I have an issue with my dog. He had a small growth on his hind left leg kinda on the inside. It is…read morebleeding and he is in pain, not really eating or drinking. I have tried wrapping it but the wrap won't stay on, we have tried everything we can to help him but he is getting worse... I have tried to call emergency vets at Clyde's Animal Clinic but because we don't have money right now, they do not care about your animal unless you have money! my dog is bleeding to death, won't eat or drink, in pain, panting like crazy and they won't do ANYTHING to help him!! We have tried everything we can at home but needs to be seen by a vet but they won't see him because we don't have the money to "pay for services" right now. I offered to give them our debit card information and they could charge it on Friday the 31st but they still won't do anything to help our dog. I realize they need money to pay for supplies and such but the care of the animal SHOULD BE more important! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL! THEY JUST BLOCKED ME BECAUSE I GAVE THEM A BAD REVIEW! THEY DONT WANT PEOPLE KNOWING THEY DONT TRULY CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMALS!

Horrible. This shop should be shut down for neglect. The owner seems to not know much about what…read morehes doing although he thinks he does. The fish tanks are incredibly dirty along with the rest of the store. Extremely disorganized. The guinea pig cages were very upsetting. No hay, no hideys, and not enough room at all for them to run around. I find it extremely disappointing that they couldnt even supply hay for the pigs to munch on. Hay is 80% of their diet and there was none in sight....They use the worse kind of bedding for their guinea pigs, pine shavings. This can cause respiratory infections and skin irritations. The owner tried saying it was fine though and he knew what he was doing. A simple google search and some research can tell you otherwise. One of the guinea pigs they had there was a bit of a nibbler (probably due to the fact that there was no hay for him to chew on, without it their teeth can overgrow and cause complications) but the owner mentioned that this pig was "an asshole" and if he kept up the biting he was going to feed it to a snake....I was disgusted by his behavior and straight up ignorance. Who the hell says that to a customer an expects them to believe that they actually care about the animals they are caring for and selling??? Disgusting.

After more than 2years of going to Gina to have our pups groomed we recently had the most…read moredistressing experience. Am still not sure exactly what happened but after 4 hrs we felt sure they had to be done. Walked into the salon to discover that one of our dogs had blood all down his front legs, around his mouth. When I called attention to this Gina verbally attacked me in a most unprofessional and unexpected way. She refused to tell me what had happened, our pup was shaking and trying to get out the gate and to my husband. After several minutes of her yelling and calling me names she finally screamed that she had cut his tongue. We immediately took our pup to a local vet. At that time not only was he bleeding from his mouth but also from his nose. He was very traumatized and required extensive care from the vet, resulting in a vet bill in excess of $800. Later that evening my husband received a text from Gina saying that she was closing her salon and if we needed help locating another groomer to let her know and ended with the words, "I'm sorry."

Next day got a text saying there was an opening and unseen the cost would be XX.XX which is a LOT less than what I paid elsewhere. Warmly greated and time was taken to MEET the dogs for the first time! Nice with great questions about the dogs to make sure all goes well. I…read moregot my bunny spayed and they sent her home with NO pain meds and a cone on her (rabbits shouldn't have a cone on them since they aren't nipping at stitches and if they ever are-- putting them in a onesie prevents it) She was in misery refused to move or drink and was grinding her teeth in pain. I took off the cone asap and it took me hours to get her to even drink lil drips. (Rabbits can go into GI Stasis if they stop eating for 6-8 hrs this can be fatal if not noticed). I feel so guilty since it's common sense to give an animal (or human) painkillers after. i didn't connect the pieces until after the first night. When I called the lady refused to even ask the doctor to prescribe pain meds to a post-op bunny. I wish I took her to a different vet. Never went back since. If you can afford the drive (Taylorville) I suggest Countryside Animal Hospital.
