I had to give props to both Pennsylvania and Maryland law makers for a never ending source of…read moreentertainment. The law is clear, if you are a PA resident you cannot purchase or possess anything but the lame ground fireworks. Yet the store specializes in the "big stuff" for out of state people, specifically Maryland residents! Though it is technically illegal to shoot off the fire works you can own as many of them as you like without fear. And for the most part, unless you are a booger eating moron and burn down the barn no one will mess with you. That leads me into my review of the store and of course the people who are not allowed to go into the store, namely PA residents. But more on that later. The store is great, the selection is pretty broad and the staff is knowledgeable. They pointed me to all of the good stuff. They also have different levels of fireworks. You can buy the cheap stuff or for a few dollars more you can get a much higher quality product. What is really popular are the aerials. The mortars and cannons that make that loud deep thunk and the a great star or whistler with the loud BOOM at the end. Pretty quality stuff and the prices are cheap. For example, I bought a 8 mortar set for $8.50 and they were excellent. You can also buy larger sets of mixed items. I spent a few hundred dollars here this year. I love the rolls of 16,000 firecrackers that went on for 30 minutes. We had a great display in the back yard and lots of fun. Now on to the locals. Seems that every toothless fool tried to get in to the place. Rednecks and fireworks are a essential combination. The most common excuse I heard was I lost my license to a DUI can I get in? Also, I heard a lot of "I forgot my license" and promises that they were not PA residents. I don't think it is a great idea to have someone who lost their license to be allowed to buy fireworks. That did not seem to stop them. These folks were in the parking lot trying to get out of state people to buy them for them. Like a 15 year trying to get the adult to buy them beer they would not relent. The fun part was the local police had someone across the street waiting to nail these idiots when the trade went down. So the moral of this lesson is move to Maryland! Keep your house in order, little boys and girls should not play with fireworks! Great place to go for some clean fun. They also have incentive programs for when you spend over 101 and up. I will go there every year from now on!

While the building is not the largest, they have a reasonable selection of fireworks at all levels from basic to grand finale. As an independent they have various brands including Racoon and Winda. Two rarer brands they carry include Miracle and Sunwing, which I had not previously heard of. Prices varied, but were generally lower than your chain stores like Phantom. Where they stand out is service, I had a few questions about odd products and they were able to provide alternate products that were acceptable substitutes. Overall, All American Fireworks is worth a stop if you are in the area.

They have fun rides for the kids and some more exciting rides for adults. Mind you it's not Hersheypark or what Walt Disney World, the rides are small and a bit rickety, but it is a fun time for a small-town. The zipper, roundabout, swings, etc. The fair usually starts midweek and runs through Saturday night. On Friday each year they have a good fireworks display at about 9 PM. Like most small fairs, you can buy single tickets, books of tickets or a wristband that's good for the night. Although it's quite expensive to buy the wristband, you'll go broke trying to ride rides with tickets so just pony up for the wristband and have a good time. Plenty of food, but rides on an antique firetruck, and more. Note that this is really a kid centric event. Of course as an adult you could go and do the bigger rides, but there's no alcohol served and you will be surrounded by mobs of teenagers.

Last time we were on the video board side also in the corner upper rows. Directly opposite of where we sat last night. Both areas had great views of the field and for the most part we were able to watch the game without issues. When people and their kids were constantly getting up to let others through or kids just bored talking loud, playing loud videos, or moving around the stands without parents being parents, then there were problems which were at times difficult to deal with. Another issue which I did not even think to consider is that where we were, and having the river behind us, is that there were numerous flies making things irritating. Parking is in numerous lots throughout the area and all are cashless, so buy your pass before and get the code emailed to you to be scanned by the attendants. Police are plentiful directing traffic before and after the game. Subaru Park holds 20,000. There's plenty of bathrooms, multiple food stands (average food at high prices), and if you don't mind 24/7 cheering, the Sons of Ben section almost next to us will make you wonder how many sore throats there are the day after games. Some sections have signage specifically stating that they are standing allowed sections. The Sons of Ben sections also have signs saying you can expect to stand the whole game. Overall, we had a great time and are 2-0 with Union wins both games we attended. When we come back again, we'll be shooting for the video board side for our seats. No flies, less kids, not as much noise from the Sons of Ben (sorry, everyone) and less windy! Go Union! Ba-ba-baba-ba-ba-ba-ba....Heeeeeeyyy You! For about 20 minutes straight....

I like that this stadium was designed for soccer matches rather than sharing with other sports. It's not overwhelming, easy to get to the vendors you want, the bathrooms are clean, no roof, and you can see everything happening on the pitch without looking up at the screen. The river/bridge is right behind one side with a nice view from behind the opposing team's supporter section. The parking lot can use some work but I'm sure that will come in time.
