogs groomer and I had to leave because she left my dog locked up for 6 hours and claimed they were to busy and couldn't get to him right away. Veronica is rude and not good at her job. I have also reported them to the better business bureau. They are affordable but only because they do hack jobs and not what you ask them to do. read more

Terrible customer service by Chris. The customer service by a worker named Chris was unprofessional and inappropriate. I overheard him say he had corgis and i, with my mix-breed Corgi, said "oh that's exciting this is a corgi too". Chris sarcastically said, "I have a real corgi" this was in front over several customers and giggled uncomfortably. It was extremely embarrassing and unprofessional at a workplace . His customer service skills are highly lacking and I come from a customer service background. This is unfortunate as there were several amazing workers who helped us however I will not be going back to this location as they show be ashamed of hiring someone that does not know the time or place for sarcasm. read more

We had the best experience. Petco was very rude so we took our pup here, got an appointment within 30 minutes of calling. Staff was so sweet and knowledgeable they went above and beyond to accommodate our puppy. They were calm, kind and made this an easy and unexpectedly enjoyable process. My dog loved getting her nails clipped and we loved shopping around to reward her with a toy. She was even offered a free treat! Awesome staff, great experience! Would highly recommend especially over petco! Such a painless experience we will be back soon! read more
