We have lived in this area for awhile, and have been eyeing this rotisserie for awhile. It is very small, but always looks well-kept from the outside. Today we decided to try out the food, and thankfully were not disappointed. The interior is VERY tiny, but very clean and surprisingly inviting for such a petite establishment. The owner was behind the counter and extremely friendly, even before my husband (who is bilingual) told him in passing that this was our first time there. Hubby ordered the special of the day (the club sandwich) and I ordered a chicken breast. Both came with a nice-sized side order of fries, a container of their BBQ sauce, and a container of coleslaw. After visiting all the other popular chicken places (St-Hubert, Fusee, Scores, etc) where I swear they all use the same sauce base with less or more pepper per place, Vic's uses an entirely different sauce than I am used to, and I REALLY enjoyed the difference. More tomato-y with a kick, and went VERY well with both the chicken and the fries. They accept cash, Interac, Visa, and MasterCard, and deliver as well as have group specials.

It was classic poutine but with beans, corn and other vegetables with guacamole and sour cream on the side. The atmosphere was very cool with music videos projected on a wall. Our waiter was a sweetheart. All four of us absolutely loved our meals that night. What an awesome way to start our weekend getaway in Quebec!!

Odd choice to me to put mushrooms in it since I've never had butter chicken with mushrooms. The Chicken was thin sliced, I was expecting more like chunks. Regardless this was a solid 4 in my book. We also tried the Hat Trick which is basically a three meat poutine with bacon, ground beef and hot dogs. This was also solid, not as unique, but good. Probably a 3.75. we ordered the mega sized for both, which made the 2 dishes enough food for 3-4 people depending how hungry you are. We wanted the leftovers. The down side to this experience was the service. The place was nearly empty. The server passed us with a pitcher of water in have and didn't even fill the glasses. When we ordered a diet Pepsi instead of getting a fountain drink we got it in a can (both options were in the menu, fountain was cheaper), why not ask us if not sure what we want? At the end we waited a while to see the server and instead just ended up asking the hostess for our to-go containers. Nothing horrible, just meh. We pick up and take away the crinkly fries and cheese curds smothered in gravy to enjoy at home. The regular poutine is delicious but the chicken poutine takes things up a notch. The chicken is a mix but seems to be primarily dark meat. There are multiple size options - all of which will come out bigger than you expect. The small is enough for a sitting and a half for me. I love the crinkle of the fries but wish they were a little crispier to withstand the gravy and curds. The gravy is the right consistency (not too thin or thick) but could use a little more flavor for my tastes.

I'll be honest, this Sando can/should be improved a lot. I would give the sando a 2/5. You guys can do better here. With the sando, I upgraded to side of poutine. This was the winner of the night. Very simple classic poutine: fries, curds, gravy. It was excellent. The fries are thin and crispy. I prefer this over thicker cut fries. Gravy and curds were good. They didn't put so much gravy that everything got soggy. I thought it was a very very solid poutine. 5/5. The Beignet were also very good. A maple sauce of some sort I believe. Presented nicely. 4/5. Service was good. Atmosphere was really nice. Prices were reasonable. Definitely could see myself being a regular if I lived here.
