This is my neighborhood pet store. It's huge and, while they don't carry all the fancy upscale brands, they do have a large variety of most common brands of foods, toys, medical supplies, clothing, and a convenient grooming shop on site. They are very helpful and willing to work with you to get what you want from their suppliers. They also cover more types of pets than some of the smaller specialty stores. The prices are competitive and they offer lots of sales, bargains, and coupons. They still do delivery and will bring your package to the car if you order mobile! The workers are friendly and helpful if you need assistance. The best part is you can bring your well behaved shopping assistant inside on a leash! Everyone is always happy to see your well-behaved helper. Nobody, however, appreciates a pest and please clean up the mess on the aisle if you're "baby" makes it! Okay? You'll find great value! Zero Stars. Booked a bath and brush/nail trim appointment for my 5 month-old pup; he has been there twice previously for the same service and never had a problem. When I brought him in, the person at the front desk was short and rude. After 2.5 hours, they called that he was done. When I arrived, they charged me $35 for a $25 service, then after I paid, was told they couldn't trim his nails because he kept peeing. Stated he "peed on me, don't know if he had to go the bathroom or what, but we didn't trim his nails". I asked, but you still charged me the full amount? She stated it was the package. I will never be back. I purchased all my animal feed, cat litter and treats at this location; I will never go inside this establishment again. read more

My first visit to this PetSmart location was the Friday the 13th. I didn't NEED to stop here, but I longed for a new fishy friend. You see, my betta fish of many years (RIP DMX Dogg - 5 years, and T. Swizzle - 3.5 years) passed in February within a week of each other. They were in separate tanks their entire life but had a longing for each other; now their little souls can rest in eternity with each other. It's like The Notebook! GAH! ANYWAY I really wanted a new fish friend. I love fish! I studied fish in school, I work with fish, fish are great!!! There were very few people in sight. One cashier. I had never been here before so I had to wander aimlessly to find the Bettas. I totally passed them 2 times before I saw them on an end cap display. So I started looking and talking to them. The subspecies (crowntail, veil tail, twin moon tail, etc) were fairly accurately displayed along with prices. The subspecies was listed on the lid of their little display cup as well. It would have been helpful if prices were written or stuck on the cups/lids as several were out of place. However, price is not how I pick a friend. I first saw these adorable little girly fish. I wanted 2! But I told myself, no. No, Angie, no. I can only afford to feed 1 more mouth in my household. After discussions and careful deliberation, I chose "the one:" my new BFF! She was so lively and fun!!! Meanwhile I had begun to look at the male fish. There were so many potential BFFs!!! I was stuck in a conundrum. One really spoke to me, he was a brilliant blue color. I put him next to the girl fish. BOOM! There were solid feels between the two. --In all this time, which was more than 20 mins, one employee said she would assist me and I never saw her again.-- I took my 2 new BFFs and wandered around the store for a while. I found some excellent clearance dog toys, so of course I had to purchase a couple for my pup that was patiently waiting at home. I finally interacted with an employee when I checked out, which was fine but I would have asked a question or two regarding the fish. It was probably best, though, because I would have likely purchased a new tank and more fish......... Did I mention I love fish?!?! Jay Z and Queen B are the perfect co-workers while I work at home. They are healthy and happy, they offer input and relieve stress. I couldn't have asked for anything more! Also, my dog destroyed 1 toy but the other is her favorite and is keeping it "nice." Overall, the store was clean and they appear to take very good care of their fish and other little friends (birds, gerbils, hamsters). I would recommend this store if shopping for a new Betta, based on my intimate experience with their current stock, and doggy toys! They had good deals!!!! We went to PetSmart to explore options for our puppy in terms of food brands, toys, bowls, collar and pretty much everything a new pup would need! I am glad we stopped by here. While it's easy to look up a few things here and there online and explore them yourself in a store, but coming to PetSmart was really a huge learning adventure for us. We met one of the staff members there Kelly who was exceptionally helpful to us. She gave us a general overviews of do's and don't with lots of example. She pointed us to the brands we were curious about and recommended we go with puppy specific items because of their needs. Great advice. I pretty much showed her my list of things I needed and she swiftly took me from one area to another in order for me to find the right items! Both me and my husband were really happy to learn a lot and would definitely recommend this place not only for their products, but exceptional customer service!! read more

