They have great people working at Pet Smart in Mount Pleasant. Adopt an animal there. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable.

This was the best experience. Brad is a great trainer and our girl (a 2.5 year old Aussie) loved…read morehim. At one lesson we arrived early and took a quick walk. As we approached Brad, I put her in a sit. Brad was calling her name and whistling for her. She wanted to go to him so bad and was whining but she held her sit. When I finally released her she ran at full speed over to him. Recently my husband and I had our girl off leash and we allowed her to get a long distance from us. As soon as I called her she came running. My husband said that that experience alone was well worth the training. We're also finally able to have company over and our girl in the house at the same time. Before she would torment guests (wanting to be paid attention to) but now she will actually go to sleep when guests are here. The training allows them to be dogs and allows us to be able to keep them safe. I would do it again with no hesitation at all.

We spent a lot of time reviewing trainers who just did not work for us. Britney at Off Leash K9 was a God Send! Both dogs did the 2 week board and train. Now back home they are a pleasure to walk. They don't jump to play at other dogs and several people in our condo building have remarked on how well behaved they now are. People with dogs no longer run in the other direction when they see us walking along. This training was worth every cent and I am recommending Off Lease K9 to everyone with a problem dog or any new dog owner to get the pet/owner relationship off the the perfect start.

I called to schedule an appt for 4 year old golden retriever. During the call, we had a…read moreconversation about which shampoo they suggest would be appropriate for our Gal. We discussed that her skin is irritated and has some bumps, the person recommended that we avoid the Furminator and go with their oatmeal bath for sensitive skin. We discussed my not wanting perfume spray because she is sensitive. She asked if we wanted her yeah brushed. We decided to do that too. The person offered me a 1PM appt. I asked if I could drop her earlier because I had an appointment. She said yes but no earlier than 12:30pm. When I arrived- I checked in I shared that at times our gal could be lazy not wanting to roll over and that she is easily motivated by food. A woman came out from behind the gate and slipped the blue groomer tether around her neck and started to pet her. I turned to leave and the woman called her manager over and asked her to examine my dog's leg. As I mentioned it was irritated from her dermatitis. Then I was told that the calloused area could end up bleeding so they could not take the dog. I had just been in 45 minutes of traffic and was scheduled for an appointment where my dog could not be with me. They told me it was Petsmart policy. I asked why they didn't inform people of this when appointments were booked and why there was nothing about my lengthy conversation at the time of booking that would have given me the heads up. I was turned away. We have groomed at Petsmart in the past and have never had anyone meticulously sort through our pet's hair like this. I can understand their perspective on this- but if it is so mission critical then it should be reviewed with customers before they come - during the booking process or as a part of the online check box where you acknowledge that your pet will be current on vaccinations on the date of your appointment. While I was there a gentleman my senior came to get his two dogs after a bath. As he was checking out, the staff member mentioned that the with the dogs being older the grooming was a bit difficult and that in the future he might want to consider using a private groomer. UM- Petsmart is a private groomer- and he seemed very taken off guard. His dogs were well behaved and able to walk to the rear of the store with no issues. So unless you are bring a Barbie or American Girl Dog with no pulse- this is the wrong place to be getting your beloved fury friend! 1- If is policy customer should be told about it. Just like they tell us about vaccines. 2 - They should have special parking close to the door so people aren't bringing their pets across busy parking lots. 3 - Is there a reason that you put grooming in the rear of the store? 4 - When a customer asks to speak with a manager it should not take 10+ minutes. When the manager approaches the customer they might want to introduce themselves and when concluding the discussion they should say is the anything we can do to make this right. I am starting to think that customer service has slipped away - even AI knows how to thank a costumer!!!!

1-Star Review - PetSmart, 1301 Oak Forest Lane, Myrtle Beach…read more I visited this location around 7:00 PM to purchase several dog items. Because I am not familiar with the store layout, I politely asked an employee for help locating specific products. The employee, who indicated he was overseeing the store that evening, responded with visible irritation. When I returned to ask for clarification on an item I could not find, he raised his voice and stated, "You dashers need to look around and find things yourself." There were only a few customers in the store at the time, and my request was polite and reasonable. The interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and dismissive. As a paying customer, I expect basic professionalism and courtesy when asking for assistance. I left feeling that the treatment I received was unfair and, frankly, biased. No customer should feel uncomfortable simply for asking for help locating merchandise. I hope corporate leadership reviews management conduct at this location and ensures all customers are treated with equal respect.
