Came here for the first time to buy some fireworks for 4th of July. Usually friends and family make the trip down to the keys for me. But this time I decided to come and see what this place was all about. I'm glad I came, it is totally worth the drive. The selection is incredible, and a little overwhelming lol. You want to buy everything!!!!! They usually have some pretty good discounts depending the time you come. I received 30% my fireworks the day I came which was a nice touch. The products are a little expensive but you do get what you pay for. My friends and I came together and had about 450$ worth of fire works and I'd say they lasted about 2 1/2 hours which the kids and our party guest loved. read more

I love Phantom Fireworks!!!! It's the only place I go to get fireworks. I won't buy from any of the tents where you'll spend big bucks on fireworks that really won't do much. It's been our annual tradition to drive to the keys for the day, stop in at phantoms, and then spend the rest of the day/night somewhere in the keys. Perhaps it makes more sense to get the fireworks on the way back but this way there will be no excuses not to stop in, just in case we had too much fun in the sun! Anyways, Phantom has really good promotions like buy one get one .99 cents or like last year's spend an amount and get something free. I wish there were more promotions because it's easy to spend a lot of money here. I think I would spend more if there were more promos. Trust me. I usually go for the what I call "medium danger" fireworks. Some nice bottle rockets, Roman candles, shooting fire candles, and comet tails. There's also "Big Boy" fireworks here too so I'd suggest to know your caliber. We've done these in the past and no duds or cheap quality stuff here. I love that an attendant will walk around with a tablet and show you how the firework will look once ignited. They don't do refunds or returns unless it was a dud. I want to express my disgust in the time of paying, the sales boy Julio is fantastic and I always come to buy with him. But today he is coming and at the time of paying the cashier put a wrong code and the manager had to come to fix the coupon. Manager Rubén with a very bad and disrespectful attitude began to make the transaction. I didn't tell him anything but his bad attitude damages your day. Apparently he doesn't like to do his job and he treats us very badly with expressions like "Where is the coupon?!", at no time did he come out of his mouth, excuse me or please. I've been coming to Phantom for several years now, as it is only 35 miles south of my home. I usually make it a day-long "staycation" in the Keys when I visit there. As a first time customer, you'll register with them with your driver's license. You present your D/L on all subsequent visits, and you sign a paper "saying you're over 18" wink...wink.... Also, by being registered, they send you these great catalogs, and their website actually has video demos of what each item does. All the aisles are neatly laid out by type of item, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. I've never had any "dud" items from Phantom. I like their "buy one, get another for 99 cents" promotions around the 4th of July. It can get expensive, and it's like setting money on fire, but damn, it's so much fun!! I'd recommend Phantom for fireworks for anyone from Metro Miami, or vacationers who drive down to visit the Keys. read more

If you really want to get "ripped off" do not buy from those parking lot kiosks, those summer fireworks,& winter side of the road, Christmas tree guys..if you really want to save money and get a good set of display items, go to South of the Border (yeah its a hike) and hit the place "Jabs" Fireworks that is 1/3 the price of everyone else and a video of each item is on display.. if you buy over certain levels they throw a lot of stuff in free. read more

I have tried Sky Kings (another firework store), and Phantom is definitely the place you want to go (hands down). They also almost always have awesome buy one, get one sales, so saving money is extremely easy here. A bit dissapointing... They claim to have good prices but they are excessively expensive. I know they are fireworks and personally to me I think it's the equivalent of burning dollars bills but it's definitely not the 4th of July without them. My husband and kid love them so I let him splurge a little. Usually all firework places have good deals but not here at phantom. No buy one get one. No small kid friendly fireworks etc. No small kits only kits over $50. Ect... Even the sparklers are $17 bucks a little ridic I think. The main reason we stopped in was because of a deal in groupon. I bought a $99 36 shot for $35. If not I don't think we would of stepped foot inside. We ended up spending another $22 bucks on a pack of sparklers and smoke bombs not too exciting. If you ask me this place is at best mediocre and overly priced. I will stick to the tents where there are better deals. read more
