I hired Pflugerville Pfence Company to install a fence. While the fence itself turned out fine, the crew damaged my irrigation system during the installation. They repaired the broken pipe, but when the system ran later, it wouldn't shut off and ran for five straight hours. I've emailed four times and received almost no response. I also had to clean up piles of dirt, debris, and leftover materials myself. A section of my rock bed was dug up during the repair and never restored. After more than two weeks of trying to resolve this directly, I filed a formal BBB complaint. Really disappointed in the lack of accountability and follow-through. Billing was an absolute NIGHTMARE. BUYER and Neighbor beware!!! I would not recommend these folks to anyone. I did not hire them my neighbor did and let me tell you they did a great job on his fence. However, they remove shared post and did not reconnect mine, leaving my fence comprised. They came out twice and tried to sort of fix it leaving me go put in new fence posts and repair my own fence that way was perfectly fine before the started. So not only did I not hire them, but they also damaged my property, refused to fix it properly, promised to come and repair and were no shows, and left me holding the bag. I would not recommend these to anyone would recommend that everyone steer clear. read more

Had Terry come out after a storm caused my old rear fence to fail. After reviewing the damage, Terry gave me a very reasonable quote for the work to be done. After I had several quotes in, I decided to go with Terry. As my fence was shared with 2 neighbors, I asked if he'd mind speaking to them and seeing if they would split the cost; he did! My neighbors got back with me, saying they would get their own estimates and decide whether or not to use Pflugerville Pfence Company. After a day, they both decided to go with Terry. Cierra handled all of the split payments and got everything handled neatly and on time. The fence is a "neighbor friendly" one that alternates sections back and forth as my rear neighbors wanted...and now, I don't have my neighbor's dog running around. The fence looks sturdy, well-built, and should last another 10-15 years, with luck. Terry and Cierra answered all of my questions and had everything done at budget and on time. I had a terrible experience with Pflugerville fence company. In my entire life, Terry is the single most immature adult I have ever dealt with. He refused to answer my calls or voicemails, was extremely/embarrassingly immature and threatening when I refused to pay based on the quality of what was done. Poor quality (4+ consecutive fence posts set at ~12" depth), refusal to acknowledge the problem, and an immediate attempt to cover it up (by having the crew cut the posts' tops off). I refused to pay, and they ultimately (after many childish phone calls) had to come back and fix it. Terry threateningly told me if they pulled the posts and they were 18-24" (per the contract) they would charge extra... none were, all were 8-14" deep. Shoddy quality and customer threats...embarrassing to run a business this way. Avoid this company at all costs... I had a recent experience with FenceMasters that was 180deg different. My elderly parents spent over $3k on a small enclosure fence on their patio. They had issues with the company showing up on time to do the initial construction and now months later we have called numerous times concerned about the partition swinging back and forth when the strong winds come through. I'm concerned the partition may come crashing down in a major storm. I had this company replace my fence and the work they did was EXCELLENT. BUT ... the billing was a nightmare. I paid them by check for 1/2 half of cost on the day the quote was done and the balance on the day they installed the fence. THEN ... they proceeded to email bills for other people fences to me, COUNTLESS TIMES and when we tried to resolve this issue they sent more bills for other people fences, insisting they were our bills and need to be paid. I do not recommend this company. I have been waiting since March 27th for the cleaning & staining of my fence to be completed. The 50% deposit was made, balance to be paid upon completion. Pflugerville Pfence Company will not complete the job. I've called the owner multiple times (no answer, no voicemail). I have called the office and was told someone would contact me to schedule the completion of the job (didn't happen). I've texted the installer (no reply). I called the office back and left a voicemail for a return call (no return call). I've texted the owner the pictures (sample attached) of the in-completed fence job (no reply). I am not a customer of Pflugerville fence, but I am a neighbor of a customer. I am telling in this review, if you care about your neighbors, you will not be a customer of Pflugerville Fence. The crew for the neighbors' project was rude and had little respect for private property. They made a path on my front lawn, trespassed in my back yard (even the utilities ask for permission), dug holes for posts and dumped the dirt on my property and left supplies on the ground killing the grass. I tried to talk to Francisco, (he seemed to be in charge and was bilingual) about the damage the crew was doing to this property. He just walked away. I called the company twice about the damage and left messages with no response. I have taken pictures of these incidents. Please do your homework before contracting with company. read more

