So I'll start to say that this location is closed thanks to lovely COVID, but the location in…read moreOverton is open but Yelp does not list that one. So I got my windows tinted today after searching far and wide for at least a half decent job without paying an arm and leg. I found this guy! I gotta say, the communication is awesome, response time and detailed info. The pricing is what sold me, I only needed a total of 4 windows tinted, not too much of a big deal. I was quoted $125. Hell, I was getting quoted $250-300 for the same type of job from other people in Utah and Las Vegas. So getting to the location in Overton isn't anything shady to me, he gave me pretty decent directions so I didn't have an issue. Kind of a nice drive honestly since I have never been out this way. On arrival he meets me at the shop, he backs my car up for me and says I can have a seat anywhere etc. pretty clean place! He's a pretty chilled dude, him and I talked and shot the breeze while he was doing the job. Real friendly guy. It took a whopping 45 minutes and he didn't even seem like he was rushing. Just like butter. I did however, cleaned my windows as best as I could(he didn't charge me extra for clean prep). I'm not too sure how people have a hard time getting old window film off, my old film came off like nothing. Anyway, he explained to me to not roll down or up the windows for about 5 days, for the tint can bond properly I'm assuming. Good info to have, as I did not know that before all this. I decided to keep my tint legal. 35% up front, 20% back. My interior is charcoal black, but it looks a bit darker than 35! Looks real damn good. Honestly surprised me. 20% looked like 10! He uses Rayno S5 tint, and I did my research on that too. So far, after my many hours of internet searches I have found nothing but positive reviews on that kind of tint. After driving in 114 degrees today, I can tell a difference with the heat. My AC isn't sitting on the highest fan speed anymore just to keep me barely cooled down. In conclusion, of a long ass review; I recommend this guy and his tint products. If any damages happen, or bubbling and all that crap, I'll report back and update this review.

My project was unique, I have butted glass windows and the center panel was hit and shattered in a million pieces. Thank heavens it was tempered so it sat shattered and standing until it could be replaced. They somehow replaced only the center panel and complete, it looks like it never happened. They now have earned my loyalty and trust. Now, I'm a #1 fan!!

After three calls and numerous photos sent to them they gave me an estimate for $440. The estimate that was signed by me clearly states no deposit is necessary. See photos below. Days later their tech came out to measure the needed window. After he left I call Glass Doctor to see the timeframe for installation of the new glass. I was told 6-9 days to get the new glass in and another 6-9 days to wait for an opening in their installation schedule. I politely stated I would like it sooner. The lady said she would speak to the Owner. The Owner called back, mentioned nothing about my wanting the glass sooner, but ONLY TO DEMAND A 50% DEPOSIT. I said, no one has ever mentioned a deposit in the several calls between us. The owner stated it is their policy to collect a deposit. I stated that that wasn't on the estimate. In fact it says no deposit needed. She got very upset with me and stated that she doesn't like the way I'm talking to her. Huh? I wasn't rude, loud, condescending at all. The friends listing on speaker at my home were laughing at her claim. She stated I should find a new company. I said, I would write a review about this and she replied she didn't care. She would just add a reply claiming I was rude to her. So expect that she will be doing just that. Bottom line: The owner demanded a deposit from me as a way to be mean. Frankly, I have no issue with doing so but to demand a deposit simply because I'm inquiring about an estimated install date is unprofessional. Sounds to me I would have been waiting a lot longer than estimated for my glass.

I was really excited to get my car tinted at St. George Tint Shop. As a 26-year-old who just bought…read moremy first car myself, I did my research and saw all the 5-star reviews, so I trusted them to do a great job and take good care of my vehicle. I paid nearly $1,000 for what I expected to be high quality window tinting. Right after picking up the car, I noticed small scratches and bubbles. They said they'd fix it, but life got busy with work, and I didn't get back in right away. I tried to schedule an appointment later, called and left a message canceling resdue to work conflicts, but they later claimed I no showed and acted like it never happened. Then, when friends were driving and I sat in the backseat (which I rarely do), I looked up and saw major problems. They used two different sheets of tint overlapping on the rear windows, with bubbling, peeling, and a huge noticeable gap. There was also dirt trapped underneath the tint in places, and scratches all over. I reached out politely, explaining I was unhappy and wanted either a full refund or to have it redone properly elsewhere because I no longer trusted them with my car. Initially, they agreed to a full refund or replace "whatever makes me happy" I accepted that offer for a refund. The next day, the owner stepped in and backtracked, saying they couldn't do a full refund because they're a small business. They then offered 50%, which I declined. They kept changing their story, dropping the refund amount, claiming only one window qualified for a full refund, while ignoring the rest of the horrible job on the other windows. I understand small businesses have challenges, but as someone who works hard and is very careful with large purchases like this, I feel misled. I was promised a refund, then it was yanked away after I relied on their word. The workmanship is honestly the worst tint job I've ever seen: overlapping pieces, peeling edges, bubbles, gaps, scratches, and trapped dirt. It's not even close to professional. I have since took my car to multiple tint shops to get their opinion and they are blown away by view work that I received at St. George tint shop. I wouldn't recommend this shop based on my experience. If you're considering them because of the reviews, double check recent ones and maybe ask to see examples in person. Save yourself the headache and money, go somewhere with consistent quality and better customer service. And yes the tint has warranty under it, but it is not warranty for improper installation and scratches and personally I don't think that I should have have to go back and get my whole car redone after giving them a whole day to do a botched job with it.
