Absolute lack of professionalism. After traveling 13 miles to see an available pet cat at 1130 am…read moreat their office which their staff person demonstrated, I was smitten by the the cute kitten. I would have snatched it up but I left my carrier. Iasked for an application to make sure I got it. There were no prior call on it. I asked twice and was told I could return at 200pm to fill it out as they only do appointments so I did. I returned at 130 pm with carrier, and an elderly woman opened the door looked me up and down strangely and said its gone! Somebody came for it, first come first serve. I said impossible it was only 2 hours? and only 2 cars in the parking lot. She said It's your fault you left the carrier, thats how it' is. I asked about the other two tabbies I saw and she said..They are spoken for and would not show me them. I'm 75 years old, worked for the county, retired and have several cats, i've taken good care of over 10 years. I'm sorry she didn't think someone with my looks, (I'm Hispanic)deserved a cat even if it was free. I told her I read the Yelp reviews and despite the negative reports, had given her the benefit of doubt. Yelp was spot on!..I then told her I wasn't going to argue with her it was just wrong. She then demanded my name, and I declined saying read the Yelp report. I pray someone good got the kittens and they were not simply rushed to some experimental lab that prizes cats like that the way some handle human body parts at Funeral homes.. I am so unnerved right now but hopes it helps anyone dealing with them I felt something fishy when the girl would not provide me an application and make it easier for her when I got back. God Bless, and Good luck in your search for a pet..just not with these people. I'm filing a complaint with the county, their partner, because something does not sit right with that place.

Love them! They saved my Shih Tzu and I'll forever be grateful for the xtra time we have together…read more I've been to several vets in Myrtle Beach and honestly haven't been impressed with any of them. One vet wanted to do surgery when they found Roscoe had eaten sand at the beach a few days earlier. When I asked questions they seemed annoyed and continued typing on their laptop. I left him there for several hrs since they said he needed medication and they couldn't guarantee his outcome. I came back later and when I asked who stays with them overnight I was informed that no one would be there. I then took him to Beaver Run. They contacted the vet and was told that nothing had been done xcept an IV for hydration. The vet at the ER said she was disappointed with the attending Dr at On Point also.

My dog had a severe allergic reaction to Advantix. Her face and body had huge hives and I was…read moreafraid she'd stop breathing. We checked in at 9:30pm and waited for 7hrs just to be seen. The tech took my dog at the 6hr mark and left the room with no word as to what they were doing or if they were going to be doing anything. Turns out they took my dog and put her in a kennel for two hours!! Why take her, if you're not even close to ready to look at her, she would be happier with her parents!! They said the wait "Is because they had one Vet on a Sunday that we had the wait!" Why wouldn't they have an emergency on-call additional vet available? I asked for them to quickly trim her nails and they said yes and later refused. The hospital was so cold we were freezing the entire time so I told the vet and she said sarcastically "I'm cold too!" Well I'm thinking they need to turn off the A/C!!!! I have been a pet owner for over 50 years and this was by far THE WORST TREATMENT I'VE EVER RECEIVED! We had less than five minutes with the vet after 8hrs of waiting!!!!!!! My dog could've died and they simply didn't care. If they are the ONLY AVAILABLE VET, you don't have much choice, but no customer should EVER have to wait 7hrs to see someone, no vet should ever disappear with your dog with ZERO explanation for two hours, and no hospital should be so cold as to make everyone miserable. My dog survived...no thanks to this animal hospital. But to their credit, and $350 later, my dog was given Benadryl and a steroid. But if we a choice, we would never return.
