We met with the owner, Cindy Wold assured us that Panzer would be welcomed and that she would work with him. She was very knowledgeable in dog behavior and within 1 week she had him join the other dogs and worked wonders with his leash training. We had been using a harness on him to control him on walks but now we have him on a regular leash. The facility, A Dog's Life is clean, spacious and well ventilated. Her staff is very attentive and are with the dogs at all times, you can see that they do care for their 'guests'. I highly recommend this place.

His litter had been basically abandoned by the breeder for his first 7 months, missing the very important socialization time in a puppy's life. It left him terrified of the world, people, and especially garbage trucks. But he loves dogs and is the sweetest guy. In the two years since we adopted him we have met with dog behavioralists that told us it would be a challenge for him to ever be happy. But we have been patient and worked on trust over the couple years. But trying to train a scared dog and not obliterate trust was tough. Then we found Love Dog. They have been fantastic. We actually are getting somewhere now. They have trained him on an e-collar (just a vibration works on him). I initially didn't want to go that route, but it has been transformational. They seem to love him almost as much as we do and their patience has been obvious. This has helped him progress an amazing amount and we are very proud of him. THANK YOU LOVE DOG! But at the beginning of this summer we got a Dutch shepherd who had spent too many weeks with his guard dog mother and not been socialized. We needed help in a big way and Cissy was called again. She really helped us not only with training but by working with her own dogs to help him reorient his behavior. She helped us to find options for behavioral therapy if it was needed. Fortunately, due to her help it wasn't needed. He is now 7 months old and he is a great puppy that our family enjoys. I tutor algebra and he will now under the table and lick my student's feet. Many of these are side effects from the Maintnance medications, necessary for daily living. This facility has beauty on the grounds and inside the ample indoor training hall. With equipment necessary for these marvelous people and heaven sent fur friend companions patiently. And, eager to accomplish the tasks to succeed at graduating from their class. To serve and be a helpful friend to their companion. I'm humbled by the unconditional love and kindness. Not just from the staff at this beautiful facility. Marc with Bark Busters and his program was amazing with our dog Niko!! Niko has always been a sweet…read moredog but has had numerous behavior problems with recognizing us as the leaders of the house. Especially when it came to disciplining him when he was bad and he would just growl at us and snap his teeth in defiance. After a few hours with Marc, Niko instantly improved on being walked with a leash and not walking ahead, also being called to sit next to me and not move. These exercises and more condition the dog to recognize our alpha position over him. What's more, last night he jumped on the couch after he had a bath and laid on there (full knowing that was bad) and I got on his case and disciplined him like I usually do. But this time....NO growing back or snapping his teeth! We didn't even train that part with him but he KNEW where his place was and he just sat there and listened. My wife and I couldn't believe it! Marc and his program has worked beyond our expectations and know he will be able to further train him in other areas using this system. Our dogs, Linus and Mack, were struggling with leash pulling and reactivity, and walks were becoming a daily challenge. Orlando was calm, professional, and incredibly effective. He gave us simple, practical tools that worked immediately. By the end of the session, both dogs were more responsive and easier to walk.
