She just was there to click not redirecting or anything. Then we had to schedule a zoom call for the photos... which I found out it would be 4,800$ for 20 photos an a wall portrait 11x14 and the digital photos were 200 each picture.. I was definitely not prepared seeing those prices they didn't discuss pricing before so I was completely shocked. I ended up paying 308 for 3 photos. Definitely won't be coming back whole thing felt very scamy.

The session per child was $25 and it included the shoot, costumes with accessories and an 8x10 professional photo. To top it all off, all of the money goes to a Children's charity! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and then given a rundown of what to expect. After that we were shown to our dressing room where they provided the girls' beautiful gowns complete with flower crowns. Large dressing room and restroom with combs, hair products and accessories if you leave yours at home. Our photographer was Stephanie and she was amazing! She was patient and kind. She listened and communicated to the kids and parents. I also appreciated her consideration of consent-- asking the kids (and parents) if it was ok for her to pick the kids up, etc. before doing so. My 3yr old and 1.5 year old happily made it through their entire sessions without any tears! That's major. Once the session was complete the girls were given a surprise toy (of their choosing) and we set up a zoom time and date for us to review our photos. I highly recommend scheduling a fairy photoshoot here for your kids (girls or boys), for the experience alone -- bc we haven't even gotten our photos yet lol. But, I'm certain they will be awesome! Working with KHP and her all-star team is not just a professional photography session but an experience that allows you to feel good about yourself and have that self shine in a way that feels completely authentic to you. I've had the pleasure of working with Olympia twice now -- once when I needed professionally styled headshots quite quickly for an upcoming feature/publication and once for a lifestyle shoot. To say that their product is top notch is an understatement -- no detail goes unthought of...from styling, hair and makeup, lighting, vision...and it all comes together with this fun, carefree, beautiful experience, working in their studio (and having fun as well) that makes this team worth every penny. They make it feel effortless. They also manage to compress entire sessions and selection process into short time span (though you wont feel rushed) ...genuinely, the work they do in terms of studio time would take most an entire day. A few months back, I logged into a Zoom call and noticed that my awesome headshots from that session didn't really look like me at all anymore. In this post-Covid lockdown world, as we might be tip-toeing slowly and carefully back to the world of in-person meetings and conferences, using an old headshot felt like a little bit of "bait and switch!" Let's face it, hair is longer, skin is still fabulous, but...I'm OLDER. Still awesome, still sassy, but I needed an update. This time I worked with the fabulous Olympia Roll (and again, why on earth would you make this investment without the professional makeup add-on specifically for the photographer?) who "got me" from the first minute. One thing I especially love is the super light touch on touchups and post-processing. These pictures look like me, not an air-brushed, over-filtered, a little too pose-y overly contrived version of me. Now I need to either write a book or run for office (or both! ha!) because she gave me photos that make me look and feel like a BOSS. Thank you!

We had such an amazing time on Lake Travis thanks to Willo and Float On. Everything about the…read moreexperience was extremely streamlined from booking to filling out waivers to navigating to the marina. Willo gave superb instructions on operating and piloting the boat including an overview of relevant customs and laws while out on the water. Our group had six adults and one 2-year old and they had plenty of water safety devices for all ages. On a side note, it was wonderful to see how genuinely excited Willo was about Lake Travis once again having a healthy water level after several dry years. In terms of our experience on the lake, we got excellent advice on where to travel based on our team's interests and after following his directions it felt like we had arrived on our own private lake. We probably only saw a handful of other boats during our 3-hour excursion and that was only in passing. The boat came with a Garmin GPS that made it really easy to retrace our steps. For those wondering, there was excellent cell phone service out on the lake and we were able to use our phone GPS, make calls, and stream music. The boat had some nice integrated speakers with Bluetooth connectivity and we were able to jam out to our own tunes. There was also a cool flotation device attached to the back of the boat called the Aqua Lily Pad which we unrolled after anchoring, we had multiple adults laying on it without sinking into the lake. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience and we would highly recommend booking with Float On.

Before arriving to the dock, Trisha, who has been coordinating with us, and Brett, our captain, contacted us about half an hour ahead of time notifying us that Brett was ready for us at the lake whenever we arrived! Upon arrival, he provided a cooler with ice and water bottles for us to use to store some of our sandwiches and drinks. The boat ride was extremely smooth and he provided much insight into Lake Travis! The boat was equipped with speakers that allowed us to play our favorite songs and the slide & lily pad were a nice added touch! The girls and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the location he chose, Devil's Cove, was great for pictures and swimming. Overall, the experience was a 10/10 and I would highly recommend booking with Nauti ATX Charters again!

I hired Ron Parks as my photographer for my family maternity shoot. My initial phone conversation with Ron was great in that he went over the details for the day. We let him know that we wanted to shoot around the city of Georgetown, TX; he confirmed and also added that we could utilize his studio that was located above a coffee shop, as it had a huge window with a beautiful view and would make for nice silhouette photos. Ron also advised that we could have as many outfit changes as we wanted during the hour shoot. I couldn't wait for the day and told my husband and daughter to plan for at least one outfit change. The day of the shoot came and we waited for him in the coffee shop like he asked. Once he arrived, I thought it strange that we didn't initially go up to his studio to talk about the shoot or prep, but we went with it and began our family photo shoot around the beautiful city of Georgetown. After the first half of the shoot it was time for an outfit change. We weren't escorted to his studio, but instead, back to the coffee shop to use their restroom to change into our second outfits; my husband changed in the car. Odd, but the general experience of the shoot so far was enjoyable, so we continued. As we neared the end of the second half of the shoot, I asked Ron about his studio idea with the view and the silhouette pictures. He responded that we would have to climb a number of stairs to get to it and mentioned a few other things that deterred my decision to want to go to the studio to finish the shoot. On any other day I would have pushed the issue, but I didn't because I was 8 months pregnant, wearing heels and getting pretty tired. At the end of the shoot, Ron offered us another photo package in which we could purchase the entire shoot of over 100 photos for a reasonable price-- we purchased it. We were advised to give him about a week to send the full photo DVD that we purchased. After 3 weeks of no word, I sent him an email to check on the status; I was advised it was in the mail. Once we received the disc, my family and I sat down to review the (over 100) maternity shoot pictures. I was almost immediately unimpressed and disappointed in the quality, lighting, creativity, poses, and general look of the photos. In most of the photos around the city where we were positioned in front of windows, either Ron or a member of our party's reflection was in it. The results just did not strike us as inspired or professional in quality at all. Of all of the photos we paid for, we only liked about 6 of them. Overall, Ron's a very nice guy and we had a fun experience, but I would not choose to go with this company again for a significant photo shoot.