Everything was great until day of install. Salesman was super nice and easy to work with. Overall scheduling + process was great as well -- and made us feel these guys knew what they were doing. On the day of install, their crew showed up not knowing exactly what to do and instead asked me how to do things. I immediately called the owner to say we were having trouble communicating and didn't have a good feeling about things. The main problem, is that we just did nearly $10k in work to excavate our yard and remove our neighbors bamboo -- and then installed 3' tall x 100' bamboo guard to keep it from growing into our yard again. I had a property line string out, and pointed to the exposed bamboo guard to tell the crew to stay away from it. I even used google translate to try and explain what to do. I then left for work. When I came back around lunch I saw that the crew cut into the bamboo guard in multiple spots -- which would now allow for it to grow back into the yard again. I asked them to stop. I called the owner again (and I was absolutely frustrated) and explained what was going on and how mad we were. He said he would take care of it AND even said that we wouldn't have to pay if it wasn't resolved. I even responded saying I wasn't trying to get free work, but just wanted it fixed and done right. He said they would take care of it -- and for me to leave extra bamboo guard out for the crew to use. I left it out, and they didn't use it. About 3 weeks go by and sure enough, bamboo is growing through those damaged areas. In order for us to properly repair this we would have to tear down the fence, tear out concrete planters that we just did, excavate our yard again, purchase new bamboo guard, and then redo it all again. He will deny this, but he initially laughed at me and basically said this was on me for not properly marking things -- and that his contract states everything. Basically not taking any responsibility and instead continuing to be rude. I've tried talking through things as calm as possible, but he's not willing to make repairs or meet in the middle -- instead he's threatening to tear the fence down and call it even. We would have been totally happy with the work if they didn't damage the bamboo guard. The fence looks great. Their processes were good. But when you have a problem...good luck. We paid another contractor $1100 to fix the problem. And now we're paying the remainder of our bill out of fear that some hothead is going to come on our property, tear the fence down, and cause even more damage than before. Also noticed that he added a $21 late fee on our invoice. Nice touch. read more

We had Pflugerville Pfence Co install 3 sides of fence on our property in 2016. Initially the fence "swayed" in the back. They did rectify that. Fast forward to 2020 and we had them install the 4th side, which was a disaster - poor workmanship and lots of arguing with Terry, who finally offered a discount on the pricing. 2023 - the back left side of the fence blew down in a storm. 2024 - late summer another large section went down. Called them, emailed them...no response. After EIGHT (8) years, we had to replace 20 posts and in truth, they may all need to be replaced. They had not been installed correctly, not enough concrete and were rotting, gates were dangling. I would NEVER recommend them, but rather...BUYER BE WARE!!! read more

They showed up unannounced to do the fence between my neighbor's yard and mine. We were not home, but they did the work anyway. The neighbor's new front fence doesn't align with our existing fence. The craftsmanship is poor. There are gaps and exposed nails in the back. We called and emailed our salesperson and were told he was no longer with the company, but they would send someone out. This fence is not holding up at all after only 90 days! Initially I was very impressed with Terry and his responsiveness to my project. He gained my trust & business. Once the actually project started it got shakey.. The fence was install timely but the gates were not complete for almost 2 weeks. His crew boarded up the openings as a temporary solution so my dogs wouldn't escape but this also posed a safety risk. His guy came out to to the welding to install the gate and did a complete sloppy job! His torch burned several of the adjacent boards. Since that time there have been several issues. Boards are popping off & splitting. Many boards are installed crooked. The welded posts and hinges are rusting and it looks like the posts are melting! I have tried contacting Terry multiple times since January. He always responds with a a short "we will take care of it",. Nothing more. No commitment to dates, times, etc. when i ask for a date or time he doesn't respond. Calls to his office go to voicemail. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but the lack of response & professionalism is concerning. This was an $8k job. This fence has not held up at all considering it's a little more than 90 days old. read more

We used this company to install the back of our fence that fell in a rain storm. Terry, the owner, was great with communicating at first, sent us a few quotes, talked to my husband about adding a gate and we expressed that we wanted a gate on the front. The owner said he would come by to take a look at the gate, but never did. The day of the installation, they were to arrive at 8am. Their trailer broke and they did not notify us until after 10am that they were not coming. We took off work that day , so we were disappointed that it was a workday wasted and no apology was given; They showed up another day, installed the fence while we were at work. When I got home, there were loose screws left on my patio and the gate was installed on the back of the fence, not the front! I contacted Terry via email on April 1, 8 and 20, with no response. I wasn't until I forwarded the emails to another contact at the company, that he responds, "The rear gate was contracted." I explain that there must have been a communication issue because the last discussion we had was about the front gate, but he pawns off the email to someone else asking them to give me a quote for a new gate again. No apology for being two days late, nothing about the pile of screws left on my patio, no follow up after payment was made, no response to my or my husband's emails, no attempt to make it right and keep a customer. Not professional. I'll have to go elsewhere and pay for a gate all over again, unfortunately. read more

