This was the 2nd time I have taken my fur babies to be groomed the first time was fantastic so I made an appointment for both of them at 2:00 pm dropped them off went to have lunch checked my phone found out they started calling at 2:48pm that they were finished with both now I had gottten the furminator deluxe for one and the furminator luxury for the other fur baby. I went and paid $117.00 for 2 chi mixes got home to discover half of what was supposed to be done was done oh and no cologne spray and no bandana so glad I did not tip they ripped me off enough I will never take them back. read more

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean store (and with dogs, that can be difficult) and good selection, though prices can sometimes been way too high. Mary Alice is our dog's favorite person to see!!! Grooming salon is nice - we loved Rashad but he is no longer there so we tried Kaitlyn and our dogs like her, too. She did a fantastic job of grinding our lab's nails and he seemed happy with her afterwards so we'll call that a win! read more

i am very displeased with the grooming service! im a loyal customer who shops 3-4 times a week in the store, i decided to bring my furry babies to the grooming side. the attitudes in there are rude and racist. i was suppose to recieve a free repeat service but ended up paying $64.00 again do to lack of communication with staff, i stood in the palor explaining my services suppose to have been free and all i got was attitude a d excuses about they dont give free hair cuts, thats what i was requesting all i wanted was the same service i received before to be be done right! i will never take ny dogs back to be treated like that!!!!!! read more

I had to take off early from my job for an appointment I booked well in advance. Took my dog in for grooming and was turned away. The reason? He was wearing a muzzle. He's a large German Shepard and can be intimidating to look at, even though he's a big softy. I put the muzzle on (which I bought at the same store on the very same day), thinking it might make the groomers feel okay about getting to know him. I was told that bringing him in with a muzzle was an indication of his having issues. I said I was sorry and took the muzzle off of him right there to show he was only wearing it so they might not be scared. As my German Shepard commenced licking and sniffing the manager, I was told too bad, we needed to go elsewhere. Scheduled the appointment online, filled out all the information there, and received at least 5 emails concerning the appointment. Never once was there a warning against bringing in my dog muzzled. I had no idea. It looks like breed discrimination as all the dogs in there were tiny. Contacted customer service and they didn't understand why the groomers wouldn't see them. Contacted the store and the manager told me it was company policy. Someone is lying... returning the muzzle later today and canceling my online account with Petsmart, cutting all ties. Took my puppy there for a bath and cut. The first time it was just great! Everything I wanted plus some. But took her for the second time and it was the complete opposite, they were not friendly at all, asked for the same person as last time and got someone different and she did a horrible job! Couldn't even tell she did much, paid for the works and didn't receive the works! Now to find a new place!!!! read more

Terrible. I waited 20 minutes for crickets while store employees just wandered around letting one associate deal with 20 people. I had to ask for someone to help her, and get off their butts. THEN when I was checking out, in the middle of my transaction my cashier walks away on her personal phone without telling me what was happening. So I was there by myself finishing my transaction and bagging my stuff because I don't have time for people's personal shit. Worst petsmart experience. Management should be fired. read more

This is a review for the grooming salon at PetSmart. I have been bringing my two dogs to grooming salons at various PetSmarts for a couple years and never felt compelled to review one on Yelp but this particular salon is so fantastic due to our most recent groomer, Carly, that I needed to write about it! She talked to me in detail about the differences between two of the blade options when I asked and made me comfortable with my decision. She also made me feel like she really cared about my dogs wellbeing when she called me to let me know that it was going to take a bit longer for my older dog Oreo because he was incredibly nervous and anxious about the dryer so she was letting him air dry with fans instead. In all the years I have had groomers work on him at PetSmart nobody has told me that. She kept me very apprised of their progress and they looked fantastic when I picked them up! read more

The only Petsmart I've ever been in where you have to buzz an associate just to be allowed to look at the fish in the fish area. No thanks. I walked right back out quicker than I walked in. These people are something else! I drive an entire hour just to have my dog groomed at a clean salon. Someplace nice where I hoped that she would not have a panic attack. So I get there with her and she starts to have a massive panic attack, just before we get out of the car, at which point I had to give her one of her sedatives that the vet at banfield gave me just to calm her down. Anyway, I got her into the salon and she's still hyperventilating and the woman there tells me that she is forbidden to take the dog in this state. And so I informed her that she had just taken her anxiety medication just to give her a few minutes. Then she proceeded to tell me that without a vet on hand she will not touch her. Really?! My husband has blood cancer and the doctor has informed him that if we must keep our dog indoors than it has to be cleaned and shaved on a monthly basis. And I cannot do it by myself I have a degenerative disk in my back and there is no clean and trustworthy groomer within an hour of where I live. Not to mention that my dog has already been tested by her vet at banfield on this medication and she has no adverse side effects. So for them to not take her based on such a trivial matter is just beyond LOW! And it makes me lament the fact that the grooming location on Billy Williamson Dr has now closed. Because they would have gladly taken her regardless. They were sweet at all times and highly professional. Nothing like these snubs. read more

I generally love this Petsmart but I can't understand why they advertise products on sale on their website but refuse to honor them at the store. Went today to purchase 4 month supply of flea/tick medicine because it says it's $10 off on their website but at the counter they claim that's online only. Am I supposed to order it online but walk in and pick it up in the store? Cause that's ridiculous. read more

This is the best Petsmart in town! The staff are so helpful and nice! They really helped us get everything together for our new puppy! Their groomers are great too! We've only worked with Alphonso but he did an amazing job on our miniature schnauzer! I highly recommend! read more
