I spoke to others around the area and a good amount said they don't go there anymore and if necessary they go to muddy paws. Dealing with this dog kennel has been very unprofessional and I don't recommend it to anyone in the area. I hope they do better/ update things because right now it seems like I got sold on false advertising.

While it is a bit of drive out of the cities, I believe the extra time to get there is worth the extra attention my cats receive while they are staying there. Nancy, the owner, has several years of animal care experience under her belt and it definitely shows in how she approaches and attends to my cats. She calmed my "first-timer" jitters and handles the occasionally challenging Mr Cat with care and respect. My other cat, Stinson, is on a medication routine that Nancy maintains just as if he were at home. Food, litter, medication administration, and lots of attention are all included in the daily rate. Every cat(s) gets their own color-coded room complete with sofa, cat tree, hiding spaces, and giant window that looks out into the woods. A couple of the rooms even have bunk beds. I recently boarded my cats there during a two week trip and didn't worry about them once. I definitely recommend Casey's Place if you are looking for a safe and caring place to board your cats.

I have a 5 year old mixed breed dog, who is very quick to learn new tricks, has been to multiple training classes with several different instructors and I hesitated a little bit at the basic training because I thought she knew it all. Boy was I wrong. Working on basic commands in a different way was very eye opening for me, and we have changed some of our routines based on what I learned in this class. My dog has trouble at the door when people enter our house, so we are working on that, and the simple sit or down stay is really important for her. If she can master a long down stay, then we can test her with people at the door. It isn't something I even thought of. The importance of her looking at me when I call her name is another thing that I had not worked on, but we do that now every time I take her for a walk. If she should get away from me, and has mastered that then I know she will look at me when I call her name. My expectations of this class were exceeded, and I am very happy that I attended. I look forward to attending additional classes in the future, and learning more about the behavior of my dog and the other dogs in the class. Watching them interact and having Justin explain what's really going on in their dog brains was enlightening. His training style is non-judgmental and takes into consideration what you want for you and your dog, which is refreshing having been to many different training programs who think their way is the only way.