I come to this Petsmart pretty often. It's the closest pet supply store and has large variety and wide selection of pet products; but, obviously, many of the things I buy are available way cheaper online or on Amazon. The store does have some good sales and clearance sections from time to time, though. There is easy online scheduling for services. Online to store pick up is convenient, too. This is a fun place because they'll hold photoshoots with the Easter bunny or Santa, which I frequently take advantage of. They take the picture and then email it to you. It's cute. They also have some vendors stop by sometimes and allow for sampling of food and treats. Sometimes they have adoption center, mostly for chats, though. I also trialed a training class for my pup and the instructor was very helpful. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The store is clean. They have all the supplies I need. I'll stop by mostly for walk-in grooming services like nail cuts and pawdicures and quick face/paw trims. They usually take my pup right away and doesn't take that long, while you shop in the store in the meantime. I just wish they didn't put the pets in their back room in crates, especially because my dog gets very anxious. They should come up with a better alternative for that. read more

I took my dog here to get groomed, when i picked her up she was acting stand off-ish. I asked in person how she was during the appointment. The groomer replied by saying that she was just nervous. When i took her back home, she was shaking, hid her tail, and was physically sick to her stomach. I called back and the same groomer, Malinda, told me nothing happened. I was concerned about my dog and disclosed that information to my family friend who had happened to be at pet-smart at the same time that day. Our family friend saw her nearly fall off of the table and the groomer pull on her leg aggressively when she was resisting. I feel that every pet parent deserves to know how their pets are treated at the groomer. Therefore, please think twice before bringing your pet here. read more

This is a review on Petsmart Dog training in Grafton. I wanted to leave a review on the pet smart dog training page after reading reviews and signing up for training myself. Although, it didn't appear there was anywhere for me to do so, there is 6 reviews total on the Grafton, WI website which seem to be cherry picked positive reviews for trainer Una. In particular i would like to talk about Una, I would highly recommend going somewhere else and spending a bit more money. If you have a low maintenance dog maybe you will be successful at Pet Smart. I arrived at the store for my first night of training and Una started telling me that my dog was "fearful" because he was barking and pulling toward the other dogs. I know my dog and he wasn't cowering, he is a puppy and very very high energy and is so playful. He is also a bullterrier which is a very stubborn and difficult breed to train. After Una started on with her weird, inaccurate, offensive and out of no where comments she didnt even let me into the training room and i didnt make it past the registers. She immediately saw me and walked over to me and told me that he probably wasnt going to calm down and that i needed to leave. Mind you, all of the other dogs were also in the room and barking. Honestly, it sounds like she didn't want to work or do her job, she saw a challenge and didnt want to deal with it. However she was willing to train a toy poodle which was carried in wearing a t-shirt and mittens. She told me she would call me on Saturday to talk about different steps but she never called, i didnt want to talk to her anyway because after dealing with her for a few minutes i realized she would absolutely not be helpful, but rather a judgmental hindrance. But she is not true to her word. She then told me I needed a quote "specific trainer" whatever that means, apparently she is not "specific" and not a "trainer." I feel very compelled to leave a review because there were reviews suggesting her on the website. DO NOT GO TO UNA FOR DOG TRAINING. She has an inaccurate high opinion of herself, egotism isn't a problem when your intuitions are true and not malicious, catty and mean and nasty snap judgments towards me and my dog. Una, you are not Caesar Millan, you arnt sharing astute, profound, life changing 2 second observations. You are just judgmental, and coming up with nonsense to get out of doing your job. If you do go to dog training at pet smart go to Joey. Oh yeah, also as i was leaving one of my friends who works the register told me that Una reprimanded her for giving me a hug as i was leaving. I visited Petsmart 2 times asking everything I could think of to make my new 11 week old puppy have a great first experience for a bath. Both times I was told everything was fine. Booked appt. arrived with all vet paperwork and coupon from their new puppy book, and they said they could not do the bath because he had recently received his shots. They were rude, inconsiderate and waisted 3 my time on 3 visits to make sure all would go well. They suck, seriously. In hindsight, worked out better to bathe him myself at a new competitor 10 min away. I'm walking in there for my puppy package refund tomorrow and never again! Then I get home, and I get a v mail telling me I'm late for my appointment for my puppy. Haha. That's a well run organization. read more