Trust the five star reviews!!! Terry and his crew are amazing to deal with. The old saying goes "Live and Learn" well I did that with Pflugerville Pfence. I had two large fence projects I went with two different companies, I didn't base my decision on price but because of what each company "said" they would do. The first experience was with a competitor who promised the moon but couldn't deliver, they took two weeks to finish a 8'x200' fence. The reason it took so long was because I held them to the standard they promised. Second project I went with Pflugerville Pfence they did over 200' of high quality fence in 2 days. And the quality was above that of the previous company. They did what they said and more, can't beat that! I'm a customer for life. Outstanding Workmanship We had a wonderful experience with Pflugerville Pfence Company. We love our new Western Red Cedar fence. We wound up with exactly what we wanted to see in our backyard. Initially we asked for a standard quote for a cedar dog ear fence. Then we revised it to include a trim and cap and double gates with windows. Dan (estimator) came by to measure our yard. He provided the quote within a day. Then after asking for changes, Cierra would send over revised quotes and/or reference photos, the same day, sometimes within an hour. Once we were clear on everything we wanted, they put us on the schedule. The whole team has been very responsive. Twice I had called their office and Terry (owner) called me back to say "I think I missed your call." Carlos and his very experienced crew arrived on time on March 6, 2023. They were very pleasant to talk to and they made us feel comfortable with their knowledge of how to build the fence properly. They also work very well together with each person busy doing different tasks throughout the day. We watched as the men independently lifted large stacks of pickets on their shoulder. Although it was a cool day for Texas, it wasn't long before one man had sweat through his t-shirt...and the whole time, he had a smile on his face :-) We were impressed by many things about this company and one is that this company uses screws instead of nails to secure the boards. Please READ THE REVIEWS and TRUST THE BAD ones. Any good reviews have to be either paid for, solicited, or they're from family/friends. We were trying to decide between 3 different fence companies. Being that we just paid a small fortune for renovations in and on our house we were immediately attracted to Pflugerville Fence's low price. That was mistake number one. Should have known there was a reason for a lower cost. Mistake number two was actually using their services. They came out quickly. However, they did an extremely poor job on the fence gates. Like an embarrassingly bad job. See my photos. What's worse is that it's nearly impossible to get a hold of someone there. They will lie to you. They will blow you off. They will be completely apathetic towards your fence issues. They had "scheduled" time with us on two different occasions to come fix the fence, they never showed. We have been waiting for them to come out and fix the problems for 2 months (they did our fence in July, it is September). TWO MONTHS. We have already filed a complaint with the BBB. The only other options we have now are to make reviews warning other potential customers not to use their services. DO NOT BE SUCKERED INTO THEIR AFFORDABLE PRICES (we still paid $2500 for 60 linear ft of fence with two gates). Pay more for skilled labor and better customer service. If you have any issues with the fence after the job is done, you will have to fight tooth and nail to get them to fix it. The first problem took multiple phone calls, texts, emails to get them to fix. Now, just 8 months after installation, the fence is leaning severely. They had someone look at it two months ago and agreed it needed to be repaired, AND SINCE THEN, THEY HAVE STOPPED RESPONDING. This company does NOT back up their work. Please take your business somewhere else and don't chance that you'll get lucky and have a good installation. UPDATE: the owner Terry responded to my Yelp review with bad information. This fence project was all brand new, including the posts and newly poured concrete. None of the old fence was used, and the project was paid in full. They also did not come out multiple times. 5 months after installation our fence is falling apart, warping, separating and neither of our gates work properly. We have paid another contractor to do a bandaid fix to replace the hardware and warped boards since we have attempted numerous times to have Pflugerville Pfence fix the issues which now come up monthly. They came out one time and we now have been pushed off by several months since we requested repair in June. Or they have shown up with no warning, and left without doing any repairs. Pflugervile Pfence repeatedly surprised me, but ever in a good way. Difficult to understand estimates. Repeatedly sending estimates for more work than I requested. Starting work with wooden poles when I'd repeatedly requested metal ones. (Though to be fair, once we figured this out, they were good at stopping, getting me the right bid, rescheduling etc) Generally awful communication from beginning to end. Unfortunately i was in a hurry and went with them. Then when they got out, instead of pulling the old posts, they just cut them off near the ground with a chainsaw, leaving the old post to be a problem for future fence work. When it came time to put up the fence. Instead of using the same kind of metal posts, I've clearly been using to repair my fence in the rest of the yard, they used some new kind, that yes, it looks nicer. but is not nearly as rigid. I can literally make the fence wiggle with just my fingertips. and the whole fence wiggles like a spring. over 30' of fence. The concrete on the posts is still wet when they assembled the fences and left. The posts, concrete and fence all went up on the same day. So clearly the concrete isn't set. From the speed they put the posts up, I strongly doubt they put in a 3 foot footer as I requested. I suspect they drove the posts in (Maybe 3 feet?) and then put at a guess a 1 foot concrete footer. I'm not going find out till our next big wind storm I guess. I've had 2 foot deep concrete footers pulled out by wind, which is why I specified 3 foot and have been using the more rigid round galvanized fence posts up until now.. Like I said the fence looks really nice, but I suspect its strength. The People were nice, but not organized or easy to deal with or communicate successfully with. Honestly, I feel like I'm being overly generous giving them 2 starts. read more

