I did not leave "happy", I had done what I could and I did not want to argue or fight for more. To put it in context, you were yelling/arguing with another customer beside me for almost 5 minutes just prior. I wanted to leave as I was in a rush and, uncomfortable and delayed, and I had already made it clear I was disappointed by YOU LOSING A STONE and not fixing the actual thing (what you thought you could fix it in 1 minute in the back??). I didn't bring it back in because I don't trust you to fix it. And the one chance you had to own your mistake and apologize, you instead act defensive and blame me. I think that speaks volumes. You never should have charged me in the first place considering the bulk of the work wasn't done. Good luck with your business, I'm fine with the wasted time and money but it's my right to leave a review that explains what happened. Potential customers beware. ---- Brought in my wife's engagement ring to be fixed (the claws that hold the main stone in place had bent away) and to replace the tiny stones in the band with two spares I brought in. I was told they could fix the claws (fix! not just bend - ie add gold) When I came to pick it up they hadn't done anything to the prongs, I legitimately think they forgot. They also had LOST one of the band stones. They then proceeded to bend the band back (which was not the initial ask). They reduced my bill by 20$ for the lost stone. I got the ring home and my wife tries it on and turns it to the light and you can still clearly see the gap is there. I essentially paid to have a jeweller polish some jewelry, install one band stone (which I brought) and lose another (which I had bought previously) and waste my time. If I hadn't noticed that the stone was still loose at the counter they would have literally given me the ring after doing nothing to it but still charging me. I'm sure they're good for some things, and the people were friendly enough, however, for repairs or thing a that require communication and consideration, I would take your jewelry elsewhere. ------ I hope this helps others as I didn't see any reviews like this before now and wish I had. The photos don't really do it justice but it has play still (and one of the claws is clearly not the right shape) and we're waiting to go to a different jeweller before she wears it. We also had a custom couch made. Again, the design is beautiful but the quality of the work has a few bobbles to it. For example, it's obvious that they miscut a piece of fabric for one of the cushions so they just added an another piece. It's the only cushion with that extra piece added. Also, the inside seams weren't serged, so they are frayed. The couch looks good and has held up well, but the cutting of corners is noticeable to someone who sews. Items were delivered on time. I had an unfortunate experience in that I placed an order that this…read more individual failed to honor. He asked for references of other stores that I have ordered with and wanted my gov't ID. Now, when placing an order online, how many people are using this information? I can appreciate someone double checking, but his paranoia and lack of honor in fulfilling the order after I placed it and provided the references to him was dishonest as he stated that there was not enough history with the other companies even though I gave him the RCM as a reference obliging him i would not provide an ID as I reside in the US and that can easily lead to digital fraud. That said, he clearly did not want to sell me the product, came up with an excuse that he needed more references and I was stunned that he tried to create problems for me with other vendors. . These vendors ignored him and my orders were fulfilled. Those companies I will be patronizing again. I would recommend AVOIDING this store due to his reneging on purchases, defamation and wasting customer time. It is a hassle that is unnecessary and unwarranted. I wonder what he does with the digital ID's he would collect over email. Overall, my experience is that if you have an online business, honor the transaction or spell out the conditions on your website for reneging on a paid order. He did neither, but he did refund my Paypal account. Ihope this helps others from wasting their time.

I will only rarely check condition and any issues with a prior purchase have been dealt with promptly and courteously. The general and jazz new arrivals seem to have good turnover on monthly visits, after visiting seriously for the past ten years I have had nothing but great experiences. I have come across more clean, reasonably priced original pressings here than any other record store.
