Have been patronizing this store for a few years mainly because of location convenience but honestly, if a competitor moved in nearby, I'd go there instead. First of all, staff is pretty decent, not perfect but not the worst. They have had some turn over so your experience may vary for each visit, just don't expect too much. They seem to be chronically understaffed and 50% of the time, getting someone to set you up in a practice bay is an ordeal. Which, btw, are now overpriced considering the equipment and quality. The website is a miserable experience to book a practice bay btw and checking in to pay is just as bad. The whole process could be streamlined. Store layout is awkward af. There are two registers up front separated by the entrance so you're standing in the way of people coming, going and trying to walk through. Very often only one register is staffed by someone, so plan on waiting in a line most of the time. This is where the staffing issues are obvious, in addition, their PoS systems are glacier slow so transactions are not quick & efficient. The cashier also often has to answer the phone or take extra time with a customer's need (trade ins). Seems like this is a bottleneck in the store, makes me NOT want to purchase anything there because the wait & transaction process is painful. Again, not blaming staff, this is a PGAStore corp. decision to go cheap on PoS and create an awkward store layout & experience; thus discouraging me from wanting to purchase anything, unless I see there is no line, but there often is. Lessons & fittings. Have not personally experienced this so cannot speak to it, though others online have and it is not great apparently, do your research. However. If you want to talk golf equipment, most of the staff over at fitting bays can be knowledgeable and helpful, IF they have the time, which usually they do not because they're very busy. So often, trying a used club will also be an exercise in patience. This is sort of understandable but seriously, if an associate walks past someone hold a club looking for assistance (this has happened more than once) at least ask to make an effort. But again, most staff is friendly knowledgeable & try to be helpful. Clothing selection is adequate though pricey, even for golf. They also have the standard shoe selection, though often out of stock for most common or popular sizes. Again, do not expect much. Balls, gloves and other accessories are plentiful and pretty much as you'd expect. The putting green area is awesome. Great to just pick out a display model and try it. In the end, I only go here if I have no choice because I advocate supporting local over corporate stores and this one is an example why; too much price for a mid to low experience. read more

Won some gift cards in a raffle and needed to spend them. Took another $80 lesson and unfortunately still do not feel I got my money's worth for what other lesson offerings are out there for less. Also decided to buy a new pair of shoes. Asked the associate in the shoe section the difference between two shoes by the same brand with a $30 price difference. Central Ohio from Florida, where I frequent in the PGA TOUR superstore in Orlando. They have a great selection and all the prices seem to be the same at all the stores. It's nice to see everything that you could possibly want in one place I bought several things there over the years and always felt like I got a fair deal. I'm giving this review because of salesman Gabriel. He was a great help to us buying golf shoes. He saved us a lot of time, and made our experience at the store great. Spent twice as much money as I would have, but I am very happy that I did, because what we came away with was exactly what we needed and wanted. I feel obligated to say however that we had a previous experience in the same store where salespeople had begun to help us select golf clubs, only to then vanish. I'd rather give my time, money and attention to other businesses and even locations that don't specifically specialize in golf. This store has a lot of great stuff and option, but the customer service experience is atrocious! I've gone into this store several times during 2022 with the hopes that maybe they listen to reviews or feedback.... Or maybe even had some training to improve the customer experience, but I was disappointed just like every other time I've walked into the store. I've bought new clubs, driver, golf bag, and shoes this year... all with the hope of buying them here but after an hour of walking around holding a driver in my hand trying to find someone to ask if I can hit it, I did not success in my quest. Which is exactly what it feels like shopping here for me, a quest or journey to find an able bodied individual who actually gives a flying fart about helping others find what they need. So I went to Golf Galaxy where I was greeted immediately, given 20 minutes of attention and spent well over a thousand dollars. It's amazing to me how the store seems so big and when you look around all the staff they have "walking" around and looking busy, but not one person can make eye contact or say "hello" or "welcome" or "can I help you," but I get it, in 2022 that's asking a lot! read more

There is 1 guy at this store who is a nice guy who use to work at GolfSmith, everyone else is Horrible! Customer focus sucks! I stopped in this past Sunday to get fitted for a driver and buy one and I'm no below average golfer. I consistently break 80 & was serious about buying a new driver. Well clown #1 helped me then disappeared, then clown#2 came to ask if I needed help and I told him that the other guy was helping then left, then clown #1 came back after he saw me looking for him, then clown #2 had clown #3 help me and I actually thought I was going to get help, till I saw clown#3 go assist clown #2. Long story short, I gave up, went to Golf Galaxy and I dealt with one person who gave me 100% attention and ended up making a purchase! PGA Store sucks! Go to Galaxy is what I say! read more