It had been raining pretty regularly during the time we need to have our fence replaced, and the need was getting urgent due to a neighbor's dog breaking through the old, rotten fence pickets. Terry saw a window and took it. His crew arrived early, worked quickly and efficiently. They were courteous, asked questions at a few points during the job about post placement and such. Had this company install a new gate in my wrought iron fence. They gate is coming apart and they hung it in an orientation that does not allow clearance between the gate and AC system. Unprofessional, lazy, and disrespectful. After being referred by a fellow Realtor for a personal project, I was very disappointed with Terry and the team at Pflugerville Pfence. Upon completion I found one of my sprinkler heads broken which was finally fixed after multiple emails, a week+ of waiting, and Terry attacking my integrity on paying the invoice. When they FINALLY came out to fix the sprinkler, they gave me NO notice ahead of time or had any consideration of my privacy or any animals that could've been in the backyard. My neighbor and I had agreed to go half on the fence and they even communicated their responsibility to Pflugerville Pfence, but Terry kept demanding more money from myself (apparently this was one reason they didn't "run" to fix the sprinkler head). When I was walking through my backyard with a landscaper, he pointed out the fact that Terry & his team only cut the old posts and didn't fully remove the concrete. So now I am stuck with about 2 inches of old wooden posts sticking out of the old concrete which will eventually bring termites as the wood continues to rot and potentially eat away at the new wood pickets. Absolutely lazy & zero integrity this company has. I will be telling anyone in the future asking for fence companies to stay away. read more

They were quick and the fence looks great. Really hoping it holds up! My complaints are with the communication, which was slow if at all. A lot of my questions I had to repeatedly ask to get answered. I made one change request (which side of the house the gate would be on) and the work crew who showed up had no idea. The work crew also destoryed our grill in the backyard; the front doors on it were completed broken/smashed in. I'm not sure if something got dropped on it or what happened there. read more

I appreciate your company offering a veteran discount, every little bit helps. The crew completed the job in one day, replacing a 17 year old fence. I think we definitely upgraded here. I was able to get the neighbors on my left and right to contribute to the project, the estimate is concise and leaves no questions. The pfence looks great and I don't forsee any problems, but I know the owner stands behind his work, but I'm confident with PPC's performance. Now that the job is done, they have been extremely unresponsive about taking care of a couple of major issues. My neighbor and I had the fence replaced between our properties. I have two gates that attach to the fence on that side. I had them consult with me about the gates before the job. Both were in good working condition, and I was assured that the gates would be reattached to the new fence. Neither gate was reattached, and the front gate is now splitting and is detached from the hinges. I have called multiple times. I have spoken to Dan several times. I have been assured over and over that someone will come and fix these issues, but nothing has happened. I have been trying to get this fixed for a week now. This is extremely aggravating, disappointing, and very poor service. So if there are any issues with your job, don't expect them to get fixed in any timely manner. read more

I was impressed with the sales rep, who was thorough with his explanation on what I can expect and he delivered a detailed quote within hours of our meeting. By comparison to others I had recently met with he was head and shoulders above the rest. The job was scheduled within two weeks of my accepting the quote and completed in a day. I was very surprised and pleased. The project lead / foreman walked me around the completed work to answer any questions and ensure the work was to my satisfaction. I've received several complements from my neighbors who were also surprised at how quickly the job was done. They were equally impressed with the quality of the work.
