Kalia is such a lovely gal, full of fun, happy to help out at any point, full of interesting info about Hawaiian culture and enthusiastic about sharing her skills with others. She is an excellent teacher and so friendly. Everyone enjoyed talking to one another, sharing ideas, and advice about other classes we had taken an Hui No'eau previously. The gardens, gallery and gift store are all lovely to walk though so make sure you don't miss out. Plus it is the perfect place to take a post class picnic in the shade and relax.

Today i went for a walk in old industrial and it started to rain so i ducked into the international…read moremarket to hide and was surprised at how few shops were there. I walked in and out looking around and all i got from a few vendors was a simple hello if that, Which made me feel rather unwelcome. Then i went around to the back and found Trudy's and was immediately greeted with warm and cheery "hello, how are you?" She talked to me about how everything in her shop is made on the island and asked if i wanted to see anything in particular. She was so helpful she pointed out a pair of "Rare Treasures" earrings that she thought i would like and i loved them! I told her I'll take them! I simply adore my new earrings and Couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'm so glad it rained and i will definitely be going back to support the local businesses and not that cheap made in china imitation stuff.

The coconut milk was so smooth and espresso was perfect amount marrying with the ube. Would definitely return. In addition to their drinks, we got a molasses dark chocolate bar which was delicious and perfect with our drinks. The shop had a lot of nice merch. I also bought a nice Puna chocolate shirt; so adorable. Great spot for cool refreshing drinks.
