Industrial-strength paper murder! Paid $30 on a Saturday morning to watch a nice young man help shred my past into oblivion. The machines are absolutely deafening though, like standing inside a Boeing 747 that's also having a nervous breakdown, so bring noise-canceling headphones unless you fancy permanent hearing damage. He was fast, kept track of how many boxes we had to shred, and super professional. Great shredding service! Mark was quick to reply to my Yelp inquiry and offered services on a Saturday. Most companies only operate M-F. Was originally quoted for 2 trash bins of paper, but needed an extra bin which cost $40. Other companies charged around $75-85 for about 10 boxes of paper and around $4-5 for every extra box. This place is a little pricier but they do offer mobile shredding and I really appreciate them coming out on a weekend. read more

I looked locally but I drove an hour to PFS because they we polite and accommodating. I arrived an hour early (not advised) I was fortunate the day was light and had not started yet. We had boxes filled with tax and other important documents accumulated over 35 years. With Covid 19 restrictions, the free shredding service our city offers was cancelled. I called Mark. He was courteous, provided a price based on my calculations (the boxes were stored under our stairs....I could not see them all so I guessed.) Mark brought a large bin into the entry of our home, and he and I opened the boxes, and separated plastic and items that couldn't go through the shredder. Mark stood with me for an hour (?) throwing the papers into the bin, and when full, he went to his shredding truck, shredded while I watched, brought the bin back and we did the same thing 3 different times! Mark was very patient. The price was a little higher because there more boxes than I originally thought, but it was still inexpensive when considering I would have had to hire a truck, fill it myself and haul it to the shredding location! read more
