Another time I went in to get a gun appraised to possibly sell it to them, apparently only one person is able to do that? I had to run a gauntlet over the phone of questions only to be told that I wouldn't be allowed to come and test or shoot because I would be alone and had not been in the store over a year in over a year. I made it clear that I was looking to purchase an item but wanted to see if they had it at the rental counter first so that I could try it first in a gentleman. I was speaking to ran a litany of items that I would have to pay before I could even get in there to test it out range fees once a year cleaning fees first time fees rent my gun fee pay for my ammo fee, not use my own ammo, etc.. The last time I was in there I had to run my license to buy shotgun shells. Range USA seems to be coming an extension of the ATF and not a retail firearm store. Sad to say I won't be going back there. There are plenty of places out there that I can do this without their hassle. Maybe I should just wait for another name change of the store and I will have a different management philosophy.
