This comics shop is small and unassuming, but it's a gem. The place is like my bar. I'll go there…read moreto pick up my monthly books and end up staying over an hour talking to Lou, the owner, and the other patrons about anything and everything. If you're a collector of current, single-issue comics, that is this store's specialty, but if you want graphic novels or collectibles, you can still order those too. Lou is extremely knowledgeable. He has rarely recommended a book to me that I haven't enjoyed, and he won't steer you in the direction of bad books just to make a sale. Just make sure you have cash in your wallet before you go though, because this store is cash only.

It used to be extremely isolationist and the employees would actively push you to not buying anything and leaving asap as you've probably interrupted their D&D or MTG game by shopping. Their selection was nearly illogically lacking, such as 1 of 5 core books being the only available or simply not getting any new or desired items. Yet the ccgs seem to be enough to have allowed them to move and grow They're worth the 2nd chance even though they may have seriously offended you, which is why no one I know, (40yr of CCG ttrpg friends and experience and friends), will ship there. The employees would start fights rather than actually help. But I have not seen that since they moved. Cases, bags, boards and boxes. You can also get a "pull" subscription set up so you don't miss your favorite issues. Usually events going on EVERY DAY or EVENING if you enjoy card gaming. But I really did want this, as they are fairly rare to come across in person. I would have been willing to pay $50 a box, but the employee told me there was absolutely no wiggle room. When I told him the value of these is always less than $40, i was told that "Yeah but when they came out they were going for more" Product will always go up and down, these guys have no problem when it goes up. But if it goes down, they wont change their sticker price and are unwilling to accommodate. They would rather (maybe eventually) scam their own customers.
