There are a ton of shady characters. I've seen people before try to get a CTA employee to help them out with an issue & act surprised when the employee doesn't help them. Just like the "security theatre" that is TSA, CTA isn't law enforcement... they CAN'T enforce laws. They will only assist you by making a report & contacting the actual police.

She greeted me with such warmth and a bright smile. She put a smile on my face with her energy. When I requested the lift, she was so happy to assist me. Felicia was very professional and also asked if I required assistance with my seatbelt. The drive was very pleasant and she picked me up on time and got me to my destination in a timely manner. Her over all attitude and professional appearance were great. I truly enjoy the transportation ride. My experience with Felicia McDaniels was exceptional! The 3rd SCR Driver, Tami Wright, who picked me up to take me home from my second appointment was very helpful, professional, and had a great attitude. Tami arrived time, ask me if I required any assistance with my bag, and waited patiently for me. She asked if I required any assistance with my seatbelt and kept a radiant smile on her face. The drive home was comfortable and the conversation with her was pleasant. Her positive attitude and energy made me feel protected and cared for. She also suggested the best seats to sit in to avoid the impact of the bumpy streets in Chicago. I think they leave every hour from the airport and I'm usually able to board a shuttle without an advance reservation. Their prices are also extremely reasonable--they're cheaper than a taxi cab and lower than most other airport shuttle services. One tip for the cheapskates: Omega has several pre-set boarding locations throughout Hyde Park and the South Side (the list is on their website). If you live around the corner from one of those stops and you don't mind dragging your luggage a little more, you can save a few dollars by getting dropped off at a boarding location instead of at your front door.

I knew time would be valuable so I planned to arrive early, leave late, and I scheduled everything a week in advance. I confirmed my shuttle's time, date and locations the day before. I arrived at O'Hare and walked to the pickup location by the bus stops. I was told by an Omega employee that the shuttle would be there early (9AM) and that the trip would only take 30 minutes. I was very excited. He took my money in exchange for a ticket, then he drove off in his van and told me the shuttle would be there shortly. Thirty minutes went by, and it was 9 AM. I was not yet concerned because I had scheduled for 9:30. I called and they assured me that the shuttle would be there at 9:30. At 9:30, I called and they assured me it would be there momentarily. At 10, I called and they said he was around the corner. The shuttle arrived at 10:30. The driver got out and took ten minutes to smoke a cigarette. Then once we did leave, the shuttle took over an hour to get to Hyde Park. I promptly cancelled my return shuttle and took a taxi. It was more expensive, but I knew it wouldn't cause me to miss my flight home. I will never use Omega again.
