Generally, I buy treats and food here because of the comparable prices to Petco. Their house brand bedding isn't "bulk" enough for me (not a large enough amount, nor cheap enough). They also don't usually have that 96oz bag of hay (generally, the best deal out there). They have an extensive variety of small animals and fish. Best purchases here so far: -both chinchilla cages (GREAT deals) -brushes for the bunny (actually cat and dog brushes, but the Petsmart brand is cheap and still good quality). Get their in-store savings card- you'll get some savings in store (the guinea pigs were $5 off for card holder), and recently I've been getting money-off coupons in my email (like $1 off pet food and $5 off your next purchase-and I can print two of each).

I had taken ill and had not been able to continue her training in those two areas. Pete was not to interact with my puppy at his consultation meeting, but he decided to put an over-sized prong collar on her, a leash, and tell her "heel" as if she knew what he wanted. The next thing I knew, Pete had my dog hanging in the air with her twisting her neck, choking and feet dangling. The next day. Pete apologized to me saying that she jumped on him and he thought she was going to bite him so he had to take control. I could accept that had he not lynched her 3 times. It took that long before I got out of the shock of seeing what he was doing to my puppy and spoke up for him to stop. Pete came across arrogant and disrespectful. He didn't ask where he should sit but walked right through my living room to the dining area, sat down at the dining table, and put his "gear" and books on the table where we eat. (Can't un-ring the bell so I didn't ask him to move to the living room.) Overall, I think Pete tried too hard to impress me with his way of taking control. In the alternative, he doesn't know the difference between showing confidence and taking control. Taking control does not require disrespecting the person, their property, and certainly not being cruel to animals. His excuse was that he is new to the business.
