UNTIL, later that night, with her cone on, she keeps crying and trying to itch her ear but the cone is there.. i take the cone off and what do you know. they left her EAR OUT of the bandage??? I went there to get her wound wrapped, and they wrap her head and not her ear??? The cone was on her ear, pinching it. THATS, why she was crying. i called blue pearl and they said i can try and shove it back in. which wasn't possible, since she was crying and freaking out. i told the lady at blue pearl and she said i can take the wrap off, put her ear in and wrap it back up. i did as told.. UNTIL. They. Did. NOT. Change. The gauze. Dry bled all over it. And it can't be from her ear, because guess what? THEY DIDNT PUT IT IN THE WRAP.

The store itself was smaller but clean and had lots of product! First thing I noticed was it was a little chaotic, understandable for a nail trim special event, although no staff ever called out where to check in and where to check out or where to get in line for the trims. There was one groomer who was very very sweet, even stepping out of the grooming room to trim nails for a shy dog while their owner held them, they must be a regular because I overheard the owner say "see you next month again". Our little Bruce went in first and I anticipated screaming but he was really screaming. Thank goodness for the windows into the grooming room because I saw him thrashing around and immediately went over asked to step in after hearing the groomer (different one than mentioned prior) raising her voice pretty loud at my dog a few times and saying things like "stop it", "that's enough", etc. I also saw her put some powder on his toenail but she never mentioned during or after the trim if she trimmed to short or what. Once I was holding him, it went much smoother but I didn't her tone of voice with him or the limited info on the powder. My other big, shy dog was hesitant to go in but I was able to encourage him in and he did fine. He actually seemed to be doing pretty good at first, I had asked for the filing on his if he tolerated it. Although when I had stepped in to hold our small dog, Bart (our big dog) FELL OFF THE TABLE, hanging briefly by the neck holder thing! The girl doing Bruce ran over to help lift him up and he was just fine but startled. Both of their nails are pretty good, 8.5/10. I do understand the chaos of this event and a full room or barking, whining dogs. I can imagine it's not the groomers favorite day or event. I understand some level of annoyance but also expect good service at the same time. It was not bad at all, it was alright and we were able to grab a couple bones on the way out which the boys will enjoy. Not 100% sure we will come back for the nail trim as we can do it at home but need to hold them like babies and it's not ideal but we will see. This might be better for those doggies who don't really mind nail trims and you're not confident in doing them yourself.

Then when it came time for our dogs to be boarded Sophia was not around and her husband Travis was in charge. I left detailed instructions with their routine and pill schedules and it was never followed and honestly probably never looked at again after I left. They were not getting water when they were there and when they got home they drank 2 bowls of water instantly. They most likely never got there allergy meds as they were super itchy, and I know they didn't get all their hip and joint meds. I always provide specific treats due to allergies and they were never given to them. At the most they were let out a max of 3 times a day for around 20 minutes max at a time. I know this as there are cameras to watch your dogs when you're gone. One day the camera was shut off for 12 hours. The day we picked them up they were in the kennel for at least 6 hours without being let out. They never got let out in the morning before 8:30 AM. The water bucket they used for cleaning the kennel areas was disgusting and had poop in the water. My dogs never have accidents but being locked up in Jail all day they had to relieve themselves somewhere. All the husband talks about is playing his video games. Obviously he's LAZY and shouldn't be able to be around animals. I was woke up to a dog puking the 1st night home and now I will have vet bills from them being in such unsanitary situations. I reached out to Sophia about all this and was told she has been getting numerous complaints and intends to scale back the kennel in accordance with Travis's abilities to improve the care he provides, back to basics kinds of things. This business should not be around at all with the animal cruelty and neglect that comes with it.

Snoopy loves to go to what we lovingly call Kennel Club and has become a happier dog, living his best life because of the positive interactions he has playing with all the dogs.