I got a guinea pig and the guy that helped me out was damn near a saint. He helped me with finding a cage, the right food.. ect. He also helped me bring everything out to my car. I've had bad experiences buying fish at this location, but the customer service at this location was worth it. read more

Rude. Stopped in and asked about possibly getting our dog groomed or getting her face trimmed (which you can normally do simply by walking in). We were immediately told they don't have time, even though there were two people in the grooming area and only one dog. I would have expected "Oh, I'm sorry, we have appointments booked all day" or something similar. That's okay, we'll stick with the groomer we usually use. Just thought we could come here in a pinch. My son wanted a hamster for his birthday. It died just outside of the return period even though it had everything it needed. We went back and bought another hamster and the employee said we should've brought the first one back even though it was outside of the return window and they would've exchanged it. After the second one died in 17 days I called the manager and asked if they would still exchange it. She said I need the original contract signed, which I'm not sure where it ended up in my son's excitement. I told her they also have a copy and she said yes but that won't be enough. Obviously the quality of these animals is pretty poor if they die in just over two weeks. So much for his birthday present. read more

Its the only close pet store near me. People are helpful and the price's are ok.

I LOVE this Petsmart. I have done dog training classes there which were phenomenal. I also have found the staff in general to be very helpful and kind. I take my dogs to the groomer as well and have really been happy with that service as well. And their selection of various items is excellent. read more

This store is HUGE! I was so surprised at the enormous selection of pet supplies. They had a nice selection of pets, too - small animals like lizards, turtles, hamsters, and even some cats. I casually stopped in there for hamster supplies and was rewarded with an entire aisle of cages, treats, and other supplies. read more

I find it odd that the FEEDER goldfish which are regularly bought to be fed to other pets without a problem would not be sold to my 3 year old daughter who has a filtered fish tank. I guess a goldfish needs 20 gallon tanks unless you plan to let another pet eat it for breakfast. Petsmart in Grafton has lost my business permanently, and I would recommend all parents looking to purchase a pet for your child to steer clear as well, because they don't want your business. Instead of offering my daughter another fish option they refused to sell her a fish. How ridiculous. We had no problem buying a fish at Meijer in Grafton. They were knowledgeable, kind, and much easier to work with. Go there if you want to purchase a fish. read more

My dog and I went to the PetSmart today and let me just tell you..... first this employee came out of the grooming salon while I was waiting and two other customers with their two poodles were looking around. The employee who came out of the salon seemed to know one of the customers and when one of their poodles proceeded to pee not once but TWICE on the floor the lady was very nice about it and helped them clean it up. However, later as I was looking around the store my dog went number 2 (if you know what I mean) on the floor. A different employee looked at me and said in a very very very rude tone "ummmm your dog pooped......." as if I didn't realize. Needless to say I was clearly going to pick it up. Then she proceeded to walk away and did not help me clean it up. Not only was she very rude but was not helpful in directing us towards cleaning supplies. I was very shocked and disappointed from the completely opposite reaction the employees had and how I was treated in a similar situation and the same store. read more
