This was no small task to tackle, as it was hours worth of work on an animal that is known to be half stubborn by blood. But yet I was told that she was perfectly behaved which I know that's only because the employees really know how to handle and care for our loved ones. Even with some equipment malfunction, I was given other options quickly and was still able to successfully dye my puppers hair after her spa day. Fast forward to later in the day, I'm told there is a local pupper costume contest and felt very confident knowing my little fox was easily the cutest and best dressed for the occasion. I called to complain about a bad groom for the first time ever, Courtney shaved Teddy down to pink skin with blood flecks. His skin was hot and swollen and he was in distress. My husband missed it during pickup because he was keeping his tail tightly tucked, I didn't notice until I arrived home 2ish hours later because he wasn't wagging when I arrived. I contacted them to let them know that I was unhappy that he had been shaved bald from his genitals to three inches up his tail and was so miserable I thought I should take him to the vet. Courtney said that she didn't know what I was talking about, so I sent a photo. She said she could see he had an anal gland issue that he definitely didn't have during his groom (because those develop in 2 hours) and we should take him to the vet. After a trip to the emergency vet his anal gland is all better but he still has a truly BRUTAL haircut. I contacted Angela about the experience and told her that all I wanted was an apology and an assurance that this wouldn't happen to another dog. I got deflection, denials, and doubling down on the fact they did nothing wrong. I know they didn't cause the dog's infected gland but this HAIRCUT? I paid $68.75 for this. Any pet lover would have been apologetic for sending a dog home in this state. It is infuriating to be told that your dog couldn't have been shaved to the skin or have razor burn when you are staring at it! I thought you couldn't argue with the photo but Angela's can. They "used the right guard, give this groom all the time, he had a large mat ( he was groomed regularly by them and brushed daily) they are sorry for my 'situation'." Entrusting your dog to someone runs a risk of accidents, being groomed can cause injuries. Unfortunately you can't trust Angela's to do the right thing if they make a mistake.

However, he has been hurt by a groomer here twice. In both cases they did not tell me when it happened. The first time was a small cut near where he was fixed. There wasn't blood after the fact but there was a scab and it was a bit swollen. He also had some bad razor burn after that cut as well. The second instance was today. I picked my dog up, paid, and when we got to the car I saw fresh and dried blood caked in the end of his tail. I took a closer look and found a 2-3cm cut on the tip of his tail and it's pretty deep. I immediately went back inside to confront them. They apologized, said they forgot to tell me, and it was a new de-matting tool. They cleaned up the blood and put ointment on his tail. I didn't demand the money I paid back because they did provide the service, but I feel they should've offered more of a remedy than simply an apology. Perhaps offer me some or all of my money back? A discount for next visit? At least something!! I understand dogs squirm and can be wiggly, but to not tell a client that their pet was injured is beyond negligent. I will not be bringing my dog here again and I do NOT recommend anyone bring theirs. The photos I've added are of the wound on his tail a few hours after picking him up.

Jasmine was amazing, sweet... kind...and caring…read more I just moved here and was excited to try this place, welcoming environment... they were kind to me. My little one got groomed by Lauren, was told Zeus was "psycho" and I left wanting to cry by her continuous negative comments. Jasmine went out of her way to reach out to me and apologize. I wanted to book again with both of them, but lauren made it clear in front of me that she did not want to groom Zeus again. Which is fine and understandable, but I wish it wasn't done in front of me... I wouldn't want anyone not comfortable grooming my dog to groom my dog. Jasmine was kind and was going to groom both of them again...I ended up just cancelling the future appointment. I would recommend Jasmine 100% she did an amazing job with Shadow (Goldendoodle) and made me feel great. I appreciate her going out of her way for me and offering to groom Zeus (maltipoo) I know she would be kind and patient with him. Zeus is a little timid and is sensitive... especially on his feet. I haven't had that reaction after a groom for him until I came here. Zeus is extremely sweet, you just need to take your time with him.
