Careful with the entrance booth, sometimes they stop you, sometimes they don't, they definitely allow coolers though despite saying they don't.

Lots of affordable parking ($8) with easy in and out traffic. Friendly, helpful staff throughout the stadium. Reasonably priced food, drink and lots of in game entertainment. The current club has some high draft choices playing for it. There is also a rich history of players starting in Appleton and going on to star in the big leagues. The tickets are priced to still allow families to come to the ballpark. Seating in the well-maintained stadium range from the grass seats along the baselines, to party seats in the outfield and a nice set up of box seats (for those so inclined). The T-Rats (local nickname) have several mascots and a number of play areas inside the stadium for younger children. The organization does a great job catering to all ages. We attended on "Dinosaur Night" which featured life sized dinosaurs inside and outside the park. The kids both large and small enjoyed the giveaways and activities provided. Good baseball, a good selection of food and drinks and a fun atmosphere make the Timber Rattlers a worthwhile experience.

It is located on the north side of Appleton sandwiched between Northland Avenue and Ballard road, both easily accessible from highway 41. It is a huge park and your children can run around freely! They have what I call a Dream Park play structure, that accommodates multiple ages and boasts access for any mobility needs, which is great! During the summer, there are "misting showers" that the kids can press and cool off without getting drenched. The city of Appleton also hosts its 4th of July event here and that is a fun experience in and of itself. There is a pond, bandstand and shelter to rent, which makes for a complete peaceful and pretty environment to spend time in. Aside from huge fields and a great hill to climb (a HUGE sledding spot in winter,) sports fields (baseball, etc.) we will always return to Memorial Park.

I do not mind walking but crossing the busy streets on foot was dangerous. The venue itself is really nice reminds me of a more modern timberattlers stadium. We had tickets thanks a YELP give-away for the club section. Came with 3 tickets for drinks, covered seats on the second floor and all you can eat food. The food was good for a buffet I liked the salad options. The drinks where great because you could have mixed drinks or like us have some awesome craft brews. The game was so fun to watch it was 90's night so all 90's music. They do a ton of fun games during the innings. Flash the bat carrying dog was my favorite part. I cannot wait to be back!

Found this place on the trusy Yelp app and it definitely did not disappoint! This playground area is FIRST RATE. Huge, good for young and older kids and the whole place is fenced in so you don't have to keep TOO close an eagle-eye on your kids especially if they are a little bigger. Plenty of places for parents to sit both in the sun and in the shade which is nice and there are also decently lit and pretty clean (for a park) bathrooms right next to the playground. The sand pit was pretty big and nice although one of the shovels was broken. I also liked how it was a bit distant from the rest of the playground so that sand doesn't get tracked all over. Overall a very nice community playground we'd definitely stop again on the way through town.
