I especially enjoyed these mini chocolate cinnamon caramel tarts for just $2.50. It had a buttery crust with a dense caramel chocolate filling with a cinnamon kick. It was really outstanding and easily rivals gourmet pastries in San Francisco. I plan to buy at least four on our way to the airport so I can bring some home to friends and family.

I can't say enough nice things about this business! We are regular visitors to Maui and stop in…read moreevery single time we are here. If you are lucky, you will get to meet the artist and she will explain exactly what she does. It's phenomenal. Her work is unbelievable. She is lovely! Today I was helped by Aaron--just as kind and helpful. If you want a truly unique souvenir or piece of art for your home, this is THE place. Highest recommendation.

Whether you're local or visiting Kona, Nana's Clay Flowers is a must, especially if you're looking…read morefor a unique, handmade gift for yourself or someone else. The artistry of these clay flowers is like nothing we've ever seen anywhere else. They look so real! From orchids to plumeria, hibiscus to bird of paradise (and more), you'll do a double take when you realize these flowers are in fact sculpted from clay! My husband and I walked in last Nov and met Tara who was in the process of preparing the clay to sculpt a new flower. We paused to watch and she kindly told us about her process and even gave me a small hibiscus she literally made in under 5 minutes! Mahalo again, Tara! I keep that perfect little mini flower on display at home along with a couple of other flowers we bought that day, and they always makes me smile :) Friends & fam who we gifted flowers to also loved theirs! Think about it, you'll never have to water the flowers, they'll stay vibrant and perfect forever, and you'll have a beautiful memento of Kona/Hawaii that's 100% better than anything you'd find in an ABC Store or other generic souvenir shop (and those items are usually not even made in Hawaii).

How embarrassed was I when one of the alleged indigenous wooden bracelets was nothing but cheap plastic with some sort of sticker appliqué that rubbed off after less than a week? This year it was his intent to buy me a ring to match, unfortunately the place we bought from last year did not have any rings, Therefore it became our goal to find a ring and we searched high and low in Kona and the vicinity, and no-one had a Larimar ring. Then late yesterday afternoon we ventured into Eclectic Craftsman and they like the other places had necklaces and earrings but alas again no rings:(. That is when Marie says I'll get my husband Phil to make you one! We picked the stone of an existing earring and Marie said she was pretty sure Phil could and would make me a ring before we left town and well 24 hors later I have a new ring on my finger! Their store is loaded with beautiful jewelry, native Hawaiian arts and crafts all really beautifully done and at very reasonable prices. Please go in and check them out they are right on Ali'i Drive, I know we will be visiting them again on our next trip to Kona!
